I Can Transform Into Any Monster-Chapter 52: Stronger Monster
Chapter 52: Stronger Monster free𝑤ebnovel.com
"Besides, Luis, you might be able to find another Spirit there. If there are many Level 6 or 7 Monsters, one or two of them might be hiding a Spirit inside their bodies," Alice continued in a tone that seemed to be provoking him to go there.
It seemed that, even though she always appeared calm, she was actually very curious about his abilities.
Luis held his chin, thinking deeply.
However, he wasn’t thinking about whether he would go to Velos 32 or not because he had already decided to go there.
He was only thinking about how he would fight.
He needed to become a stronger Monster because if he remained a Primordial Monster or an equivalent monster, he would only be on par with Level 7 Monsters without being able to kill them.
That wasn’t enough.
Of course, Primordial Monsters weren’t the strongest type of monsters.
They were merely monsters above Ordinary Monsters that originated from the Primordial Era, but even in that era, they were only at the lowest level.
Above them were True Primordial Monsters, all of whom possessed terrifying destructive power.
They are the true monsters because they are not evolved from ordinary animals like the other Primordial Monsters.
It is said that to match the power of a True Primordial Monster, the Awakener needs at least three Tier 3 Spirits plus many Tier 2 Spirits, all of which must support the power of each Tier 3 Spirit.
Luis began to look at his phone.
He had only ever heard about the True Primordial Monsters but had never seen their photos.
In fact, their photos couldn’t even be easily found online because the people who had seen them weren’t the type to take photos. Even if they did take photos, they wouldn’t upload them to the internet; they usually only shared them within their small communities.
As Luis continued searching through the empire’s websites, he found two, named Gloomroot and Brumak, but only their names. Their photos could only be accessed after paying 1,000 Dollars.
Of course, he had no problem paying for it.
However, opening the photos took time because the file sizes were enormous, as they were taken from a great distance with high-quality cameras, allowing the photos to be zoomed in on every detail.
When the photo of Gloomroot was revealed, Luis couldn’t help but be amazed by the appearance of the monster called Gloomroot.
This is a type of monster with a tree-like body, but its shape is more like an octopus.
Its size isn’t that large, but it has thousands of roots, each of which is extremely long.
Each of these roots even has a sharp tip like a spear.
"But it does resemble an octopus," Luis thought.
Additionally, the monster has the ability to spew toxic yellow smoke said to weaken enemies.
The monster’s focus is clearly on defeating large numbers of enemies.
As for Brumak, it is a gigantic monster with a body made of blue scales and ice, adorned with numerous horns on its head and back.
Its size is so immense that its palm alone can grasp a monster of the same level.
It is said that when it appears, summer instantly turns cold, and the seas freeze over.
If it roars, the blood of living creatures around it will turn to ice.
Luis wasn’t sure what kind of monster it would transform into, as each seemed to have its own unique strengths.
"Of course, they’re still below the Holy Beasts," he thought.
Holy Beasts are more than just monsters.
Dragons and Phoenixes are part of the Holy Beasts, creatures that look down on monsters.
Unfortunately, even for the empire’s inhabitants, they were legends.
Luis couldn’t find any real photos of them.
"What are you looking at?" Alice suddenly asked, as he was very focused on his phone.
He was sitting with his back half-leaning against the car door, making it impossible for Alice to peek at his phone.
Luis gave her a mysterious smile in response.
If she was curious about him, then he would push her curiosity even higher.
"By the way, just drop me off here," he said with a smile that made Alice furrow her brows.
"Where do you want to go?" she asked as she slowed the car down.
"To the place you’re thinking of," Luis said calmly.
"Are you serious?" Alice looked shocked upon hearing that, causing her to slam on the brakes.
"Yeaahhhh..." Luis nodded before getting out of the car and closing the door.
Alice was clearly still filled with doubt, so she lowered the car window.
"Luis, that’s very dangerous. If you don’t have absolute confidence, you shouldn’t go there. There are still other opportunities for you to quickly increase your Battle Points," she said, suddenly looking worried about her choice.
Women are indeed hard to predict. She had initially encouraged him to go out of curiosity. Now that he had decided to go, she was worried.
For Luis, this at least showed that she saw him as someone important and didn’t want anything bad to happen to him.
"See you later," Luis replied.
Coincidentally, he spotted a large bus heading toward Velos 32. It wasn’t an ordinary bus, but a high-speed flying bus where the fare from Velos 33 to Velos 32 cost 500 Dollars, yet the journey only took around 30 minutes.
This was extremely fast, as the distance between the two cities was over 300 kilometers.
Luis turned out to be the last passenger. After paying, the bus immediately took off.
It belonged to the imperial transportation company, which was, of course, owned by the Whitemoon family and managed by Isadonna.
The bus quickly took off and glided at an absurd speed, making it impossible for ordinary humans to see their surroundings. However, Luis, as a Level C Awakener, could see everything clearly.
The only downside was that the seats were all economy class, with everyone sitting side by side.
Luis was lucky enough to be given a seat by the window.
Since he had to wait for 30 minutes, he naturally chose to play with his phone.
He was a bit curious about what Isadonna was doing at the moment, so he opened the camera of his robot through his phone to watch her, as the robot would monitor Isadonna nonstop unless she entered the bathroom.
To his surprise, she was just sitting on the sofa, reading one of the old books in his house, where she seemed to have just finished showering with wet hair and wearing only a plain white dress, which was indeed suitable for relaxing indoors.
Just a moment after he opened the robot camera, Isadonna suddenly looked toward the camera.
She seemed to immediately realize that she was being watched by human eyes.
Though her powers were sealed, her perception was still naturally very sharp.
"Go home if you don’t feel like seeing me anymore," she said suddenly, and it was heard on his phone, which fortunately was on low speaker so only he could hear her voice.
To Luis, her words sounded more like a taunt, and her expression indeed seemed like she was mocking him.
Luis didn’t see his parents in the house. They seemed to have gone out.
He didn’t respond to Isadonna’s words. If he spoke, the robot would relay his words.
And after speaking, Isadonna returned to reading the book, her expression appearing very focused.
Luis didn’t want her to think he was curious about her, so he closed the robot app and continued reading the news.
Today, the news was still about yesterday’s fight.
Apparently, all the students except Velika Aris had been confirmed dead from the poison.
The imperial citizens buried them together with deep sadness and anger toward Luis.
They were even angry because the government hadn’t made him a suspect and had instead changed the case to an unavoidable accident.
Because of that, the imperial citizens could only swear to take revenge.
Velika Aris, who survived, was also not in good condition.
She was said to have suffered paralysis in her legs because the poison had not been completely expelled from her body. If she wanted to recover, she had to advance to Level C first because only by reaching Level C could her body ignore the effects of the remaining poison.
However, this seems to be a blessing for her as she has received numerous Monster Cores from the Imperial Awakened Ones.
Her advancement to Level C is certain in the near future.
As the journey neared 30 minutes, the flying bus finally slowed down.
Up ahead, Luis saw a large city standing in the middle of a vast barren land with many sand dunes surrounding it.
There were many remnants of oil fields and refineries there.
This was indeed an area rich in oil, but in the current era, oil was no longer needed because the energy from Monster Cores was sufficient to meet energy demands.
The value of oil is zero, so the people of Velos have forgotten that in the past, some nations went to war solely for oil.
