I Can Upgrade My Talent In Everything-Chapter 47
47 The Armor of Pride!
Fein was looking at the design of the armor with interest. It wasn’t really aesthetic. Moreover, it looked plain enough to be ignored by anyone who pass by. If not for Fein’s acute sense, he wouldn’t even notice something strange on the armor.
Looking at the golden armor that was exuding a sunny and warm atmosphere. Fein carefully brought it into his hands. He caressed the runes, which seems to be an ancient language. It was carved exquisitely.
‘Probe!’

After seeing the ridiculous stats and abilities of the armor. Fein can’t describe his current happiness. It was too sudden. This is a pie falling from the sky. He even guessed he had already used his 10 years of luck in advance.
Fein looked at the merchant, who lost interest after seeing him pick up the plain-looking armor.
“How much for this armor?” Fein tried his best to hide the excitement inside him.
Lest the merchant notices and increases the price. Their shits only care about profit. If someone would survey what is the most black-hearted profession. No doubt, merchants would be on the top.
...
The Merchant was busy organizing the worthless kinds of stuff that he would sell to the customers. He couldn’t help but rub his hands after thinking about the heavenly sound of coins and the sparkly shining golds.
His name is Dei Marid, a veteran merchant that sells all kinds of in the San Luebisto Kingdom for fifteen years.
Dei looked at the idiots who were trying their luck. They are examining the goods in front of him. Although it’s undeniable that sometimes there would be a treasure here. But it is rare. And he knew the black-heartedness of people in his profession.
Just like him, they would carefully examine every nook and cranny to find if there’s something valuable in their goods.
Nonetheless, without these idiots. He wouldn’t earn that easily. So He was grateful that they are brain dead.
So now, looking at another customer who was inspecting the armor that he already determined as trash. Dei snickered in his head.
‘Heh, another idiot that would give me money!’ 𝑓𝒓𝚎e𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯𝘰𝐯𝒆𝑙.c𝚘m
But as he looked at his clothes that look expensive, he believes that the young man has some gold on him. A fat sheep that would give him money!
“How much for this armor?” The young man in black clothes inquired.
‘Hmmm, a new face, he must be a newcomer... Should I increase the price? But he might hesitate to buy it. Yosh, it’s decided then, I would increase the price slightly.’
‘Some might ask, do merchants like me don’t feel guilt? No fuck! Everything is worthless in the face of profit! Only profit is eternal in our circle of business. That’s why we would do everything just to earn a little more. Even if it means conning an old hag and kids.’
Dei the merchant stared at the young man, mustering the most polite smile that he can do. “Young man, you are lucky. This armor’s origin was mysterious. Moreover, you can see that the rune in this armor is written in an ancient language. You can guess how valuable it was.”
Dei’s smile turned solemn. And he also deliberately placed his hands on his back to present an image of an expert. He looked at the young man to see his reaction. Unfortunately, he was expressionless.
‘Eh? he didn’t buy my performance? It seems that this one isn’t na?ve as I’ve thought.’
The young man looked at Dei with a straight face and asked. “So how much?”
The merchant sighed after seeing that he wouldn’t get an extra profit this time.
So he decided to just honestly state the price. Lest he annoyed the young man and leave.
“Ahem”
Dei coughed to cover his embarrassment for failing to con the young man and says. “You can have it for twenty-eight silver coins.”
Dei had no choice but to state the highest price. He nervously stared at the young man. Afraid that he would back out suddenly. He was prepared to lower the price immediately if he saw a sign of him leaving.
“Here it is. ” The young man gave him one gold coin and fled.
Dei the merchant looked speechlessly at his back. It was as if he was afraid that Dei would change his decision.
Looking at the gold coin in his hand, Dei laughed in contentment.
‘It’s my lucky day! HAHAHA!’
...
Fein absconded with the Merchant’s place. As I was walking on the way to Albert and Voli. His lips would curl up unconsciously from time to time, making the passerby afraid. They distanced themselves from Fein as if he was crazy.
But Fein doesn’t care about this. Because his happiness was clouding his judgment. He just fucking successfully got an S-Class armor with just one gold coin! This... Isn’t it equivalent to giving it to him for free? Fein couldn’t help but think about the greedy merchant.
“Heh, he thought that he can fool me. What an idiot! If he only knows the value of this. He would probably regret it for life.” Fein looked at the armor with appreciation and chuckled at the Merchant’s idiocy.
Fein estimated that this Armor would even reach a whopping price of 30,000 gold coins.
‘The Merchant probably thought that he struck it rich. Well, he fucking deserves this. He probably already conned a lot of people. A kind person would receive kindness, while evil would have a horrible ending.’ Fein snickered.
At least the Merchant gave him free armor. He did a good deed once in his life by selling it to him.
Fein found a quiet corner in the area. After making sure that the place is devoid of people. He activated his storage space. The armor vanished out of thin air as if it didn’t even exist.
After taking care of this. Fein decided to return to the meeting place they agreed upon.
After Fein left... In the quiet corner, two pairs of crimson eyes were looking in the direction where he left. A glint flashed on the crimson eyes.
“Interesting,” a chilly voice resounded throughout the area. The temperature decrease freezing even the smallest substances in the air.
