I Got My System Late, But I'll Become Beastgod-Chapter 103: Five Days To War
Chapter 103: Five Days To War
Within the grand assembly hall of the United Federation of Allied Nations—UNFAN—the air was thick with tension. The leaders and representatives of the five great nations—Valtania, Galvia, Zhonghua, Kyokai, and Maravalia—sat still, their gazes fixed on the lone figure who stood unshaken in the center of the chamber: Veerendra, the sovereign of Aryavrata.
His voice echoed like thunder, unwavering and sharp.
"Does any member of UNFAN oppose my decision?" Veerendra asked, his eyes scanning the room.
Silence followed. Not one leader dared raise a voice. Not a whisper of dissent.
Veerendra narrowed his eyes, the aura around him intensifying.
"Then let it be known," he declared, his voice booming with divine authority, "if any nation dares to interfere or takes the side of Calonia, they shall fall with them. We do not seek war with innocents, but we will obliterate any who stand against justice. Aryavrata does not harm the citizens of any nation—but traitors and conspirators will face divine retribution."
The hall trembled as Veerendra raised his hand and roared a name, "Haider Ali!"
In a flash of light, a tall, armored warrior emerged before him, kneeling with utmost reverence.
"Yes, my lord," Haider Ali said, bowing his head.
"Begin preparations," Veerendra commanded. "Mobilize our legions. In five days, we march. The fires of Aryavrata shall descend upon Calonia. War has been declared."
Allies and enemies alike felt the weight of those words, and the world watched as the countdown to retribution began.
The hall was silent. Not a single ruler dared to speak after Veerendra’s declaration.
A sudden scoff echoed from the far end of the chamber.
Ivanka stepped forward, her crimson eyes gleaming.
"I don’t fear you, Veerendra. I’m currently the strongest person in this room. What do you think you can possibly do?"
Veerendra’s eyes narrowed.
"That’s foolish... if you truly believe that."
Suddenly—the ground trembled.
A colossal wave of energy exploded from Veerendra’s body, sending shockwaves throughout Wyndham. Buildings shook. Windows cracked. Every person, no matter how far, felt his presence. His aura completely drowned Ivanka’s. Even she flinched.
He stepped forward.
"Or maybe..." His voice was now a whisper of death, "...I should end your life here and now. Save myself the trouble during war."
In the blink of an eye, he vanished—only to reappear inches from Ivanka’s face, his fist already surging with devastating force.
Ivanka’s eyes widened—she barely managed to teleport a step back as Veerendra’s punch smashed through the space she stood in. The floor cracked like glass under the pressure.
Ivanka scowled, summoning a black portal behind her.
"I’ll kill you with my own hand... just wait."
And with that, she vanished into the portal, escaping like a shadow fleeing the sun.
Her students followed, retreating through portals with their teacher without a word.
Silence returned—until King Dion and Queen Zaynah of Galvia stepped forward.
"We will take our leave," Dion said, and with a gesture, their nation’s spatial mage teleported them and their students away.
King Louis of Valtania remained seated. He finally spoke:
"Though we are part of the Federation, we will not involve ourselves in this war unless it directly threatens Valtania."
Veerendra nodded. "I understand. I won’t force any nation to fight. But I ask only this—that the Federation temporarily severs ties with Calonia until the war is won."
After a long pause, the council unanimously agreed.
Then, two more voices rose.
Empress Shukiku of Kyokai and King Lu Shenlong of Zhonghua stood together.
"Veerendra," said Shenlong, "we support your cause. Ivanka attempted to attack small islands under our protection. We may have negotiated peace then, but this is far beyond tolerable."
"You have our blades," Shukiku said coldly. "She must learn her place."
Then Hyun Min-jae, the charismatic king of Maravalia, raised his hand and smiled.
"Don’t worry, Lord Veerendra. Carnelia will always stand by your side."
Veerendra looked around the hall, his eyes passing over each ruler.
"My thanks... to all of you—for understanding the burden I carry."
He turned, the air around him still rumbling with power.
"If you’ll excuse me, I must begin preparing for war."
And with that, the King of Aryavrata disappeared, leaving behind silence... and the thunderous promise of war.
As soon as King Veerendra vanished from the grand stadium, an equally commanding voice rose to fill the silence.
"Students of Aryavrata!" Haider Ali’s voice thundered across the grounds like a war drum. "Prepare yourselves. We leave for Aryavrata—now."
The Aryavratan students immediately began to gather. The air still buzzed with tension from the confrontation with Ivanka.
Amid the crowd, Aamir stood alongside his closest friends—Raj, Kunal, Seenu, Riya, and Hyun Ji-won—his breathing steady, but his thoughts clouded.
Raj nudged him, eyeing him with concern. "Hey... what was that earlier? You suddenly collapsed back there. Are you okay now?"
Aamir touched his chest briefly, remembering the sharp, burning pain that had struck him during the earlier chaos—how his vision blurred and his body felt like it was tearing apart from the inside.
"I don’t know exactly," he replied, voice calm but unsure. "But when I hit the ground... something changed. I think I broke through during the pain. I can feel it now—my body, my mind. Everything’s different. I’m at Legend-Level."
"He cannot tell them that he has evolved and is no longer human."
Raj’s eyes widened. "Seriously?! Just like that?"
"I didn’t do anything," Aamir said, tried to look puzzled. "It just... happened."
Before Raj could ask more, a spatial mage appeared in a flash of blue runes and raised his voice.
"Students of Aryavrata! The portal to your homeland is ready."
Someone raised a hand. "Sir, what about our luggage?"
The mage smiled. "No need to worry. Your belongings will be safely transported and delivered directly to your dormitories. Please proceed through the portal."
One by one, the students began stepping through.
Kunal and Hyun Ji-won approached the glowing portal together—until a sudden presence halted them.
King Hyun Min-jae appeared calmly in front of them.
Kunal tensed, instantly alert.
"If you’re here to take Ji-won back, I understand," Kunal said firmly. "But whether you trust me or not... I’ll protect her with my life."
Hyun Min-jae met his gaze, then gave a rare nod of approval.
"That’s not why I’m here."
He extended a sealed, jet-black package wrapped in enchanted threads and handed it to Kunal.
"Take this. But don’t open it—not until you have no other choice. Only then will it serve its purpose."
Kunal silently accepted it, his grip tightening around the mysterious item.
Without another word, he and Ji-won stepped through the portal.
The light consumed them—and so, Aryavrata’s chosen returned home, unknowingly marching toward a war that would decide the fate of nations.
Aamir and his friends exited the portal, stepping into the familiar grounds of Nalanda’s campus. The air was heavy—not with fear, but with the anticipation of what was to come.
Soon after all thirteen students of Nalanda returned, Haider Ali stepped through the portal. Without wasting a moment, he raised his hand, and a pulse of energy surged around him. His voice, amplified by his aura, echoed across the campus:
"All students of Aryavrata, report to the central grounds immediately!"
Within minutes, every student and teacher assembled in the heart of the campus. Whispers filled the air—some filled with awe, others with unease.
The leaders of each guild stood at the front. Among them was Kaveri, her eyes sharp with resolve. She stepped forward, looking straight into Haider’s eyes.
"So... it’s finally beginning."
Haider met her gaze and gave a subtle nod.
Then he turned to the crowd, his voice steady, powerful.
"As of now, Aryavrata has officially declared war against Calonia."
Gasps rippled through the gathered students.
"This is not just about revenge," he continued, "but justice. For those they tried to kill. For those who may fall if we remain silent."
He paused, scanning the young faces before him—warriors in the making.
"Prepare yourselves. In five days, we march. The fate of Aryavrata—and of our future—rests on what we do next."
Every student standing in the campus felt their minds racing. The sudden shift—from a tournament to a declaration of war—was too overwhelming to process. Confusion, fear, and disbelief swirled in their hearts.
But then, Haider Ali’s voice rang out again, firm and commanding:
"Do not fear."
His eyes scanned the crowd, his presence like a wall of strength holding everything together.
"We will not lose to a nation like Calonia. Not now. Not ever. So hold yourselves together."
He raised a hand, calming the growing unease.
"This war is not yours to fight—students will not be deployed. Your duty is to train, learn, and grow stronger. Leave the battlefield to us."
The energy in his words struck deep, and slowly, students straightened their backs, drawing quiet strength from his confidence.
"You were chosen for Nalanda because you’re the best this nation has. Now prove that we chose right."
Silence lingered... until one voice from the back yelled, "For Aryavrata!"
And then another, and another—until the campus echoed with unified chants, their fear now replaced with fire.
