I Have A Baby From My Ex-Husband's Enemy-Chapter 77: Problem With Him Will Be Solved?
Two months have passed since Vin kidnapped me, I still vividly remember the incident that really scared me for as long as I knew him. I no longer recognized him, who had changed so completely that I felt that the Vin I once knew was dead.
My ex-husband had died after I left that house. And I never saw him the same way again.
At first I thought, is there no other way to get me away from him? Would I be stuck with him forever?
Even when Carmelia was three months old, there was still no light on our divorce, even though Sean and I had put so much into our marriage.
We had almost lost hope, but that was until one day Sean came home with a happy-looking face walking towards me.
"Odelia! We got it! We finally got justice!" he said excitedly.
I’d never seen him that excited, but if he got like that, it had to be a very good thing, right?
"What’s wrong, Sean? What did we get?" I asked, curious.
He handed me a business card and it looked like it was the business card of a lawyer named Luke Myron. Wait... I seem to be familiar with this name...
"Luke Myron? Oh! You mean the lawyer known for being picky in choosing clients?"
Sean nodded his head. "Right, he’s willing to accept our case to prosecute that bastard Percy. He’s got some things that could incriminate him!"
I didn’t expect that Luke Myron’s lawyer would accept it. He was like a lawyer who was famous for being very picky in accepting clients, but their cases always won in his hands.
Even his clients were mostly from poor and weak families who fought against people with power. He was never afraid to fight them, probably because Myron’s name was also very big in Zondalia.
"Oh my, we finally have hope of winning. I’m so happy, I didn’t expect this to happen," I said, hugging Sean.
If it’s like this, I feel so relieved. I never thought this day would come.
"He’s coming here tomorrow to talk to you in person. He says that even if we don’t have post-mortem evidence, Percy’s kidnapping is still illegal, especially since he r*ped you. He wants me to find the people who have kidnapped you and see the details of the incoming payments related to Percy for evidence," he explained to me.
That evidence would be used to incriminate Vin if he had done something illegal even though I was still his wife. After all, I’m still protected by a law that Vin can’t escape.
I knew that the famous lawyer knew what he was supposed to do. No wonder he can win so many cases.
"I’ve made the demands on Percy, I’m sure he got the letter today. We’ll just have to wait to hear back."
He kissed me on the forehead and we couldn’t wait until court day. I had high hopes that this would eventually lead to something good in my and Sean’s lives.
And afterward, I would no longer have to live in the anxiety of worrying that Vin would come and take me again.

"What the hell?! He’s suing me because I brought back my wife? MY ODELIA?!" asked Vincent angrily as he threw the letter sent by the court on the charges Sean had made.
He felt so angry because he felt that what he did was not wrong. What he had done on the day he had ordered some men to take Odelia was natural because she was his.
However, Vincent had forgotten that what he did could be considered a crime and now he was caught up in it.
"I heard they hired a pretty famous lawyer. If it’s like this, won’t it be dangerous if you lose? I’m sure the court wants you to sign the divorce papers and get a restraining order," his secretary said.
Vincent knew it was going to happen and he certainly wasn’t going to let it slide. He would pay whatever court fees were available in order to win and bring Odelia back.
"If I win, Odelia will come back to me and I’ll make that restraining order between her and that damn Osbert! I’ll make sure it stays in place forever," he said in exasperation.
He then ordered Neil to find the best lawyer in Zondalia to handle his case. He would pay very handsomely if the lawyer was able to help him win the case so that Sean was imprisoned on the basis of having hidden and brainwashed Odelia to leave him.
"Yes sir!" Neil left his boss’s office.
The blond man sat in his chair feeling upset and wanting to get everything over with as soon as possible so that Odelia could return to him.
He also considered the good name of his company because if he lost this case, his good name would also be tainted because the media would definitely report it. Given that Percy’s name was also quite big, so was Osbert’s although not as big as the Percy Family.
"I have to stop him, I have to bring my Odelia back. Osbert has kidnapped her, taken her away from me. Now that mother and Alice are gone, it’s time to take back what should still be mine."
He loosened his tie in frustration as he let out a rough sigh.
"You’ll see, Osbert. You will pay for this!"
Two weeks later, the trial finally got underway. It was the Osbert family versus the Percy family. Each of them was already sitting in their seats as they waited for the judge and others to arrive.
"Apparently you have the courage to sue me, Osbert. Are you blind to the fact that you are the guilty party in this case? None of this would have happened if you hadn’t started it in the first place," Vincent said as he straightened his tie.
"I know what I’m doing, so there’s no need for you to say much about it. If you’re really worried about losing, you might as well back off without embarrassing yourself here," Sean replied.
That answer made Vincent feel not happy at all. Moreover, Megan spoke up while listening to the two of them.
"It’s clear Odelia doesn’t want to be with you anymore, but you keep pushing her. That alone is a crime. What a strange man," she quipped.
"You!"
Before long the judge and the others arrived, they sat in their respective chairs and discussed for a moment before finally turning on the microphone.
"Alright, let’s begin."
