Chapter 1433: Aunt, Father

"Hurry up and call them!"

Ye Guan was on the verge of losing it. Fan Zhaodi was simply too arrogant.

He had never seen someone so audacious. She isn't even afraid of my aunt? Had she forgotten how my aunt had disciplined her in the past? How dare she!

"Fan Zhaodi, I'm really going to call her!" Ye Guan exclaimed.

"Go ahead," Fan Zhaodi replied indifferently, "I'm waiting."

Upon hearing that, Ye Guan decisively shouted, "Aunt!"

There was no response.

Ye Guan's face stiffened.

He looked up at the depths of the starry sky and said, "Aunt?"

There was still no response.

Ye Guan was dumbfounded.

"Father!" he exclaimed, but he still received no reply.

Ye Guan was at a loss for words.

Fan Zhaodi looked at Ye Guan. Her face was covered in a layer of frost, and her presence emanated a chilling pressure. "You're a good-for-nothing who only knows how to flirt with women. Don't you think you deserve a beating?"

Ye Guan revealed an incredulous face at that.

"Fan Zhaodi, what are you talking about? You—"

Before he could finish, Fan Zhaodi reached out toward Sui Gujin. Seeing that, Ye Guan didn't hesitate and turned into a streak of sword light that rushed in front of Sui Gujin.

He slashed down with his sword and activated the power of his three bloodlines.

Facing the terrifying Fan Zhaodi, he dared not be careless in the slightest. Ye Guan's attack managed to stop Fan Zhaodi's attack dead in its tracks, but his arms cracked open as a result, and blood oozed out of the wound, creating a gory sight.

The attack was overwhelmingly powerful.

Ye Guan was both shocked and terrified. Had she grown even stronger?

He turned to Sui Gujin and barked, "Leave now! Go and get reinforcements!"

Sui Gujin glanced at Fan Zhaodi in the distance.

Swoosh!

Fan Zhaodi vanished into thin air.

Ye Guan's pupils shrank sharply, and he felt as if an entire star field was crashing down on him, suffocating him.

There was no way to retreat, as Sui Gujin was right behind him. Taking a deep breath, he became one with his sword and pressed forward with all his strength. Countless streaks of sword intent burst out of him, allowing him to perform a powerful sword slash.

Despite his sword slash being empowered by three bloodlines, he couldn't withstand Fan Zhaodi's attack. His sword intent and bloodlines were suppressed.

Fan Zhaodi's Evil had grown countless times stronger.

Ye Guan turned to Sui Gujin and saw that she was still standing there.

"Why are you still here?!" Ye Guan roared.

Sui Gujin looked away. "You're unbelievably stupid."

Ye Guan was dumbfounded.

Realizing that Ye Guan truly cared about Sui Gujin, Fan Zhaodi's eyes burned with fury. She raised her fist and punched forward.

Boom!

Ye Guan's bloodlines and sword intent were shattered. The attack sent both him and Sui Gujin flying away. When they finally came to a stop, Ye Guan's fleshly body was torn apart, and he was soaked in his own blood.

He fell into a daze.

Seeing the injuries on Ye Guan, Fan Zhaodi froze. She looked up at the distant starry sky, and her brows furrowed slightly. After a moment, she cast a cold gaze at Ye Guan and raised her fist. "Train properly, or I'll beat you up again next time."

After saying that, she glanced coldly at Sui Gujin and disappeared into the depths of the starry sky.

Watching her leave, Ye Guan finally let out a sigh of relief. The pressure she exerted on him was simply too overwhelming. Fan Zhaodi... she was most likely at the Domain Lord Realm by now.

Ye Guan was numb. How come she's powering up so quickly? That doesn't make any sense! And what she said just now was weird, too.

Not dwelling on it, he sprawled out and chuckled bitterly upon realizing the extent of his injuries.

Sui Gujin stared deeply at the distant starry sky, and then she stared at Ye Guan. Seeing his miserable state, she remained silent.

Ye Guan suddenly thought of something and sat up. "We need to leave now."

Sui Gujin replied, "Heal yourself first."

Ye Guan shook his head. "She might come back here."

Sui Gujin insisted, saying, "Heal yourself first."

Ye Guan looked at her, and she stared right back at him, leaving no room for argument.

"These injuries are nothing," said Ye Guan. He was genuinely afraid that Fan Zhaodi would return to finish them off.

Sui Gujin opened her palm, revealing a pill. "Take it."

Instead of using his hands, Ye Guan opened his mouth.

Sui Gujin grabbed him by the chin and shoved the pill inside his mouth.

Ye Guan was speechless.

He didn't know what kind of pill it was, but it was an amazing medicinal pill. In no time, he recovered completely.

Ye Guan said, "Let's go!"

Sui Gujin suddenly asked, "Where are we?"

Ye Guan hesitated slightly. "I don't know."

Sui Gujin turned to him without speaking.

Earlier, when they traveled through space, their target destination was the Old Lands, but they somehow ended up in a completely different place. Clearly, someone wanted to extend their time together a bit longer.

Sui Gujin's gaze grew colder, but when she saw the dried blood on the corner of Ye Guan's lips, she was reminded of how desperate he was to protect her earlier. She withdrew her gaze and said, "Let's go."

"Alright." Ye Guan immediately nodded. He stepped forward and wrapped his arm around her waist.

Swoosh!

The two disappeared into thin air.

Inside the spacetime tunnel, the two remained in close contact, and neither of them said anything.

After an unknown amount of time, they finally returned to the Old Lands.

Sui Gujin turned around and walked away as soon as they arrived.

Meanwhile, Ye Guan went straight to the Divine Martial Arena to resume his intense training.

Fan Zhaodi was back, and she was even stronger than before.

The pressure was immense.

To save time, he decided to move the Divine Martial Arena into the tiny pagoda. After obtaining Sui Gujin's approval, he transferred the arena into the pagoda. In the void, Ye Guan sat cross-legged, and the Qingxuan Sword hovered before him.

Ye Guan asked, "Little Soul, what do you think?"

Little Soul replied in a deep voice, "Master, Fan Zhaodi's Evil has become completely different from before. She must have absorbed an unimaginable amount of Evil... She is now an unfathomable expert."

Ye Guan nodded.

The battle earlier gave Ye Guan some clues about Fan Zhaodi's terrifying strength.

Little Soul added, "Master, if you make use of the power of faith, you can definitely match her."

The power of faith.... Ye Guan still had one final trump card, his faith power. His faith power was increasing rapidly. The people with faith in him were becoming stronger, strengthening his Dao of Order.

And with the Qingxuan Sword, its might would surely be multiplied. However, that was his last resort. Unless he was truly desperate, he wouldn't use it lightly.

Training... Ye Guan set aside his thoughts and said, "Little Soul, do you think I can merge my three bloodlines?"

Little Soul was shocked. "Merge them?"

Ye Guan nodded.

Little Soul said in a serious tone, "The Phoenix Emperor Bloodline is manageable, but the Mad Demon Bloodline and Mortal Bloodline are going to be tricky to handle."

The Phoenix Emperor Bloodline had no idea what to say.

Ye Guan muttered, "I want to give it a try."

The three bloodlines within him came from three different sources, so they had always remained separate and independent. If he somehow managed to fuse them, they would become very terrifying.

Ye Guan started with the Mad Demon Bloodline. Ever since he chose to stop resisting it, he had grown quite close to this bloodline. Now, he wanted these bloodlines to work together!

In the short term, he had no way to enhance either the Mad Demon Bloodline or the Mortal Bloodline. Therefore, his only option was to take an alternative approach, forcing them to cooperate and undergo a qualitative transformation.

In the days that followed, Ye Guan spent his time either battling the ancestors of the Suiming Civilization with reckless abandon or trying to convince his two bloodlines to work together..

Sui Gujin was inside the Strategist Pavilion, and there was a bronze seal before her—the Universe Ruler Seal.

Just then, a shadowy figure appeared before her and knelt. "Pavilion Master, that woman is too powerful. Our people simply cannot track her down..."

Sui Gujin calmly said, "It's not your fault."

The shadowy figure let out a sigh of relief.

Sui Gujin called out, "Sky."

Swoosh!

A lady in a mecha armor appeared inside the pavilion.

Sui Gujin said, "The Ruler Divine Temple will soon emerge, and powerful experts will appear everywhere. Deploy all our agents—the Earth and Human teams will be under your command."

The lady in mecha armor nodded. "Understood."

Sui Gujin added, "Come out."

Just then, two men suddenly appeared in the pavilion.

Seeing them, the lady in mecha armor was slightly surprised; these two were the intelligence heads of the Eternal Civilization and the Old Lands Civilization.

What were they doing here?

Sui Gujin said, "From now on, the intelligence networks of the Old Lands Civilization, the Eternal Civilization, and the Suiming Civilization will be shared until the struggle for the Great Dao has ended."

Then, she turned to the lady in mecha armor. "They are also under your command. You are now in charge of intelligence. I have only one demand—monitor the vast expanse. If any new force emerges, I want to know everything there is to know about it."

The lady in mecha armor bowed deeply. "Understood."

Sui Gujin said, "You may leave."

The lady in mecha armor bowed again before silently leaving. The other two intelligence heads also bowed deeply before retreating.

Sui Gujin slowly closed her eyes. "Shadow."

The moment she spoke, a shadow drifted into the room, gradually materializing into a lady dressed in a black robe. She held a sheathed longsword in her right hand.

Sui Gujin said, "Report."

The lady made her report. As the report went on, Sui Gujin's delicate brows furrowed. After a while, her gaze grew cold. "As expected, they haven't given up yet."

The black-robed lady remained silent.

Sui Gujin suddenly asked, "Have you fought Fan Zhaodi?"

The black-robed lady nodded. "Yes."

"How did it go?"

"A sixty-forty split; she had the upper hand."

Sui Gujin did not respond.

The black-robed lady added, "She didn't go all out."

Pausing briefly, she continued, "Neither did I."

Sui Gujin said, "For now, she is not an enemy. No need to track her anymore."

The black-robed lady nodded.

Sui Gujin ordered, "You may go."

The black-robed lady hesitated before saying, "He doesn't have the ability to protect you. Next time, don't be alone with him."

Sui Gujin looked at her and simply said, "Leave."

The black-robed lady said no more. She bowed slightly and silently retreated.

Left all alone, Sui Gujin retrieved an ancient book containing the Guanxuan Laws.

She carefully flipped through it, studying every clause and provision. She knew the Old Lands' legal system inside and out, so she knew its strengths and its flaws as well. Combined with her extensive knowledge of history and strategy, no one was more suitable than her when it came to altering the Guanxuan Laws.
