Chapter 514: Chapter 514: War Alliance Activity

Ever since the creation of the guild, Song Jian had never participated in any guild events, so much so that many new guild members have not met him even once till now.

If it were not because his name constantly hanging under the guild leader’s title in the list of guild members, many players would probably mistake the guild as a scam.

Sun Li, in order to convene the guild members, looked at Song Jian with a somewhat mocking smile as he walked off, “So the guild leader finally decided to participate in a guild event?”

“Whatever the guild needs me to do in the future, just let me know.” Song Jian said with a smile.

Wang Qi nodded, he knew well that Song Jian often liked to go leveling in dangerous areas where normal players could not venture into, making it impossible for them to see him.

However, Wang Qi understood that the guild could function without anyone, except they can’t be without Song Jian.

Half an hour later, more than 90% of the guild members gathered at Wang Qi’s call, totaling thirty-one people.

All of them had gathered in an open area to the left of the guild’s territory. A crowd of more than thirty people stood in a disorderly manner, curiously observing Song Jian, and carried out discussions among themselves.

Wang Qi reported the situation to Song Jian.

“Two members are in dungeons, one member can’t be contacted temporarily, the rest are all here.” Wang Qi laughed, “This is the largest gathering we had for a guild event since I became the Vice Alliance Leader.”

When Wang Qi usually organizes events, at most only a dozen or so people would come, of whom three or four would be close friends.

Generally, the guild activities include hunting powerful bosses which are very dangerous, hence many people weren’t willing to participate.

However, upon hearing that the guild leader would be participating today, many people were intrigued. Moreover, since the leader was present, the difficulty of the boss should not be too high; therefore, almost all guild members turned up. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓

“Hey, since I joined the guild, I haven’t seen the guild leader even once.” A member who was looking at Song Jian murmured under his breath.

“Exactly, this is the number one in the glory rankings, he doesn’t look that impressive!”

“Not impressive? You all should take a close look at his gear and ring before you speak, they’re not bad. Don’t disgrace yourselves…”

“Gear? He turned off the special effect of his gear, how do we see it?”

“Saying you’re dumb is really not wronging you, you can’t even see the design and texture of the gear? Can common gear be compared to silver or gold quality gear?”

“Gold quality gear? Are you saying he has gold quality gear on him?”

“Very likely, and not only one piece…”

The crowd was buzzing with chatter, it was just like a market place, without any form of discipline.

But there was nothing that could be done, these people were all ordinary folks in reality. Those who could survive until now in the game all had some skills. If Song Jian’s strength were a bit weaker, he might not have been able to keep them in check.

“With these types of players, regardless of how many there are, they can’t possibly defeat an army…” Song Jian muttered to himself a bit disappointedly in his heart. He had once encountered people from the Coastal Military Zone, and their meticulously disciplined appearance left a deep impression on Song Jian.

A strategist from the military had previously invited him to join the Coastal Military Zone with the position of a junior officer, but Song Jian felt that his rank was too low and till now, he has not been in contact with them.

“Guild leader, would you like to say something to everyone?” Wang Qi asked Song Jian in a low voice beside him.

“Forget it, let’s head straight to the boss.” Song Jian shook his head. Originally, he was full of expectations for the guild members, but after observing them, they were just undisciplined ragtag individuals which resulted in him losing interest.

“Sun Li, come out here quickly, tell us where to go. If we don’t hurry, the boss will be snatched away by others.” Wang Qi shouted loudly.

“Here, here, it’s at the Songhui Intersection. Everyone should be more cautious, this is a level 25 monster zone…” Sun Li shouted loudly.

Most of the guild members have reached level 20 or above now, but a lot of them have never been to a level 20 monster zone. They generally stayed in the level 15 monster zone to grind, where it was not too dangerous even in unforeseen situations.

“Hey, I say, Sun Li, you’re quite something, dare to venture into a level 25 monster zone?” someone exclaimed in surprise.

“He’s a thief, capable of becoming invisible. He can easily escape from the monsters even if they discover him.”

“Right, moreover, the higher the level of the monster zone, the higher the chance to find high-quality items. Ah, why didn’t I think of this before, if I knew earlier I would have been a thief too!”

A group of people chatted and laughed as they headed towards the level 25 monster zone. Even though they have never been there, they roughly knew the location.

Song Jian followed behind and he appreciated the way these players formed a subconscious formation as they moved along. Tanks walked along the outer circle, to protect the magic users in the middle. The rest of the party also moved to positions suitable for their own classes, impressed, he nodded.

Although they were undisciplined ragtag individuals, each of them was meticulously selected by Wang Qi. All of them had notable strengths, and their team coordination was better than most.

The team soon arrived at the location where Sun Li discovered the level 25 boss at the Songhui Intersection;

On the road, there was a large group of level 20 monsters wandering around. These creatures bent their backs stooped and were short, resembling 13 or 14 year old zombies. They had a stiff grey shell on their back and crystalline gemstones shimmered from the joints of their bodies.

“These, these small monsters are all level 20 elites!” Looking at these monsters, some members felt intimidated. Forget about level 20 elite monsters, even regular level 20 monsters were not something many in the guild had slayed before.

“There are so many…” someone swallowed nervously while fear could be seen on their faces.

The number of monsters in front of them was at least fifty or sixty, occupying the entire street. If they were to be surrounded, they would not even have a chance to escape.

“Eh, why did they all run to the street, when I last saw them they were all hiding in the garage over there… don’t they run out…?” Sun Li said with some confusion.

“Garage? Do you mean the one in front over there?” Wang Qi pointed at a three-story building in the distance and asked.

“Yes, that’s the one…” Sun Li answered.

Wang Qi frowned slightly. He had organized hunts several times before, but they were all against level ten elites. He had never seen so many small monsters.

“Even if we manage to defeat these monsters, the losses will be huge, and we might even lose lives here…” Wang Qi thought to himself, deciding to give up this activity.

“Guild leader, maybe we should…” Wang Qi said hesitantly.

“Isn’t it good that the small monsters are out? We don’t need to lead them out. Just let the range attackers lure them one by one!” Song Jian ordered immediately.

“This, all right then.” Wang Qi reluctantly nodded and started to arrange the formation.
