I Inherited Trillions, Now What?-Chapter 75: AUTHORS GRATITUDE (DON’T READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO AS ITS NOT PART OF THE BOOK)
In the world of Trivillons, a man stood in his workshop, his hands trembling as he carefully brought out his life’s masterpiece. His eyes widened with fervor, and an uncontainable smile spread across his face. It was perfection. David had poured every ounce of his energy into this creation, immortalizing his life’s work for generations to come.
A hundred years later, that same masterpiece had become the most coveted prize, awarded only to the greatest warrior of each generation. In this era, regarded as the greatest of all time, the battles were legendary. The prize was to be decided in an all-out brawl—a battle royale that would determine the strongest of them all.
In one corner of the chaotic arena, two warriors who should have been sworn enemies were huddled together, trembling with fear. Arrogance had brought them here; they had dared to challenge the undisputed number one of their generation, TW_MIRAGE. Now, as they watched him stride toward them with calm confidence, one of them fainted on the spot, foam bubbling at his mouth.
They had heard the tales of TW_MIRAGE—his effortless victories, his unshakable demeanor. Yet, blinded by their egos as champions of their own countries, they had underestimated him. He had defeated them with a mere wave of his hand, a casual display of the power that set him apart.
As TW_MIRAGE approached to finish what he started, he suddenly paused. His gaze shifted, locking onto someone in the distance. "You," he said, his voice steady but sharp.
His mind flashed back to his emperor’s warning:
"TW_MIRAGE, I know you are the greatest to have ever lived, but this tournament is no joke. Others have been blessed beyond reason in this generation. Visine Ant, Velsharoon, TheRace, Sceptic... formidable warriors, each of them. But there is one you must truly be wary of. From the Kingdom of Isle comes sugar_danny, whose gifts are said to rival even yours."
The memory sent a chill through him. Now, face to face with sugar_danny, TW_MIRAGE felt the weight of the emperor’s words. The air around them was charged with pressure as the two titans stood still, measuring each other.

And then, with no signal, they moved.
In the blink of an eye, they vanished, reappearing mid-air in a violent clash. Sugar_danny’s twin blades gleamed as they sliced upward in a perfect arc. TW_MIRAGE, unfazed, met the attack with his legendary sword, slashing downward with a smile etched across his face.
The arena trembled. This was no ordinary battle—it was a clash of legends.

Barbara’s breath escaped in a rush of relief, a wave of emotions washing over her. Excitement at securing her first-ever job mingled with triumph at proving herself capable. And in the back of her mind, she reveled in the prospect of silencing her father’s constant criticism.
As Hennessy extended a congratulatory handshake, Barbara allowed herself a genuine smile, the tension in her shoulders easing. Miranda handed her a piece of paper with an address, adding, "Your new employers will handle the details of your contract. You’re to report to this location next Monday."
Barbara nodded, curiosity sparking as she accepted the paper. The thought of meeting the enigmatic client—someone with both immense wealth and extravagant tastes—filled her with anticipation.
Back on the bustling street, Barbara smiled warmly at Hennessy. "It really was something. What about you? Why did they ask you to stay behind?"
Hennessy’s easy grin returned. "They said they were impressed with my skills and recommended me for another position."
Barbara’s face lit up. "That’s amazing! Congratulations!"
Hennessy chuckled, but his expression grew thoughtful. "I have to ask—what made you choose the Lamborghini? I figured the Rolls would be the obvious choice for someone with that level of resources."
Barbara’s smile turned knowing. "It was the description," she replied.
Hennessy tilted his head. "What do you mean?"
"Didn’t you notice? Whenever they talked about the client, they referred to his representative. Even they don’t seem to interact with him directly. That struck me as either eccentricity or laser-focused professionalism. Then, when they mentioned his recent fascination with cars, I figured he’d go for something thrilling. The Lamborghini felt like the perfect choice."
Hennessy nodded, impressed. "You’re sharp, Barbara."
"Thanks," she said with a grin. "It was nice meeting you, Hennessy."
"Likewise," he replied, offering a warm handshake before they parted ways.
As Barbara settled into a cab, she unfolded the paper Miranda had given her. Her eyes scanned the address. "A dock?" she muttered, her brow furrowing in confusion. She shrugged, inputting the location into her phone, a mix of curiosity and excitement bubbling within her.
Meanwhile, at home, two people were even more thrilled than Barbara. Her father sat with a knowing smile, his demeanor suggesting he knew something she didn’t. Her husband, on the other hand, was practically buzzing with excitement, already imagining the wealth and prestige her new job would bring—and remembering a promise her father had once made.
Well, for those of you who read this, this was the other version of the previous chapter I wrote. Fun fact: I always write at least two versions of the same chapter and then pick the one I like best.
