I Just Want to Cultivate Quietly and Farm-Chapter 296 - 193: Flood Dragon Remains 2
The grades of these Spiritual Artifacts vary, some with extremely strong Spirit Light, others on the verge of collapsing, their forms, colors, and tiers vary, numbering in the thousands or even tens of thousands, either piled into small mountains or scattered all around.
In addition, there was a large amount of gold and gemstones, reflecting five-colored Spiritual Light, depicting a vibrant scene within the cave.
Walking through the dazzling passage of the cave, Li Mu recalled some rumors.
In the rumors, dragons are lustful, wanton, and fond of shiny, glittering objects. Whether it’s the brilliance of gold and gems or light from Magical Artifacts, they are greatly beloved, and dragons love to collect them in caves.
It seems the rumors are true!
At present, this Two-Horned Cyan Moon Flood Dragon might not be a True Dragon, but it likely is a descendant of the Dragon Race, possessing a trace of the True Dragon Bloodline and inheriting the True Dragon’s penchant for amassing wealth and collecting treasures.
Li Mu gradually realized that the Spiritual Artifacts within the cave have existed for quite some time, and under the sea, they corroded more quickly than those on land.
With a sweep of his Divine Sense, Li Mu roughly estimated that there were thousands, even tens of thousands of Spiritual Artifacts within the cave, yet the Spirit Light of most of them was extremely weak, with their Spiritual Energy greatly diminished, holding no value for restoration.
He found hundreds of well-preserved Tier Three and Tier Four Spiritual Artifacts, as well as twelve Tier Five Spiritual Artifacts. With a sweep of his Divine Sense and a wave of his hand, Li Mu directly collected them.
Items more precious than Spiritual Artifacts were naturally the high-tier Spirit Medicine emitting a blue glow around the cave walls, and various high-tier Refining Materials.
Covering it with his Divine Sense and spreading his Spiritual Power, he collected numerous Spirit Grass and Spirit Medicine with high Medicinal Age, along with some unobtrusive high-tier Refining Materials, into his Nine Treasures Spirit Pearl, like a locust swarm, sweeping all valuable Spiritual Objects along the path.
As Li Mu proceeded, he picked up items while his Water Combat Puppet group swam ahead to scout the way.
The cave passage was extremely deep, and with the sweep of his Divine Sense, Li Mu discovered that this seemingly chaotic cave system was actually meticulously modified.
Not only was there an area resembling a cultivation ground, but also a vast living cave dwelling, alongside areas akin to sea Spirit Plant cultivation sites.
This discovery delighted Li Mu immensely. It seemed he had found the right place; this underwater cave dwelling was likely the lair of the Two-Horned Cyan Moon Flood Dragon.
Li Mu carefully surveyed everything without overlooking any details, finding numerous human skeletal remains that had been gnawed upon, as well as other types of Demon Beast bones, with a lot of Low-Tier Spiritual Artifacts, the majority of which had already been corroded.
There was also an abundance of Refining Materials, but most were tainted by Earth Yin Evil Qi. Many Tier Four and Tier Five Refining Materials had lost their Spirituality and instead gathered impure Yin Fiend, suitable for refining into Demon Artifacts.
Seeing this scene, Li Mu was heartbroken.
So many Refining Materials, amounting to hundreds of thousands of pounds, almost all wasted! Such a pity!
Li Mu continued to proceed deeper into the passage and discovered more human skeletal remains, with the number of Sea Demon bones gradually increasing.
Frowning deeply, Li Mu suddenly sensed something was amiss. Among the numerous corpses, he picked a relatively newly corroded Demon Beast Bone and examined it closely in his hand.
This Demon Beast Bone was evidently not eaten long ago. Rekindling the Qilin within him, the appearance of this Demon Remains confirmed that he was getting closer to the residence of the Two-Horned Cyan Moon Flood Dragon.
Abandoning the Low-Tier Spiritual Artifacts, Li Mu accelerated his flight, hastening towards the end of the cave passage.
Halfway through his progress, Li Mu noticed that the entrance ahead was piled high with a multitude of Sea Demon and human remains, so numerous that it almost blocked the cave entrance, which was four to five fathoms wide.
With a sweep of his Divine Sense, Li Mu discovered scores of differently shaped Storage Bracelets and Storage Rings within the pile of bones.
With a wave of his large hand, Li Mu collected each of those Storage Bracelets and Storage Rings with ease.
As he continued to loot the spoils, Li Mu quickly reached the end of the cave—a circular Array Platform filled with skeletal remains, located at the center of the cave, with some scaly items at the base emitting a ghostly cyan light.
Picking up a piece, Li Mu realized it was a scale the size of a human head, with extremely sharp edges, a cool touch, containing threads of Spiritual Qi, and incredibly tough.
Utilizing the Innate Divine Techniques—Recognize Ten Thousand Spirits, Li Mu gathered information about the scale, realizing it had fallen from the Two-Horned Cyan Moon Flood Dragon.
With this scale, he could use a Tracking Array to sense the location of the Two-Horned Cyan Moon Flood Dragon.
All around were scattered many Flood Dragon Scales, which were excellent Refining Materials suitable for crafting high-tier Defense Artifacts. Li Mu collected them all.
Just as Li Mu lamented not having found the Flood Dragon Bone within the cave dwelling, a terrifying Evil Qi suddenly emanated from nowhere. As the Earth Yin Evil Qi spread, the temperature within the entire underwater cave dwelling sharply dropped, with ice forming on the seawater.
This Evil Qi stained the surrounding seawater a dark red color, mixed with deep-seated resentment.
The Eight-Clawed Demon King’s Essence Soul clutched in Li Mu’s hand became terrified and struggled fiercely.
Before long, the Eight-Clawed Demon King’s Essence Soul, soaked in the dark red seawater, became exceptionally violent, even attempting to attack Li Mu.
This situation made Li Mu frown involuntarily. He threw the Demon Beast Essence Soul into the Soul Absorption Bottle, immediately activating the Five Elements Spirit Mountain to resist the surrounding Evil Qi, calming his mind, and avoiding being affected by the resentment carried within the Evil Qi, which could affect his Spiritual Wisdom.
"What is going on here?"
Li Mu couldn’t help but furrow his brows tightly, releasing his Divine Thought, failing to find the source of the Evil Qi, and having no idea where this terrifying Evil Qi was emerging from.
