I Picked the Useless Class… Turns Out It's the Most Broken in the Game-Chapter 71: Fell Inside a Pit.
’I got the thing which I wanted on the first try!? That’s insane.’
He read the entries written on the panel, and a smile curled up on his lips.
’This skill is broken... I flash-step? What else do I even need.’
He muttered. "[Flashstep]"
His body moved at a fast pace, leaving an afterimage behind. But before he could move from the centre.
His body got engulfed by multiple light waves, which were more than before.
Eyes widened as a confused expression covered his face. "W-What?"
Darian moved instantly and appeared right behind Leon as he tried to grab him. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
But before he could, Leon’s body disappeared as if it never existed there in the first place.
"My liege!!" Darian said, voice loud.
He gritted his teeth and stomped his sword into the ground. Huge cracks appeared inside the ground.
Synthia’s body started to get covered in her mana, eyes were getting filled with fury. "I told him not to do anything reckless, now if something happened to him... what’ll I tell big sis Valexeria?" She muttered.
"No, we’ll not let him get in any sort of trouble," Darian said.
Before they could think of doing something else, a loud voice travelled across the chamber.
And right after that, a bunch of people appeared inside the room.
All of them turned their gaze towards the direction from which the voice came.
Several figures stood near the corners of the room, while the massive boxes had been torn open, their contents scattered across the floor.
A strange mana swirled around their bodies, thick and oppressive. Their eyes burned with a deep crimson glow; the only visible part of them was their eyes.
And everything else was hidden beneath pitch-black clothes.
"Who are you people?" Synthia asked, stepping forward as her hands got wrapped under a thick wave of mana.
"Don’t go near them, Synthia..." Cain said.
Her head instantly turned towards him, and she tilted it slightly. "What do you mean by that, little Cain?"
"These aren’t ordinary burglars... they’re undead. And there’s something far worse mixed in... something even my eyes can’t fully comprehend."

"The kid isn’t lying, Dark Mage girl," Darian said, dark mana erupted as he dragged his sword loose.
One of the undead stepped forward. "Give up, you’ll not be able to leave this place."
"And that person, he might already be dead," he said.
Darian directed his sword towards the undead. "I don’t converse with prey."
A vein popped out through the undead’s forehead, lunging right towards Darian.
Darian didn’t waste any time either, leaping in the air as he grabbed the hilt with both hands.
It was a chamber. The floor was entirely covered with a foul liquid, and a dirty stench filled the air. The light inside was dim, barely lighting the room.
Leon was lying inside the liquid and seemed to be lifeless.
His body finally moved, fingers flinched as he raised his hand to cover his nose.
"Where am I?" Leon muttered as he rubbed both of his eyes.
He forced his eyes open, looking around him as he pushed himself back up.
"It stinks in here, and I don’t know where this is coming from."
He leaned in slightly, dipped his finger into the water and observed. "The water seems fine, smell isn’t coming from here."
His eyes closed as he sent his mana through his core. ’Hmm... I still don’t feel the mana of Sylphaine, and it seems like Darian has indulged in a battle.’
A small sigh left through his mouth, raised both of his arms up in the air, stretching them.
"I should find my way out now instead of wasting time." He muttered.
The chamber was completely enclosed; there was just a small, narrow passage beside him through which water flowed endlessly.
His expression darkened as he rubbed his temple slightly. "Do I really have to get wet?" He muttered.
Without wasting any time, he made his way towards the passage. "I don’t have any other choice." He muttered.
He jumped up as he grabbed a handle which was next to the passage.
Pushed his body inside through the small hole, passing through it.
He landed on the floor, and a wet SNAP filled the chamber.
His eyes travelled across the chamber as he scanned it whole.
The chamber was massive. Water still pooled across the ground, but the foul stench had grown thicker, and a bright wave of light shone from the front, hinting that something was there.
He rubbed his chin slightly, walking towards the source of light. "I don’t see any possible outcome if I stay here. It’d be better to move toward that source of light."
The moment he reached there, a huge door was in front of him.
It was slightly open, and light was coming out through the gaps.
When he covered a bit more distance between them, he heard a bunch of murmuring sounds coming from inside that door.
He quickly took cover, slightly peeking through the door.
There were two people, one of them seemed to be old, who wore a white cloak with a huge symbol of an eagle on the back, and a sword rested next to his waist.
And the other one wore a black cloak, covering their appearance.
’That man doesn’t look like a normal person... I can’t fathom his power level.’
’More importantly, I can’t hear them like this...’
"Let your mana flow, flow it inside that room if you want to hear them," Draviel said, voice deep.
’Thanks for the help, Draviel.’
Leon channelled his mana, letting it flow outwards. His mana travelled inside that room.
"You think your family will be able to survive the wrath of the empire?" The man said.
"You’re denying the order of the emperor, how foolish can you even be?"
