I reincarnated as an elf .......and married the yandere villainess.-Chapter 38:Noticed.
Far from the high elf borders, beyond the forests and flowing silver rivers, deep within the dark elf territory, in the halls of her palace, Lilith stopped mid-step without warning.
The warriors behind her also came to a stop, confusion instantly appearing in their eyes.
"Your majesty?"
She didn’t respond. She turned her head slightly to the right as though trying to listen to something.
Her gaze had gone distant almost unfocused something that never happened to her.
Inside her body, she could feel the thin invisible thread that connected him to her that allowed her to know every that was happening to him snapped.
Her breath slightly caught her eyes widening in surprise.
"..No.." the words flowed out of her before she could stop it.
’What in the world’
The thread she had placed on him had broken, separating her from him. It felt as though something had reached out to the thread and forcefully cut it somehow because she couldn’t place him at all.
She felt a coldness settle over her body. Her fingers tightened on her side digging into her skin until blood flowed out.
"What did you do?" She whispered.
’What happened to you?’
The thought passed through her mind. From the small bits she had gotten, she had felt a surge coming from him and in through their connections.
It had felt unnatural something she had never heard or seen in her life.
Multiple elements.
They were fighting in his body. Her eyes widened in surprise as she tried to decipher what in the world was happening.
For a brief moment, something unfamiliar flickered across her face, something much rarer.
Concern.
The soldiers behind her noticed her abnormality and responded according to their training. The general turned to the group and shouted.
"Prepare a unit..." he began.
"NO."
She cut him off with her sharp voice cutting through the hall instantly. They all fell silent and turned to look at her for directions.
She turned and looked at them before her gaze moved to the general.
"I’ll be going by myself. "
She was enveloped by her shadows before they could react and she disappeared from the hall.
The generals and soldiers were left in confusion as rumours began to spread about her sudden disappearance.

Lilith materialised at the edge of the Whispering forest where Atheline had been outside the forbidden forest.
She looked down at the footsteps on the ground that led to the dark line that disappeared into the forbidden forest.
A frown marred her face.
’What in the world were you thinking?’
She crossed the line but the moment she tried to enter the forest, an invisible barrier appeared halting her advances.
Lilith touched the barrier a sharp chuckle escaping her.
"What? Are you also going to stand in my way?"
She sliced through the barrier cutting through it as though she was cutting silk.
The trees parted just like Athelines before and she stepped into the forest. Around her, the trees trembled while branches creaked.
The ground below her felt alive, she could feel the subtle movement below her. Her senses were high as she tried to find him, the tracking spell barely giving her any concrete direction as she tried to find his location.
The forest was resisting her, she could feel it. A few beasts had attacked her along the way but she had killed them with one strike their strength increasing with each forward step.
Her worry grew even more.
’Was he also attacked’
She stepped over a dead oversized corrupt stag deer with sharp horns almost twice its body size and continued forward.
"... you shouldn’t have come here," she murmured to herself.
She continued forward through the mist.
The deeper she went the clearer his presence started to become to her.
She could feel it, the calmness he had always carried with him had been replaced with something unstable.
She could feel the change in elements over and over again. The signs of his presence had already started to show in the environment around her.
Some parts of the forest had frozen, trees had been uprooted with the soil turned over, burnt grounds all over, and the faint signs of crackling lightning on trees could be seen.
It was clear to anyone that he was struggling with whatever power he had stumbled upon.
She shook her head.
"Idiot," she whispered but there was no heat in her words, only tension and genuine worry.
A few steps later, in front of her, she saw his silhouette. Her steps quicken until he becomes more clearly visible.
Atheline was on his knees. His head was lowered, his hair covering parts of his face while his body was trembling slightly. There were traces of blood on his white robes that had eventually gotten dirty, a sight that had never crossed her mind.
The ground around him wasn’t much better, burnt, ice sticking everywhere and the power coming from him was visible to her.
’What a mess’
She came to a stop a few steps from him and for the first time since she entered the forest, she hesitated.
Lilith didn’t know how to even start dealing with this messy Atheline. He seemed foreign though he still carried the usual familiarity despite what he had become.
She took in a deep but quiet breath.
"Atheline." She called out his name softly as though dealing with something fragile.
Atheline flinched.
The reaction was immediate his body had recognised her before his brain could even comprehend who it was.
He slowly looked up and their eyes met.
Silence.
They stared at each other in absolute silence. Lilith was treating him like a wounded animal while Atheline was trying to decipher if she was real or a familiar illusion.
"You..you.." his voice came out rough," you’re here..."
There was only disbelief in his voice like he couldn’t decide how to feel yet.
She didn’t answer.
Her gaze swept over him taking in everything. His changes, instability , and damage.
"What did you do to yourself?" She asked quietly.
