I reincarnated as an elf .......and married the yandere villainess.-Chapter 42:Waking up.
Caius and Yander run through the forest having left the forbidden forest safety.
"Aren’t we late?" Caius said worriedly.
She shook her head.
"A day late won’t make a difference," she answered.
Caius nodded. They ran through the trees for a few minutes before Caius pointed in front of him excitedly.
"Look Yander it’s the exit."
She smiled.
"Didn’t I tell you?"
They stepped out of the forest only to be met with guards lining the edge of the forest.
They both slowed to a halt.
"What’s happening?" He asked in confusion.
Yander shook her head.
The elven warriors gave way and Prince Solaris walked towards him his face marred with worry.
"Caius thank the Light you’re back, have you seen Atheline?" He asked.
Caius eyes widened.
"No your highness. "
"He’s been with me the whole time," Yander interjected.
Solaris nodded. He ran a hand through his hair his frustration visible.
"Lord Atheline is missing?" Caius asked the prince in a raised tone.
Solaris sighed while rubbing the bridge of his nose.
"Yes," he answered curtly and turned around, " we should leave and inform the king and Lord Helmer about this... I’ll be leaving these warriors to wait for him if he comes out."
Caius rushed after the prince worry taking over his initial joy of getting a Mythical sword.
He had wanted to show it to Lord Atheline but now it was thrown to the back of his mind.
Behind him, Yander had a frown on her face. She had thought they were close but it seems not close enough yet. She sighed to herself and walked towards the dark elf group who welcomed her with open arms.

Atheline felt as though he was floating in a dark space. He couldn’t feel himself fully but the darkness stayed even as he moved around and he couldn’t remember what he was even doing.
"Atheline, " a voice broke through the darkness, soft and warm.
"Who is it?" He tried to ask but his voice couldn’t come out.
"Atheline."
It came again. That was when he started to feel it, warmth. It seeped through his back and into his bones as though the surface he was on was boiling.
His body moved but something held him down. The warmth came from whatever was on top of him. His hands moved around slowly as he tried to feel his surroundings.
Soft, bouncy, and surprisingly comfortable.
His eyelashes fluttered.
Darkness greeted him. His eyes moved around as he studied where he was. That was when he noticed it, he was in his room but there seemed to be some additions that he couldn’t understand how they got there.
Dim violet lights hang in the air unsupported not the usual light crystals he was used to.
He inhaled softly.
Not the forest or the hunt he had expected. At that moment, memories snapped back in fragments, hunt, trees, the three in masks, truth, core breaking, powers then....her.
His body tensed instantly.
"You’re awake," the voice came softly.
He looked down at his chest. There she was her head on his chest while half of her body was draped over him.
’So that’s why I can’t move’
She looked so relaxed and comfortable on his chest her finger lightly tapping his chest above his heart.
She looked beautiful even at this moment forcing his heart to skip a beat.
"Your heart is racing."
Her fingers swirled softly on top of his heart as she smiled at him.
"How long?" His voice came out rough.
"A day," she replied," you heal quickly. " 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
Heal?
He tried to sit up before remembering she was lying on his chest.
"Please."
He looked down at her pointedly. She smiled and moved to the side but didn’t sit up as he had expected.
Atheline pushed himself up too fast, the world tilted and he felt a wave of dizziness hit him but he forced himself to sit up anyway.
His hand moved instinctively to his chest, his side then his throat.
No wounds. He didn’t feel comforted by the lack of it.
He turned and looked down at her ready to speak but his words were cut short.
He hadn’t noticed it but she was dressed in a low-cut silk nightdress that had become wrinkled, a sight he himself was left in awe of.
She looked so relaxed and at home unlike how she had always been. Her golden eyes met his and she smirked up at him.
Atheline shook his head slowly to get rid of the distraction.
"Where am I?"
He couldn’t get rid of the feeling that his room was odd especially with the way she looked so relaxed.
"My domain," she said simply.
Atheline’s eyes widened. His gaze snapped to the door. It looked exactly like his but what made it different was the two shadows standing on each side of the door.
"Why does it look like this?" He asked panic seeping into his words.
She smiled and sat up then moved closer to him. She leaned against his back and wrapped her hands around his waist from behind.
"You don’t like it, I made it exactly like your room. You seem to love that design," she whispered against his neck.
A shiver ran down his spine as goosebumps formed on his skin.
’This is nuts’
It was truly coming to him slowly what kind of mess he had really truly gotten himself into.
"Why am I here instead of my room?" He asked calmly ignoring her previous questions.
Her hand softly ran up his chest then back down to his waist before he felt her smile against his skin.
"Because it’s where you belong," she whispered against his skin,"...beside me."
Silence. Atheline didn’t even know how to answer that. His mind was racing as he tried to comprehend everything.
’So I’m basically a prisoner’
Atheline took a deep breath forcing his thoughts into order.
Panic or fear wouldn’t help.
His hand came and covered hers fully stopping her hands from caressing him over and over again.
"Why am I here, Lily? That can’t be the only reason right?" He asked again disbelief still in his system.
He felt her smile.
