I Somehow Became The Almighty Creator, l can create anything: Be Ware-Chapter 107
Same colored tubes seemed to go the same way, some tubes seemed to have loos on them and seemed to be used only by people with the same logo. It was a beautiful chaos.
[Hey buddy, I appreciate the fact that you have never seen such a scene, but you better hurry, the target is almost on the move.]
’Oh shit’ Watts cursed as he immediately used his watch to book the next tube to the Entertainment Area.
...
Exactly 12 minutes later, Watts was standing outside the building Space Gamblers.
And yes, that was the name of the place, yes, it was a casino, no, he didn’t know why the fuck it was named the Space Gamblers, yes he thought it was a stupid name.
Sighing a bit, he straightened his suit and made his way inside right after checking in with the bouncers. And by the way, those guys were chill.
Like for real you would expect such kinds of people to be as cold as winter in Antarctica, at least that’s how they seemed to e in movies.
But these guys, Mike and Ike, were as chill as one could get. He even tipped them a good sum of points for their chillness.
Anyway, Watts was now in business, is target, Margret Antonette, was just a few minutes from moaning under him.
Swaggering in as he straightened his sleeves, he slowly made his way to the exchanged desk.
And as casually as possible bought chips for a few hundred thousand Universal coins earning himself the attention he wanted.
All he wanted was to arouse interest of most influential people in here, enough to make sure they did a background check on him.
And no one would spend three hundred thousand Universal coins on gambling, not even the rich, it was simply too stupid and extravagant for most of them.
With the background checks coming back as blank, most of them would approach him to test the waters or to make connections.
However his target Margret Antonette would not approach, she was way too prideful to do so, all he wanted was to pave a path for him to be able to approach her without being shooed away.
At least now, she would take him to be at least at the same standard as herself, that’s how prideful she was, at least according to Black.
Everything else would depend on his ability to charm her into taking him at her home for a ’one night stand,’ and from there, he would have to make sure he fuck her well to the point of obsession.
A really simple and enjoyable plan. Right?
But fist, is to make a good impression, and since she was obsessed with poker, he would have to win like crazy and try looking dope while doing it.
As they were preparing his chips, he leaned against the desk and slowly passed eyes across the casino. It really was huge to say the least, not to mention this whole floor was only for poker.
He couldn’t really understand the logic for separating every game on its own floor, but he couldn’t say he supported it.
After all its chaos that makes a casino interesting, but anyway ’my home, my rules’ policy ran here, it wasn’t his place to say anything.
And looking across, in the VIP section, there she was, his target, and wow was she a looker.
Watts couldn’t help but smile to himself, he really was becoming a degenerate slowly by slowly. First, it was genocide, and now...
"Here are your chips sir, and this is your VIP card. Enjoy." The dude behind the desk said.
’Wow, right to the point. I like it.’ Watts mused as he nodded at the dude and accepted the chips and the VIP card.
And just as Watts was looking around, two others were checking him out.
"Hey Jane, I think I got you something," a red head said as she pointed to Watts for her friend to see.
Jane turned and looked at where her friend was pointing, and the next moment, her eyes widened.
"Well damn Betts, that is one hot stud."
"I know, right? You think we can score him?"
"Oh fuck yeah, we goddamn will."
Oblivious, Watts slowly made his way to the VIP section, watching others playing seriously with a slight frown on his forehead.
Yes, the problem is, he didn’t know even a little bit of poker, not even the rules. Yeah sure the underground arena was through a casino back in LA, but he never really tried.
He had no interest in gambling, no money to waste and no time for such a game. And now he had to play the very game to get into a gorgeous lady’s pants.
He tried to learn the little he could before he reached the VIP section, but it wasn’t really enough for him to get her attention, so he had to use another way.
And well he just dived into the heads of the people around. Perks of being death, the amount of control he had over souls was terrifying,
And although these people were protecting themselves from each other, they had no protection against death if he really wanted to take a peek at their memories.
And no matter how strong they were, no one found out, and by the time he reached the VIP section, he had already incorporated all the poker knowledge, and he considered himself a professional poker player.
So Watts slowly made his way to the table where is target was.
He could smell the leather, cigars, and the faint tang of money even from over here. The four on the table were leaned over the green felt, cards hidden.
"Foh-tee tow-zand to pleh." the French dude with a moustache said, sliding chips forward without a blink.
"Two hundred thousand," a guy who seemed in his early twenties replied smoothly, "Small money, small minds." He added as he looked at the French dude
Antonette chuckled, her bracelets chiming like wind against glass. "Four hundred. Don’t bore me tonight."
Li, the quietest of them, tapped his fingers once on the table. "Call."
Watts’ lips curved slowly into a smile, there was quite a number of people watching the game from outside the line and with how tense they seemed, the game was going great.
"And there goes the turn all bets placed, here comes the river." the dealer said.
Scanning the crowd one more time, Watts simply waltzed in and under the surprised gazes of all, he approached the seat right next to Antonette.
"You wouldn’t mind me sitting next to you, would you?" he said with a slight smirk
Antonette raised her eyes to look at the intruder, someone who didn’t seem to have fear for her or her status.
Her eyes widened ever so slightly the moment she laid eyes on him, and with a raised eyebrow, she looked at the seat next to her, then back to this stranger.
"Please sir, it is not allowed to sit here if the game is still on." the dealer said.
Watts acted as if he hadn’t heard him and just smiled at Antonette.
"Thanks for the offer," he said to her.
And just like that, he plopped down at the chair like he owned the place, leaning back a bit and shifting until he found what to seemed to be a comfortable position.
At this moment, everybody at the table was looking at him the way you would look at something so ridiculous, something that just shook your world view.
"Did he just... tell me am not dreaming Jane."
"I don’t think it’s possible for us to have the same dream dumbass."
"Holy... shit, how can he just sit besides her like its nothing? You think they know each other?"
"It’s unlikely, the real question however is, why is he not dead yet?"
