I, the Villain, Want to Save Myself, But the Yandere Heroines Disagree-Chapter 83 - A Dream? Turns out It Wasnt a Dream After All (1/3)
After sending Litte off, Orson began his day.
Starting today, preparations for the academy festival were officially underway. The Office and the Coordination Department were busy drafting plans for the event. Although the experiences of previous years provided helpful references, every Student Council aimed to surpass their predecessors, and Orson was no exception.
Now that the troublesome individuals had been dealt with and there were no more obstacles within the academy, everything was progressing smoothly and methodically.
Orson arrived at the classroom. He was running late today, and since Olivia usually arrived earlier, she should have already been there. To his surprise, she was even later than him.
It wasn’t until the last moment, just as the bell rang, that Olivia rushed into the classroom and hurried to her seat beside Orson, visibly flustered.
“Well, this is unexpected. Olivia, you’re actually late today,” Orson remarked with a smile.
Olivia was slightly out of breath. For once, she didn’t immediately retort but instead pulled out a handkerchief to wipe the sweat from her forehead.
A thought suddenly crossed Orson’s mind.
Could it be...?
Although Orson, as a man, hadn’t experienced such things himself, it wasn’t as though he hadn’t heard about them.
Could it be... that time of the month for her?
After thinking it over, Orson decided not to take advantage of her situation by teasing her.
The class passed quickly, and by the end, Olivia seemed to have recovered.
She glanced at Orson beside her and flashed her signature smile.
“Orson, were you thinking something inappropriate during class just now?”
“Not at all,” Orson replied, shaking his head.
“Hmm, but I feel a bit chilly here in my stomach. Orson, why don’t you put your hand here and rub it for me?” Olivia said, winking at him with a teasing tone.
“My suggestion is to drink more hot water,” Orson replied as he stood up. “By the way, if you want to warm your stomach, heating it up is more effective than rubbing it with your hands. I could start a fire for you.”
“I’m off to the restroom.”
With that, Orson walked out of the classroom.
Olivia sat in her seat, her expression shifting as she listened to Orson’s words. She bit her lip in frustration.
What’s with this guy? Is he a century-old tree or something? Can’t he take a hint?
Hot water? A fire? I’ll burn your hair instead!
Perhaps because of her menstrual discomfort, Olivia’s usually calm demeanor was slightly out of control.
Fortunately, she quickly adjusted herself, taking a few deep breaths to steady her breathing.
By the time Orson returned, Olivia had regained her composure. Seeing her normal expression, Orson found it odd.
Even my oblivious comments didn’t seem to annoy Olivia?
Does this mean she really doesn’t like me and has been pretending to lure me into her web of tenderness all along?
During class, Olivia inexplicably leaned closer to Orson.
Feeling her presence so close, Orson found it a bit unsettling and instinctively shifted away.
In a low voice, he asked, “Olivia, what are you up to?”
Updat𝓮d from frёewebnoѵēl.com.
“Hmm?” Olivia looked at him with feigned innocence. “I just couldn’t see the blackboard clearly. Adjusting my angle here makes it much easier to see.”
“I see,” Orson replied, nodding in understanding.
—
After the morning classes ended, as Orson prepared to leave, Olivia called out to him.
“Orson.”
“What is it?”
“Could you help me with something?”
“If it’s about your cold stomach, my suggestion is still to drink more hot water.” Orson said as he started toward the door.
“...” Hearing those words again, Olivia couldn’t hold back. She stood up, reached out, and grabbed Orson by the waist.
“Orson, what you just said is very disrespectful to a girl. I’ve told you this before, haven’t I?”
“Ahem, Olivia, let’s talk this out calmly.” Given that they were still in the classroom and other students hadn’t left yet, Olivia making a scene would definitely attract attention.
So, Orson quickly surrendered.
“My bad, my bad. I won’t say it again.”
“Alright, no more joking around.” Olivia withdrew her hand and said, “I want you to help me talk to Lianca.”
“Me? You want me to talk to her? Olivia, you must be joking,” Orson replied in surprise.
He was at least a little self-aware and knew that Lianca didn’t like him.
Under such circumstances, asking him to comfort Lianca seemed outright absurd.
“But this matter involves you,” Olivia couldn’t help but complain. “Why else do you think I’d specifically ask you?”
If Lianca’s emotional state hadn’t been close to breaking point, Olivia wouldn’t have asked Orson for help.
“Well...” Orson thought for a moment. If the engagement still needed to be carried out, Lianca would be his sister-in-law in the future. He might as well try to help. If it worked, great; if not, so be it.
“Olivia, tell me what’s going on first.”
“Alright.” Olivia nodded and explained everything that had been happening with Lianca recently.
“...So, that’s how it is. Lianca realized the huge gap between herself and you, and her long-held beliefs collapsed in an instant. That’s why her emotions have been so unstable.”
“At first, I could sort of comfort her, but she’s been obsessing over it. Recently, she’s even started skipping classes.”
“So, she’s gone from one extreme to another?” Orson asked, feeling a bit awkward.
Everyone else knew they couldn’t surpass him, so why was Lianca so determined?
“Sigh, I don’t know either,” Olivia said, shaking her head.
As Lianca’s older sister, Olivia had doted on her since childhood. Perhaps it was precisely because of this pampering from herself and their father that Lianca had become the way she was.
“Lianca should still be in the dorm. Let’s head back first.”
“Alright.” Orson nodded. “Just to make it clear, I’ll do my best to help, but if it doesn’t work, don’t blame me.”
“I know.” Olivia nodded.
The two then walked together toward the dormitory.
—
As they left the teaching building, a petite figure followed them, tailing them all the way to the dormitory.
Litte stepped out from the shadows, her expression complicated.
So, in the end, Orson and Olivia are getting closer.
She didn’t know what might happen between them in the room, nor did she have any reason to stop Orson from pursuing happiness.
Even so, Litte remained standing in the alley, unable to let go of her feelings.
She stood there for several more minutes, and just as she was about to turn and leave, a voice called out from behind her.
“Since you’re already here, why not come inside?” Olivia’s tone was playful.
Litte froze, then tried to flee, only for Olivia to grab her by the collar and lift her like a kitten.
“Don’t go. Since Orson is here too, why not join us for a meal? Stay and eat with us before you leave,” Olivia said, smiling at Litte.
Actually, Orson had noticed Litte following them from the start. Although Litte had used magic to conceal her presence, to a Tier 7 mage like Orson, the magical fluctuations were as conspicuous as a signal light in the darkness.
He had informed Olivia about it, and Olivia had told him not to call Litte out immediately but to wait until they got home.
During the walk, Olivia had deliberately moved closer to Orson, even letting their hands occasionally brush. All of these moments were clearly seen by Litte.
“Let me go!” Litte said angrily. “I-I was just passing by!”
She tried to struggle free but couldn’t break out of Olivia’s grasp, who was a Tier 6 warrior.
“Oh?” Hearing this, Olivia’s smile widened. “But Litte, your route today took you far from your usual path. What kind of coincidence would bring you all the way to my dorm?”
“Uh...” Litte racked her brain for an answer before coming up with something. “Lianca didn’t come to class today, and I was a little worried about her. As her deskmate, isn’t it normal for me to check on her?”
“Of course, that makes sense.” Olivia nodded. “In that case, you should definitely come inside.”
With that, Olivia set Litte down and led her into the dormitory.
“Litte, why don’t you sit downstairs for a bit? Orson is upstairs talking to Lianca.”
“What about you, Olivia?” Litte asked.
“Me? I’m going to prepare lunch. What else would we eat?” Olivia smiled as she walked into the kitchen.
As Orson’s future wife, Olivia had already learned many household skills from the servants at home.
After all, she planned to become an all-rounder of domestic skills for Orson. As the saying goes, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.
Litte watched Olivia busying herself in the kitchen and couldn’t help but stand at the door, watching.
“Um... Olivia, can I come in and watch?” Litte asked as she approached her.
“What’s this? Interested in cooking now?”
“Mm.” Litte nodded.
Living in the same dorm as Orson, neither of them cooked, so their kitchen was always unused.
Learning from Olivia now meant she could cook for Orson in the dorm afterward.
That way, she could make Orson accustomed to her cooking...
Maybe she could even sneak something special into the food later, hehe...
“Alright.” Olivia nodded. “I didn’t expect a boy like you to be interested in this sort of thing.”
She reached out to pat Litte’s head, but Litte quickly dodged.
What a joke. Only Orson was allowed to touch her head.
Seeing her hand brushed aside, Olivia didn’t get upset. Instead, she found Litte even more adorable.
If only he could support her marriage to Orson, things would be so much easier.
Unfortunately...
