I Treat You as My Sister, But You Want to be My Wife?!-Chapter 72 - Class Reunion_1
72: Chapter 72 Class Reunion_1
72 -72 Class Reunion_1
“Hmm.” Shen Dong nodded, “The food blogger known as ‘Yao’ who’s really popular now is one of my company’s signed hosts.
Since Yao is so hot, you must have come across him while browsing Doule, right?”
“Yep, yep.” Zhang Lele nodded repeatedly, “I also scrolled through his old videos.
He used to shoot sports car videos, and only recently switched to food videos, and that’s when he really took off.”
Shen Dong said, “That transition was my idea.
So, do you think I’m qualified to give you advice on shooting videos?”
“Definitely, of course.” Zhang Lele nodded eagerly, then swiftly changed the topic, “I saw that his page says it’s Dongyan Cultural Media Company.
So that’s your company…”
At this, her voice trailed off, and she glanced back and forth between Shen Dong and Chen Yuyan.
“What’s up?” Shen Dong asked, somewhat puzzled.
“Cousin, cousin-in-law, you guys are super lovey-dovey, huh?
The company name is a combination of the last character of each of your names.
Isn’t that a bit too showy with your affection?” Zhang Lele said with widened eyes.
“What do you mean ‘showy with affection’?
It’s just a company name,” Shen Dong said with a laugh and a cry.
He did use the last character of their names to form the company name, but it wasn’t meant to flaunt their love.
“I don’t buy it, the name is right there,” Zhang Lele said, unconvinced.
“Believe it or not,” Shen Dong said, shaking his head with a smile.

There was no need for him to explain.
“So, what kind of video are you planning to teach me to shoot?” asked Zhang Lele.
“You’ll find out when the time comes,” Shen Dong replied, playing coy.
“You’re just keeping me in suspense,” Zhang Lele rolled her eyes, but she stopped asking if her cousin chose not to tell her.
Noon.
The family had lunch.
The elders sat in the living room to drink tea and chat.
Shen Dong and Chen Yuyan entered Zhang Lele’s bedroom.
“Cousin, take a seat,” Zhang Lele said cheerfully, pulling out a chair in front of the computer desk.
Shen Dong did not stand on ceremony and sat down.
He booted up the computer, opened a new WORD document, and started typing swiftly.
Fifteen minutes later, Shen Dong stopped typing, stood up, and said, “Alright, this is the script for tomorrow’s video shoot.
Take a good look at it.”
He was familiar with the content of that female host’s videos.
As long as Zhang Lele shot the video, the results would undoubtedly be similar.
Or even possibly better.
Because his cousin was prettier than that female host.
“Let me see.” Zhang Lele immediately sat down to read.
Chen Yuyan leaned in to read along.
Soon, both women started laughing.
“Haha, cousin, this content is so funny,” one said.
“And this twist is simply genius.
It’s a god-tier twist that no one who sees it will ever forget,” said the other.
“Cousin, I had no idea you were so talented; you just whipped up a script out of the blue, and it’s so good,” Zhang Lele cracked up, giving Shen Dong a thumbs-up.
“Of course.
Unlike you, your cousin isn’t a poor student,” Shen Dong bragged.
“Cousin, do you have to bring that up?” Zhang Lele said, rolling her eyes.
She had been labeled a poor student all her life.
Indeed, her academic performance was poor, otherwise, she wouldn’t have ended up at a vocational college.
The title of “poor student” wasn’t exactly flattering.
But she was just bad at academics, okay?
In other areas of learning, she was quite strong.
Like her drawing, for example, which was really quite good.
“Alright, let’s not talk about it.
Spend today thinking about how to perform at your best,” Shen Dong said.
“Don’t worry, I’ll give it some serious thought and make sure the video shoot goes well tomorrow,” Zhang Lele said, clenching her fist to psych herself up.
By three in the afternoon, Shen Dong’s family had left.
Once home, and around six o’clock, Shen Dong went out, drove to the Fu County Grand Hotel.
The high school reunion was being held there tonight.
Shen Dong originally wanted to bring Chen Yuyan with him, but she said she would be out of place since she didn’t know anyone else attending Shen Dong’s high school reunion.
So he had no choice but to go alone.
Upon reaching the private room Qin Haiyang had mentioned, Shen Dong saw that three people had already arrived: one was Qin Haiyang, while the other two were male classmates.
“Shen Dong, you’re here, come and take a seat,” Qin Haiyang greeted him warmly.
Shen Dong nodded and walked over to sit down.
“Shen Dong, do you remember me?” a skinny guy asked with a smile.
“Are you… Feng Tao?” Shen Dong sized up the other person and said with surprise.
“That’s right, you didn’t expect me to succeed in losing weight, right?” Feng Tao chuckled.
“Indeed, I didn’t,” Shen Dong said, shaking his head with a smile.
Feng Tao was a big fat guy in high school, weighing one hundred and eighty jin.
He had started talking about losing weight since the first year of high school.
But by the time they graduated, he still hadn’t succeeded.
Feng Tao had tried hard; in the first semester of the second year, he ran every morning and again in the evening.
But no matter what, his weight just wouldn’t go down, and eventually, he gave up.
Shen Dong truly hadn’t expected that after a few years of not seeing him, Feng Tao had succeeded in losing weight and become skinny.
Looking at his physique, he was even lighter than Shen Dong.
“It wasn’t my own doing, I got a sickness that made me like this in half a year,” Feng Tao said with a bitter smile.
“I see, what was the sickness?
Was it serious?” Shen Dong realized and then asked immediately after.
“It wasn’t serious, it’s all cured now.
You could say it was a blessing in disguise,” Feng Tao didn’t specify what the condition was.
“Glad to hear that,” Shen Dong nodded and didn’t press further.
The other classmate hadn’t changed much, and Shen Dong recognized him without issue.
After exchanging greetings, they started chatting.
“Shen Dong, there are six of us in total for today’s gathering, two other classmates haven’t arrived yet, we’ll start the meal once everyone’s here,” Qin Haiyang said.
Although he was the organizer, today’s star wasn’t him; it was Shen Dong.
In this pragmatic society, whoever had the strength would be the focus at gatherings.
Shen Dong had arrived, but they weren’t starting the meal just yet, so Qin Haiyang felt he needed to clarify the situation.
“Okay.” Shen Dong simply nodded without saying much.
Others hadn’t arrived yet, so of course, they should wait for everyone before starting the meal.
There was no way they would start while people were still missing.
A few minutes later, the other two classmates arrived together: two female classmates.
Both of them were dressed very stylishly, completely devoid of the greenness of their high school days.
“Hey, Shen Dong!”
“Shen Dong, do you remember us?”
The two female classmates greeted Shen Dong.
“I remember, He Wenjing, Tang Xinmei.”
Back in high school, these two female classmates had a pretty good relationship with him.
Tang Xinmei had even written him a love letter.
However, Feng Tao had just mentioned that Tang Xinmei was already married with a child.
“Shen Dong, that Bentley King at the door, that’s yours, right?”
Once they were seated, Tang Xinmei asked.
“Yes,” Shen Dong nodded.
“I looked it up online, just the bare car costs eleven million, buying such a luxury car must make so many classmates envious,” Tang Xinmei clicked her tongue and said.
“It’s okay,” Shen Dong replied indifferently.
“I heard from Qin Haiyang that you opened a live-streaming talent agency in Hai City?” Tang Xinmei asked again.
“Yes,” Shen Dong nodded.
“Do you think I could become a popular live-streamer?” Tang Xinmei continued to inquire.
“I can’t give you an answer to that,” Shen Dong shook his head.
Whether or not someone would become popular wasn’t something he could judge.
After all, Tang Xinmei’s name wasn’t on the list of top live-streamers given to him by the system.
