After arriving at the area with medium-sized monsters, we walked around the area looking around a little and found the aforementioned Funny Rabbits.

Rather, Funny Rabbits seem to be popular, as so many people have gathered in their area. It also seemed like they’ve secured a good place for them, so the Funny Rabbits could be the centerpiece of the medium-sized area.

These rabbits are really looking more and more like Fate-san. Even so, it certainly makes sense why they’re popular…… Seeing these big rabbits with their fluffy fur laying down lazily is quite cute.

While looking at the Funny Rabbits lying here and there, I bought interaction tickets for the both of us. It seems that the numbered areas are divided within the fence, and me and Sieg-san were in the 8th Area.

Basically, the keepers make adjustments so that there’s at least one Funny Rabbit in each area, but even if the Funny Rabbit moves out of the area, we were cautioned not to leave the area as we entered the fence.

Perhaps because Funny Rabbits are popular, it could be a problem if the guests were allowed to just move around as they pleased, so they divide areas and adjust how crowded each area is.

[Kaito-san! There’s a Funny Rabbit here already!]

[Ah, then, let’s go there———- Wait, you’re already there!?]

By the time I heard Sieg-san’s voice and moved my gaze, she had already moved to the Funny Rabbit. Smiling at her speed, I also approached the Funny Rabbit.

The Funny Rabbit was lying on the grassy ground and looked relaxed, not averse to Sieg-san’s petting.

Squatting down next to Sieg-san, I gently reached out my hand to the Funny Rabbit. As Sieg-san was stroking its body, I stroked the head, being careful not to touch its horn.

The fur on the rabbit’s body is quite fluffy and warm, with its body temperature high. Its horn is quite sharp, but it’s covered to prevent injuring the guests, so there seems to be no danger.

When my hand that was stroking the Funny Rabbit’s head stopped while I’m enjoying Sieg-san’s appearance, Funny Rabbit rubbed her head against my hand.

It felt as if it was insisting on “more petting”, so when I stroked its head again, the Funny Rabbit narrowed its eyes and returned to its relaxed posture.

[How unusual. For the Funny Rabbit to behave like a spoiled child…… Speaking of which, this was the same with Lynn-chan and when we went on a trip before, but animals and monsters easily get emotionally attached to Kaito-san.]

Indeed, considering the fact that it only really runs when hunting prey, it may almost never run if it’s in an environment where it can be fed.

When you think about this, it was an extremely rare occurrence for them to run in the Monster Race, so it’s understandable why it got a very high multiplier back then.

[Indeed, seeing them running quickly would be quite cool. I’d also like to see it run again…… Arehh?]

Just after I muttered that, the Funny Rabbit we were patting slowly got up. After glancing at me, with a snap, it started running.

Then, after circling around the big fence at a tremendous speed, it came back in front of us and laid down again.

[Monsters seem to understand human language to some extent, so it’s not impossible. Normally though, they still wouldn’t run……]

I called out to Funny Rabbit and patted it on the head again, to which Funny Rabbit comfortably squinted its eyes. Thanks to the Funny Rabbit’s thoughtfulness, I was glad to see something nice.

[You’re mistaken, I’m not.]

Well, hearing the keeper in charge of the area approach me and ask me that right after feels slightly perplexing……
