Yi Chen smiled bitterly, knowing well that after he had used these pills once, they would lose their effectiveness.

’Whatever...saving my life now is more important,’ he shook those thoughts and took out one pill from the bottle.

Opening his eyes, Yi Chen stretched his fingers and felt his body. Everything was back to normal, leaving no signs of injuries.

"Amazing..." he couldn’t help but mutter in praise.

In less than five minutes, all his grievous injuries were healed.

After confirming his condition, he put the pill bottle back in his storage ring and stood up from the ground. The aftermath of the Serpentine Python’s final struggles was clearly on display.

All the surrounding trees were broken down, and the area was completely levelled.

"What’s that?" he muttered as he noticed an incorporeal white ball of light at the spot where the Serpentine Python had disintegrated.

He walked towards the spot to check it out, but the light showed no signs of movement.

’Just what is this...’

Yi Chen poked it slightly with his finger, and the very next instant, the ball of light penetrated his forehead.

In shock, Yi Chen fell back on his butt, but before confusion and panic could cloud his mind, a message from the system popped in front of his eyes.
