I Was The Only Omega In The Beast World-Chapter 97: CP: Giving Birth
"It’s a Snakeling!" Mira announced, her voice ringing with joy. "A Beautiful, Healthy Snakeling!"
The tiny creature in her hands was no longer than her forearm—serpentine body covered in miniature emerald scales that gleamed wetly in the bioluminescent light, a perfect tiny replica of Naga in serpent form. The snakeling’s mouth opened in a silent cry, revealing no teeth yet, just pink gums and a delicate forked tongue that flickered uncertainly.
"Naga," Alex gasped, reaching for the baby with shaking hands.
Mira placed the snakeling carefully against Alex’s chest.
The tiny serpent immediately coiled there, instinctively seeking warmth, its scales cool and smooth against Alex’s skin. The small head lifted, eyes still closed, mouth opening and closing as it searched for food.
"First one down," Mira said, already refocusing on Alex. "Five more to go. How do you feel?"
"Like I just pushed out a baby," Alex said weakly, then gasped as another contraction began building. "Wait—already? I just—"
"Multiples come fast once labor starts," Mira said briskly. "Your body’s already primed. Here comes the second one. When I say push—"
"PUSH!"
Alex bore down again, the snakeling on his chest squirming with each movement. This push felt different—easier somehow, now that he knew what to expect, knew his body could actually do this.
"Good! Again!"
Three more pushes and the second snakeling emerged—this one slightly smaller, its scales a deeper forest green almost bordering on black. Naga’s colors.
"Another snakeling," Mira announced, placing this one beside its sibling.
The two tiny serpents immediately coiled together, seeking each other’s warmth and presence. Neither had opened their eyes yet, but already they knew they weren’t alone.
"Two down," Leo said, his voice tight with emotion, his hand gripping Alex’s so hard it almost hurt. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
"Four more. You’re halfway there."
"Halfway," Alex repeated numbly.
Another contraction.
"Third one’s coming," Mira said. "PUSH!"
This birth was faster—maybe five pushes before the third snakeling slithered free. The third snakeling emerged with a soft, wet sound—smaller than its borned siblings, its scales shimmering with an iridescent undertone that caught the blue glow of the pool like oil on water. The tiny serpent immediately slithered toward the first two, coiling loosely around them in a blind, instinctive pile. Three little heads lifted at once, forked tongues flickering in silent greeting.
"Another perfect snakeling," Mira said, her voice warm with approval as she gently guided the newborn to Alex’s chest. "Strong heartbeat, good color. They’re all taking after their serpent father so far."
Alex laughed—short, breathless, half sob. "Of course they are. Naga’s genes are apparently very... persuasive."
Naga, still braced behind him in the water, made a low, rumbling sound that was equal parts pride and helpless adoration. One clawed hand came forward to cradle the back of the third snakeling’s tiny head with infinite care.
"They’re beautiful," he whispered. "They’re all so beautiful."
Another contraction was already building—relentless, unstoppable.
"Fourth one," Mira warned. "Right behind. Breathe through the peak—then push when I say."
Alex nodded, teeth gritted. The pressure was enormous now, a constant downward force that made his thighs tremble and his vision tunnel. But the three little bodies curled against his chest gave him something solid to hold onto. He could feel their faint heartbeats, their warmth, their quiet trust.
"Let’s work hard for this one too!"
He bore down—harder this time, fueled by the knowledge that every push brought him closer to meeting all six of them.
The fourth snakeling came faster than the third. Two strong pushes and Mira was lifting another emerald-scaled infant from the water. This one was longer than the others, already showing the faint suggestion of Naga’s future hood markings in delicate silver tracery along its neck.
"Another snakeling," Mira confirmed, placing it with its siblings. "Look at that hood flare starting already. This one’s going to be trouble."
The four tiny serpents immediately reorganized themselves into a tighter knot, tails overlapping, heads resting on each other’s coils. Blind, deaf, yet already moving as one small unit.
Alex’s laugh turned into a groan as the next contraction rolled in without pause.
"Fifth," Mira said. "Almost there. One more after this."
"I don’t know if I have one more," Alex panted, but his body was already answering—muscles bearing down before Mira even finished speaking.
"PUSH!"
This one fought harder. The fifth snakeling took six full pushes—Alex’s voice cracking into raw cries by the end—before finally slipping free. Its scales were the deepest green of the batch, almost black in the dim light, with the faintest metallic sheen that reminded everyone of Naga’s own midnight coloring in serpent form.
Mira laid it gently atop the pile. Five little bodies now, writhing softly, seeking contact.
"Five snakelings," Leo said hoarsely, his free hand trembling as he reached out to touch the newest arrival. "Five perfect little serpents."
Zale’s tail curled tighter around Alex’s ankle in the water—silent support, eyes shining with something close to awe.
"One left," Mira said, checking again. "Last one’s crowning already. This is it, Alex. One more big push—give me everything you have."
Alex was beyond exhaustion. His entire body felt like it had been wrung out and left to dry. But the six—no, five—tiny lives already against his skin were proof he could do this. One more. Just one more.
The contraction built—higher, tighter, fiercer than any before.
"NOW—Go For It!"
He pushed.
Pushed with everything left in him—voice breaking into a long, primal sound that echoed off the coral walls.
And then—
Release.
Sudden, shocking emptiness.
Mira lifted the final snakeling from the water with a triumphant cry.
"Sixth snakeling! Healthy, strong, beautiful!"
This last one was the smallest—delicate, almost fragile-looking, with scales the shade of chestnut brown, similar to Alex’s hair colour.
Mira placed the sixth beside its siblings.
All perfect miniatures of their serpent father—emerald, black-green, iridescent, deep forest, midnight, brown—coiled together in a living knot of scales and warmth against Alex’s chest.
Alex stared down at them, tears streaming freely now, chest heaving.
"They’re... all serpents," he whispered. "All six."
Naga made a broken sound—half laugh, half sob—and leaned down to press his forehead against the pile of babies.
"My children," he breathed. "All of them... mine."
Leo’s hand shook as he stroked the smallest one’s back. "They’re perfect. Every single one."
Zale reached out slowly—giving Naga time to see the movement—and let one finger brush the pale jade snakeling’s tiny hood.
"They’re all yours," he said softly to Naga. "But they’re ours too. All of ours."
Alex looked up at his three mates—Naga’s eyes shining with tears he would never admit to, Leo’s golden gaze soft with wonder, Zale’s aqua eyes bright with quiet reverence—and felt the triple bond flare so brightly it almost hurt.
Six snakelings.
Three fathers.
One exhausted bearer.
Mira smiled—tired, proud, triumphant.
"Congratulations," she said. "You just delivered six healthy snakelings. Now rest. All of you. The hard part is over."
But as Alex gathered the tiny, wriggling pile closer to his chest—feeling six small hearts beating against his own—the snakelings feeling the scent of their mother, wriggled their tails and and sat on a comfy position.
They bask on the soft glow of the birthing pool and the quiet chorus of six newborn tongues flickering in blind contentment, Alex felt—for the first time in months—completely, at peace.

[HOST,]
System said softly.
[I’ve been running calculations. With six cubs to care for, your remaining artifact collection journey just got significantly more complicated.]
"I know," Alex murmured. "But we’ll figure something out... somehow."
[Three more stones to find. Three more territories to navigate. With six newborn snakelings in tow.]
[ But anyway, You did it. Host.]
System said, voice softer than Alex had ever heard it.
"We did it,"Alex corrected, pressing a kiss to the top of the smallest snakeling’s head.
The six little serpents hissed softly in unison—tiny, adorable sounds.
