I Was Transmigrated As An Extraordinary Extra-Chapter 199
Chapter 199: Chapter 199
"Urghh..." I groaned softly, shifting in my seat as I tried to find a comfortable position. The stinging pain from Kara’s touch flared up, making it difficult to settle. I winced, adjusting my posture, but it was no use.
"Remi?" Suddenly, someone tapped on my shoulder, right where the wound was still fresh.
"Aack!" I winced, jolting awake as a sharp pain shot through me.
My fist automatically flew towards the person, but they quickly caught it, stopping me mid-swing.
When I finally opened my eyes, I saw Cypher looking at me, his expression a mix of concern and curiosity. "Is something wrong?"
"No, everything’s fine," I said, trying to pull my hand away, but he wouldn’t let go. "Umm... Cypher?"
"I’m just curious. You seemed in pain when I patted your shoulder. Were you hurt?" Cypher asked, his grip firm yet gentle.
"N-No?" I laughed nervously, hoping to brush it off. "It’s probably your imagination."
Just as Cypher was about to sit next to me, Angela appeared out of nowhere, her energy filling the space. "Yo~ Remillia!" she exclaimed, deliberately pushing Cypher away and letting my hand go.
"What’s up?" I said, subtly moving my injured arm away from them, hoping to avoid any further questions.
"Don’t tell me you didn’t read the group chat again?" Angela said, raising her eyebrows. freēwēbnovel.com
"..." I hesitated, knowing I hadn’t had the time to check my messages because of my mission.
Angela rolled her eyes at me, crossing her arms. "Why would I even bother asking? Of course, you didn’t."
"We’ll be hanging out tomorrow," Cypher said, a hopeful smile on his face.
"I won’t join," I replied, trying to sound firm.
"Why? We’ll be there too," someone suddenly chimed in, leaning their hand on my injured shoulder.
"Shit!" I couldn’t help but curse as the pain intensified, a sharp jolt shooting through me. I quickly pulled his hand away from my shoulder and, in a reflexive motion, slammed him down onto the ground.
"What the hell was that for?!" Rex groaned, rubbing his shoulder as he looked up at me, bewildered.
"Oh, sorry! I thought it was a fly that landed on my shoulder," I said, trying to play it off as nonchalantly as possible as I sat back down.
"Crazy witch..." Rex muttered under his breath as Christian helped him up, a smirk playing on his lips.
"You know that I can hear you, right?" I shot back, raising an eyebrow.
"I don’t care!" Rex retorted, crossing his arms defiantly.
Just then, Whitney strode over, Edge following closely behind. "We’ll all be hanging out tomorrow, so I suggest you should come with us," she said, her tone leaving no room for argument.
"And if I don’t?" I challenged.
Christian leaned in, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "If you don’t, we’ll be hanging out in your room for the whole day."
"That’s fine with—" I started, but I was cut off by Rex’s next comment.
"You’ll be paying for our meals, and you won’t be able to sleep a wink," he added, a grin spreading across his face.
"Okay, fine! I’ll be joining you guys!" I relented, feeling a mix of annoyance and resignation.
I groaned inwardly, wishing for nothing more than a day of rest.

Nightjars Headquarters
Today, only six members of Nightjars were present to assess the new member’s battle prowess. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as Kairos displayed the video of Remillia performing her mission.
"I’m impressed she completed her mission in four hours," Magellan said, his voice filled with awe as he watched the footage unfold on the screen.
"True... but I’m curious about what happened inside the space she created," William Santano added, leaning forward in his seat, his eyes narrowing in concentration.
"Not only did she kill the enemies, but she also saved at least twenty victims," Magellan continued, his admiration evident.
"Can you believe that? Her weapon is a dagger. She really has an intriguing Gift," William remarked, a hint of excitement in his tone.
"So? What do you think about her?" Thorne urged William to give his assessment, his arms crossed as he listened intently.
"I guess she’s around the level of Advanced grade 4 hero," William stated confidently.
"That’s freaking high," Thorne replied, raising an eyebrow. "Are you even rating her correctly?"
"Then what do you think about her?" William shot back, his eyebrow arched in challenge.
"She’s at least a Standard grade 3 hero," Thorne countered, his tone firm. "She’s helpful in infiltrating enemy backlines."
"What? Standard rank? That’s lower than what I said," William exclaimed, incredulous.
"She just turned 18... Think about how much stronger she’ll get in the future. Give it seven more years, and she’ll be a deadly weapon herself then probably she’ll be at least the rank what you suggested," Thorne said, his voice filled with conviction.
"Where did Dagur go, anyway? He has a sharp eye when assessing someone," William asked, glancing around the room.
"I think he’s on a mission; he isn’t back yet," Thorne replied, then turned to Kairos. "How about you, boss? What do you think of her?"
Kairos, who had been quietly observing the video, was now focused on his computer screen. Thorne leaned in to peek, noticing that Kairos was searching for healing ointments on the Scarlet Phantom website.
He’s looking for an ointment? But he doesn’t have any injuries... Not unless it’s for Remillia...
Thorne quickly rewound the video to the moment Remillia emerged from her space. He zoomed in as he noticed the wounds on her right shoulder and arm.
Is it true that boss really has feelings for this girl?
He glanced back at Kairos, who was still focused on the screen. "Who are you getting that for? Is it perhaps for—Never mind!" Thorne quickly changed the topic, sensing the intensity of Kairos’s gaze.
Kairos raised an eyebrow but didn’t respond, and turned his attention on the screen.
Thorne quickly turned back to Gula, who was leaning against the wall, arms crossed. "Have you cleaned up the scene?"
Thorne looked back at Gula. "Have you cleaned up the scene?"
"What do you think of me? A 12-year-old?" Gula rolled her eyes, her tone dripping with sarcasm.
Thorne bit his tongue, wanting to point out that she was, in fact, a 12-year-old. But he knew better than to bring it up. Gula may look like a child, but her mind was sharp and mature, far beyond her years.
"Did you find any traces of the ability she used to create her own space?" Thorne asked, shifting the conversation back to the mission.
"No, and honestly, I like the way she made it seem like no one really went there. No blood, no footsteps, heck, I didn’t even trace any of her presence," Gula chuckled, then glared at the rest of the members. "Unlike the rest of you guys... You just do your missions as if you’re having a walk in a circus! All of you mess up everywhere!"
Thorne let out a sigh, knowing she had a point. It was true that Remillia was more disciplined in her approach to missions than they were.
Thorne looked at Kairos, silently pleading for help as Gula continued her scolding, her voice rising with each passing moment. It was clear she wasn’t finished with her sermon, and Thorne could feel the weight of her words pressing down on him and the others.
But Kairos, seemingly unfazed, simply went back to scrolling on his computer. Thorne sighed, realizing he was on their own in this situation.

I immediately laid on my bed as soon as class ended, the exhaustion washing over me. My wounds still hurt, but thankfully, they didn’t sting as much as they had earlier.
Macaron seemed to sense my fatigue, so he silently curled up beside me, offering his warmth and comfort. I closed my eyes for a moment, letting his soothing presence lull me into a state of relaxation.
After a while, I pushed myself up again. I wanted to check on Glacier before succumbing myself to sleep. I opened the door, and just in time, I saw Kairos, disguised as Caleo, about to knock.
I opened the door and just in time, I saw Kairos disguised as Caleo, was about to knock on my door.
"Caleo?" I said, surprised.
"I was thinking that maybe you want to check on Glacier since I know you haven’t met him the other day," Kairos suggested, a hint of warmth in his voice.
"Of course I want to!" I replied, my excitement bubbling over.
Kairos glanced back at his room. "Glacier," he called, and soon enough, Glacier popped his head out, his eyes bright with curiosity.
"Glacier!" I exclaimed, kneeling down to greet him.
His ears perked up like a dog’s as he excitedly pounced on me, licking my face with enthusiasm. I laughed at his excitement, but then winced as he unintentionally grazed my wounds. A sharp hiss escaped my lips at the sudden pain.
"Glacier, sit," Kairos commanded, and instantly, Glacier obeyed, plopping down in front of me.
Kairos gently lifted me up, being careful to avoid my wounded arm. "When did you teach him that?" I asked, genuinely impressed.
"Just yesterday. It seems that he’s a fast learner," Kairos replied, a hint of pride in his voice.
"Thanks for taking care of Glacier, but I’ll be taking care of him now," I said, opening my door wider. Glacier seemed to sense my intention and bounded inside, tail wagging.
"No problem," Kairos said, his tone casual. "If you want, I can babysit him if you have something to do."
"Thanks again," I said, feeling grateful for his offer. "I should probably head in now; I still haven’t gotten any sleep. Bye."
Before I could close the door, he handed me an ointment. I looked at him curiously, surprised by the gesture.
"This is a gift for giving me the ointment last time. It really worked like a charm," Kairos explained, his expression sincere.
I was about to request some healing ointment to Professor Orion, but I was glad that Kairos gave one to me first. I accepted it gratefully. "You still remember that?"
"Of course," he replied, a small smile playing on his lips.
"Thank you again," I said, holding up the ointment he had given me. "For this."
"Make sure to put it on your wounds. I noticed that you seemed to be in pain when Glacier touched your right arm," Kairos said, his concern evident.
I paused, looking at him, and then smiled. "Don’t worry, I will. Goodnight then," I said before fully closing the door.
"Goodnight, Remillia," Kairos called softly from the other side.
