I Would Rather Be a Rogue [BL]-Chapter 101: Emotional Turmoil
Chapter 101: Emotional Turmoil
Felix stood in the middle of the forest, dazed.
What was that just now? The witch leaned forward... And then disappeared, turning into purple smoke, or at least that’s how it looked. Although ’looked’ was saying a bit too much, since at that moment, Felix’s eyes were closed...
But that was not the point. The point was that, just before the witch vanished... Their lips had touched. Just for a moment, just a light peck, but it happened, Felix was certain of it. The sweet aftertaste remaining on his tingling lips was proof of it.
Of course that wasn’t entirely unexpected, or shouldn’t have been. Considering how clingy Remi had been, sneaking under Felix’s shirt, burying his head in his neck, and licking him, it was clear that he liked to... get physical with the Omega. Still, it was always in the fox form, and could all be chalked up to just a ’pet’ being affectionate with their owner... And yes, Remi wasn’t just a ’pet’, Felix knew it, and Remi knew he knew, but...
Kissing Felix in the human form was still very different. There was no plausible deniability as to what it meant.
Unless it was a spell? But if that was meant to be a spell, then Felix couldn’t even begin to guess as to what it was supposed to do. He didn’t feel much of a change, aside from the soft sensation lingering on his lips, and his thoughts all revolving around the witch. His anger had also subsided a bit, or rather, it had been pushed to the back of his mind, replaced by other emotions, that made his face heat up...
That was all just a natural reaction to being kissed all of a sudden by a hot Alpha. A hot Alpha whom Felix did not detest.
What was up with the Alphas kissing him, and then leaving right away, before Felix had much of a chance to react? The witch had done it, and so did Kade. frёeweɓηovel_coɱ
Kade...
Felix let out a sigh, covering his face. While he might have cooled down now, that didn’t mean he was any less angry at Kade... However, how to tackle the issue, he had absolutely no idea.
Something suddenly brushed against his legs, something warm and soft. Remi. The witch might have disappeared, but the fox returned in his place, rubbing his nimble body against Felix’s calves, demanding attention.
’That sneaky little...’ Felix sighed inwardly... But still crouched down to pet Remi’s furry red head. The witch might have just thrown him into a whole new emotional turmoil, but the fox was innocent, right?
Wrong, and Felix knew it all too well, but he chose to ignore it. For his own inner peace. Remi had served him as a source of comfort till now, and he had come to depend on him quite a lot (despite knowing that foxes should not be trusted)... Felix couldn’t afford to lose it now.
Not that he didn’t like the kiss, it was just... Flustering. Much more so than all those times when Remi acted inappropriately. Because of the human form...
There was no point thinking too much about it, he would just go along with it for now, and see what the witch intended to do next. Felix had more pressing issues on his mind, such as deciding how to handle Kade’s case. Not to mention, caring for Vivi. His pup would always come first.
Having calmed down a bit and sorted his thoughts to some extent, Felix stood up, and finally left the forest, with Remi trotting right next to him. They went to pick up Vivi from Brielle, and finally returned home.

Felix ignored Kade’s messages. After he started responding to him first, the Alpha got bolder, and was now texting him every day, his messages often containing photos of himself, some mildly inappropriate, but without going overboard. And Felix typically responded to them...
But not now. Now, he left them all on read. At first, he intended not to open them at all... But in the end, his curiosity won.
After a few days, thought, he stopped doing that as well. He didn’t want to risk getting swayed by that stupid Alpha’s nonsensical messages. He knew he couldn’t avoid the confrontation forever, it was unlikely that Kade would just give up and let go even if he did, but... He just didn’t want to talk to the Alpha right now. And didn’t know what to say.
Would Kade admit to his fault? And even if he did... Would he feel regretful about it? Probably not. If that were so, then he wouldn’t have done it in the first place. Kade was smart, it’s not like he didn’t know what he was doing. At most, he would just regret getting caught...
What could Felix possibly do about it, though? Kade could literally grab him under the arm, and drag him to the Bloodmoon Pack, if he wanted to. Or kill him, if he decided that it wasn’t worth the effort. Sure, he hasn’t done anything like that until now, and he had showed no intentions to do... But after his recent discovery, all the fragile trust Felix had recently felt toward the Alpha had completely plummeted.
Which was why it was so hard to decide what to do. One wrong word, and Kade might throw away that ’nice’ mask he wore. And Felix didn’t know how far the witch was willing to go to protect him...
But ignoring the issue and pretending that nothing happened didn’t sit right with him either. Was he supposed to spend the rest of his life like that, tiptoeing around Kade?
Days passed like that, with Felix constantly tossing and turning in his mind, unable to come up with any proper response. Until two weeks later, a message from Fen arrived.
A picture of Kade lying on the bed, all sad and depressed, devoid of any hope. And a caption, [Did you know that rabbits can die from loneliness?]
