Chapter 759: Chapter 759: People who want to be Mrs. Shen, lined up from south to north
Xu Chaomu looked at him. “Where are you going?”
“The hospital.”
“Oh.” Xu Chaomu understood; he probably wanted to check on the paternity test.

But with him here, she really didn’t have to worry about anything.
“Mumu.” Shen Chi looked down at her, “While I’m not here these few days, has the little one in your stomach been behaving?”
“Not at all, kicking me all the time. When he’s born, you’ll have to discipline him,” Xu Chaomu huffed.
...
“I think… even before he’s born, I could discipline him,” Shen Chi raised an eyebrow.
Xu Chaomu was momentarily confused. “What?”
Shen Chi liked her dumb and cute look, so he lowered his head and whispered in her ear, “Like last night.”
“…” Xu Chaomu’s face turned red, and she pushed Shen Chi away, “You go, don’t come back, go go go, hurry up and go! You’re not serious first thing in the morning; when the baby is born, I’m going to tell him how you always bully me.”
“Tell him? How will you tell? That I did this and that to you? Hm?”
“Roll! Shen Chi, are you rolling or not?!”
Shen Chi’s lips curled up into an unscrupulous smile.
Xu Chaomu climbed off of him and glared at him.
Only then did Shen Chi leisurely tie up his robe and get out of bed.
“Stay at home and be good. I’ll be back in no time,” Shen Chi said.
“You might as well not come back.”
“You’re really not afraid I’ll go on a date with a lover? Let me tell you, in C City, the people who want to be Mrs. Shen can line up from the south to the north.”
“So?”
“So, you should feel a sense of crisis.”
“The ones chasing after Xu Chaomu line up from north to south too. Don’t you feel any sense of crisis?”
Shen Chi frowned; the cheeky girl was at it again, talking back to him without any hesitation.
“Xu Chaomu.” He shouted at her, “If I ever see a man chasing you, he’s not going to end well.”
“Well, if I see a woman chasing you, you’re not going to end well either,” Xu Chaomu retorted.
“Xu…”
“Alright, you can go now!” Xu Chaomu looked away, covered herself with the blanket, and wrapped herself in the sheets.
She hadn’t had enough sleep; she wanted to sleep more.
Shen Chi was helpless, he dressed and looked back at her; by then, the girl had buried herself in the blanket.
He picked up his suit jacket and had no choice but to exit the bedroom, gently closing the door behind him.
She really is a little pig, still not having enough sleep.
When Shen Chi went downstairs, a servant bowed to him: “Good morning, Fourth Young Master.”
“Hmm.” He fastened the buttons on his suit and walked towards the dining table.
While having breakfast, he called over several servants.
“How did you watch the villa last night before I returned? You let so many people in.”
Shen Chi spoke with a calm tone but every word carried a chilling severity; his face was impassive, but he radiated an aura of authority.
His words swept through like a cold blast of wind.
The servants all bowed their heads in unison, not daring to make a sound.
“Speak!” Shen Chi commanded sharply.
The leading male servant had no choice but to tremble and say, “We… we saw the old master… we didn’t dare to stop him.”
“Oh? What did I tell you?”
“You… you said… not to let any unrelated people in.”
“So, you dared to defy my orders?”
“No, Fourth Young Master, please forgive us, we just didn’t dare to stop the old master… we thought, the old master shouldn’t be considered an unrelated person… plus, the old master brought many bodyguards, we… we couldn’t stop them…”
“All nonsense!” barked Shen Chi. “Get out!”
Seeing him enraged, the servants knew trouble was brewing. His command for them to get out was already merciful enough!
“Yes, Fourth Young Master.” They scrambled away hastily, terrified.
Shen Chi didn’t want to cause a disturbance that would wake Xu Chaomu so early, and that’s why he let them off this time.
But if there were a next time, he wouldn’t be so lenient!
Having said that, Shen Chi pointed at a young girl: “You, come here!”
This young servant, already shaking with fear, found herself unable to move when Shen Chi singled her out.
“Fo… Fourth Young Master…” she stuttered.
“I’m telling you to come here!” Shen Chi raised his voice.
“Fourth Young Master!” The young girl’s legs buckled in fright, and she dropped to her knees, “Please spare me, Fourth Young Master, I’m wrong, I was wrong…”
“Oh? Wrong? In what way?”
Shen Chi absentmindedly stirred his coffee for a few turns, his face a mask of calmness, yet beneath that calm were roiling waves!
“I…” the young servant stammered, in truth… she had no idea what she had done wrong.
Seeing Shen Chi angry, she knew she must have done something wrong, but she truly didn’t know what it was.
She hemmed and hawed for a long time without coming up with any explanation.
“It seems you have no realization,” Shen Chi sneered coldly.
“No no no, Fourth Young Master, I was wrong… I… I shouldn’t have… shouldn’t have let the old master in,” the young servant made up on the spot.
She really didn’t know where she went wrong…
“If you really can’t figure it out, let me tell you. However, if I have to tell you, you might as well… forget about staying in C City,” Shen Chi said.
Today, he was being relatively polite, but in the past, the punishment would have been far from mild.
“No no no, Fourth Young Master, I… I didn’t help the Fourth Young Madam when the old master was bullying her,” the young servant started to rack her brain.
“Is that all?”
“And… and I didn’t do well enough.” She was truly at a loss.
“I said before, regardless of what happens at Waterside Pavilion, big or small, call me immediately. Did you?” Shen Chi shot a cold look her way.
The living room instantly filled with a chilling atmosphere, as if the temperature around had dropped several degrees!
So… that was the issue.
The young servant broke out in a cold sweat, realizing she… hadn’t called.
It wasn’t that she didn’t want to call but rather hesitated over whether she should.
“Fourth Young Master, I… I was going to call… but… but the Fourth Young Madam said not to… she told me not to tell you…”
“By your words, is the Fourth Young Madam to blame?” Shen Chi said coldly.
“No, not at all, that’s not what I meant,” the young servant shivered uncontrollably, “I really didn’t mean that, Fourth Young Master…”
“I think that’s exactly what you meant.”
“It really isn’t, Fourth Young Master…”
“Out of C City with you, back to your hometown!” Shen Chi was furious.
The other servants all sweated for her, realizing that… the punishment was actually lenient.
“Fourth Young Master, I’m sorry, I was wrong, give me another chance,” the young servant pleaded.
“What are you all standing there for?!” Shen Chi looked around at the others.
“Yes, Fourth Young Master.”
The rest of the servants, not wanting the anger to fall on them, quickly stepped forward and dragged the young servant away, indifferent to her anguished cries.
They wanted to tell her the punishment was already light, and she should pack up and go home quickly. Otherwise, if the Fourth Young Master changed his mind, she might just lose her life!
