I'll Raise My Future Omega Son-in-law-Chapter 137: CLOSING A -
"ARE YOU BROTHERS?"
An Baekya wasn’t surprised by Kim Woosung’s question.
The younger of the Kim Twins had been looking at An Baekya and Yun Yuhyun curiously.
Maybe Kim Woosung couldn’t hold back his curiosity anymore.
"But you’re the same age," Kim Woosung added. Of course, as Koreans, they also told each other their ages after their introductions. "Are you twins, like me and Woochul Hyung?"
"No, we’re not twins," Yun Yuhyun said bluntly. "I’m older than An Baekya."
"Really?" Kim Woosung then looked at An Baekya. "Why are you not calling Yuhyun ’Hyung,’ then? That’s very rude, Baekya."
Yun Yuhyun smirked, obviously agreeing with Kim Woosung’s sentiments.
Tsk.
"Yuhyun is only one month older than me," An Baekya said defensively. He couldn’t believe a child just scolded him for being ’rude’ to Yun Yuhyun. "I don’t need to call him ’hyung’ since we’re born in the same year."
"Woochul Hyung is only a few minutes older than me, but I call him ’hyung.’"
"It’s because you two are blood brothers," An Baekya explained. "Yuhyun and I aren’t like that. I’m only a foster kid of his parents."
Kim Woosung tilted his head to one side, confused. "What does it mean?"
"It means I’m not Yuhyun’s real brother. His parents just adopted me because they find me pitiful."
As expected, Kim Woosung still looked confused.
"Sung-ah, it doesn’t matter whether Yuhyun and Baekya are blood brothers or not. Brothers are brothers," Kim Woochul, the older one between the Kim Twins, said. "Don’t think about it deeply— it doesn’t suit you when you use your brainpower too much."
Kim Woosung, instead of getting offended by his older brother’s slight ’shade,’ beamed and nodded. "You’re right, Hyung. Brothers are brothers." After that, Kim Woosung turned to Yun Yuhyun and changed the topic. "So, let’s continue our talk, Yuhyun-ah. You want to know more about gold, correct?"
"Yes," Yun Yuhyun said immediately. "Is gold really a good investment?"
"Of course, it is," Kim Woochul said, chiming in on the conversation. The Kim Twins really seemed to be obsessed with gold. "Our mama and papa gift us gold bars every time there’s a special occasion..."
Aigoo.
An Baekya could only shake his head while listening to the kids’ conversation about gold and investment.
Is this really the idea of a play date for chaebol kids?
***
WONYOUNG was really grateful after Park Sohee and Kim Heedo shared tips on how to raise kids who manifested early.
I hope I can raise Baekya and Yuhyun well on my own.
It would be a little expensive, but that should be fine since co-parenting meant Yun Dujun would still support the kids financially.
And I’ll get alimony after our divorce anyway.
"Sohee-ssi, Heedo-ssi, thank you for the tips," Wonyoung said sincerely. "I’m really grateful that we’ve met you."
"Likewise, Wonyoung-ssi," Park Sohee said. "We should hang out more."
"Sounds good to me."
It didn’t sound good to Yun Dujun and Kim Heedo, who both frowned.
But Wonyoung and Park Sohee just ignored their respective husbands.
We all know that Alphas are jealous people, so you just have to ignore them when they’re being like that.
It was ridiculous for the Alphas to get jealous of an Omega, but that was how it was.
The Alphas’ jealousy knows no reason.
"I think lunch is ready," Wonyoung said, changing the topic. "Let’s eat— I’m sure the kids are hungry, too."
***
"DID you kill that person?"
Yun Dujun didn’t flinch at Kim Heedo’s question.
After all, he knew what the kid was talking about.
Of course, Kim Heedo isn’t a kid— but he’s younger than me.
"I didn’t," Yun Dujun answered. "But I made sure that bastard would never even think about looking at an Omega again— especially not my husband."
It was okay to talk about that since Yun Dujun and Kim Heedo were drinking in the corner of the room while watching their families bonding.
The twins were playing with Yun Yuhyun and An Baekya.
Actually, it looked like the boys were having a meeting.
I wonder what those kids are talking about for them to look that serious.
Meanwhile, Bae Wonyoung looked happy while playing with Kim Woohee— Park Sohee and Kim Heedo’s baby girl.
I remember Wonyoung saying he wants a daughter.
Yun Dujun didn’t want to risk Bae Wonyoung’s life again by giving birth to another child, but if his husband really wanted a daughter, then maybe it was worth a try?
Wait, he was being delusional.
I need to earn Wonyoung’s forgiveness first.
"If you get in trouble again and you need to get rid of someone, tell me," Kim Heedo said. "I know a hyung-nim who’s good at dealing with things like that."
"Who?"
"Song Sihyuk Hyung-nim."
Okay, that was pretty shocking.
"Song Sihyuk of the SG Group?"
SG Group was another chaebol family.
But that family has a pretty uh, bad reputation.
"You look like you’ve heard about Sihyuk Hyung-nim, Dujun-ssi."
"I heard about him from a friend before," Yun Dujun said. Well, maybe ’ex-friend’ would be more appropriate since he was talking about Lee Heeju. "I don’t want to say this to someone who’s not here, but the things I heard about Song Sihyuk-ssi aren’t good."
Kim Heedo chuckled. "Exactly. And that’s why we can rely on him when we want to get rid of someone."
Aigoo.
Kim Heedo said it so naturally, not even an ounce of fear or guilt.
Chaebol kids are really scary.
"Dujun-ssi, Song Sihyuk Hyung-nim is also a Hyper-Dominant Alpha like me."
Yun Dujun almost choked on his drink, surprised. "Is that something you’re allowed to share with me?"
"It’s okay. I told Sihyuk Hyung-nim that I was going to meet you. He told me it’s fine if I have to reveal his secret, too."
"Really?"
"We trust people that Kyungnim Hyung trusts," Kim Heedo explained, talking about their trusted doctor. "Kyungmin Hyung mentioned you to me and Sihyuk Hyung-nim before. And he wouldn’t want to expose us to someone he doesn’t trust."
"I’m honored to know that Kyungmin Hyung thinks highly of me."
"Well, there’s another reason why Kyungmin Kyung wants us to meet."
"What is it?"
"I heard you also have a state shaman looking over your family," Kim Heedo said. "We do, too. That shaman is actually the reason I married my husband. Well, it started like that. But my husband and I fell in love with each other eventually."
"Oh. That’s the same for me and my husband."
"Do you trust your shaman?"
"No, not at all."
"Good," Kim Heedo said, nodding approvingly. "I owe our shaman for a lot of things, but I don’t trust everything he says blindly. Especially after the previous shaman of Sihyuk Hyung-nim’s family betrayed them. A shaman can betray the family they serve, so don’t let your guard down, Dujun-ssi."
"I’ll keep that in mind," Yun Dujun said. "Thank you, Heedo-ssi."

IT WAS a long day.
Wonyoung and his family had just sent off Park Sohee and his family a while ago.
He was tired, but he was happy.
Hanging out with Park Sohee and his family was fun.
It seemed like Yun Yuhyun and An Baekya had a good time with their new friends, too.
"Papa, Daddy, I want gold bars."
Wonyoung almost choked on his saliva because of what Yun Yuhyun said. "Did you say gold bars, Yuhyun-ah?"
"Yes, Papa," Yun Yuhyun said while nodding. "Gold is a good investment."
Huh?
"It’s the Kim Twins’ influence, Appa," An Baekya explained. "Woochul and Woosung’s parents get them a gold bar every special occasion, like their birthday."
Aigoo.
Chaebol kids are really a different breed...
"That sounds like a good idea," Yun Dujun said casually. "Your Papa and I will get you a gold bar during special occasions, Yuhyun-ah, Baekya."
Wonyoung wanted to complain because that was something Yun Dujun should have discussed with him first.
But he swallowed his complaints when Yun Yuhyun already begun his celebration.
"Thank you, Papa and Daddy!" Yun Yuhyun said, clapping his hands. "I’ll brag about it to Woochul and Woosung next time!"
"I’m fine, I don’t need gold bars," An Baekya said calmly. "But thank you for including me, Abeoji."
Aigoo.
Wonyoung looked between Yun Dujun and An Baekya back and forth.
They’re still awkward around each other, huh?
***
FINALLY, Wonyoung and Yun Dujun were alone again.
But not for anything lewd, okay?
The two of them were in the study because they needed to talk about something important.
"My side has already filed for our divorce, Wonyoung-ah," Yun Dujun said in a serious tone. "Since I’m an Alpha and I’m the one who filed for it, our cooling-off period will only take one month. It would have only taken two weeks if we didn’t have a child. But since we have Yun Yuhyun, the cooling-off period will take that long."
That was actually already short.
If an Omega filed for a divorce with their Alpha partner, the cooling-off period would be six months if they didn’t have a child, and nine months if they did have a child.
Yes, the law really favored Alphas.
That’s why it’s vital that it’s Dujun Hyung who filed for our divorce.
"The court also ordered mandatory counseling during our cooling-off period, Wonyoung-ah," Yun Dujun said. "It’s required when the Omega has a child with the Alpha that they want to divorce."
Tsk.
It’s really annoying how the laws favor Alphas too much.
"Alright, let’s do it, Hyung," Wonyoung said, determined. "I’m confident that I won’t change my mind about our divorce, even if we get counseling."
Right?
