"We have finished our discussion. We are ready to depart," Leo told the people waiting outside for him.

He didn’t explain the kind of negotiations he had behind the closed doors. In any case, Yang and Ulen were too lazy to care.

"Are we taking them with us as well?" The Family Head asked, watching Leo explain to the people who were supposed to be his juniors.

"Don’t worry. They will not enter the treasury realm. They will only wait outside to deal with the explosives after I toss them out. I can explain in more detail, but it’s technical stuff. You won’t understand."

Leo casually shrugged off the fact that he was bringing an entire team to the place where the entrance to the secret realm treasury was supposed to be.

"But-"

"What? Do you have a problem with this?" Leo asked, not even letting the old man express his complaints.

"You don’t have much time," he added. "The faster we move, the faster we can deal with this. After all, I can’t be hundred percent certain if the explosives won’t go off earlier than known."

"I just..." The man tried speaking, but once again, Leo didn’t let him finish.

"Good that you agreed. Let’s get moving now." Leo grabbed the one man’s hand, and stared walking towards the stairs.

Normally, it was impossible for someone to approach the Lionel Family Head, let alone grab his hand.

After all, many of his guards were hiding in the shadows.

As soon as Leo grabbed him, the guards were almost about to move, only to be stopped as they saw Lionel Family Head’s gesture to stay put.

In any case, although Leo was a little brazen, he was still trying to help him. Or so he thought.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Lionel Family Members had already joined the banquet in the main hall, each carrying a wine glass in their hand.

Some family members mingled amongst themselves, while the others discussed things with the guests.

The eldest son of the family, who was also the closest to becoming the next family head, was involved in an intense discussion with the General that handled the defence of the planet.

Meanwhile, Fiona was sitting on the same table as the President of the Planet, while her daughter was comfortably cozying up in her hand.

Just then, as if by a domino effect, people started looking towards the stairs.

The star of the party, the Lionel Family Head had arrived.

"Hmm? Who is the person with him?" The General of Planetary Defence Forces asked, watching Leo have his arm around the Family Head’s shoulder.

"They look like they are the best of friends. Does the Young Lady know his identity?" The President of the Planet asked Fiona.

Meanwhile, Fiona looked just as confused. She knew that this person wasn’t a friend of her grandfather. In fact, it was the first time her grandfather had met that person.

That same stranger was walking with his grandfather like they were real brothers?

Who was her grandfather? He was the head of the Lionel Family. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

Although their family wasn’t the strongest amongst the middle tier planets in the universe, it still wasn’t something where her grandfather had to accept such behaviour from a stranger, even if they were from the Union.

If her grandfather was treating that man with such respect, letting him be brazen, something didn’t feel right. Something was definitely going on under the surfaces.

"I’ll go toast to your grandfather. Please excuse me..."

The President stood up and approached the Lionel family head. The General and the others with influence also did the same, only for the old man to gesture to them to stop.

"Something urgent has come up. I will have to take my leave. In the meantime, please enjoy the party." The Family Head didn’t offer any explanation.

Amidst a defensive layer formed by the guards, he walked out of the main hall, leaving all the guests bewildered.

Outside the mansion, the ships of the Lionel Family had already arranged themselves in position.

"Please follow my ship closely so you don’t get lost on the way," the old man said as he finally moved Leo’s hand away, entering the middle ship in the entourage.

Leo also entered the ship of the Galactic Union, or at least the one that had the logo.

Although he wanted to travel with the old man, he couldn’t really leave his own ship behind. After all, he wasn’t really planning on returning.

Even though the ship was only painted on the outside, and wasn’t as advanced in real life, it was still a ship that could fly. It wasn’t something that he could lose.

Leo entered the Galactic Union Ship, accompanied by Ulien, Yang and his branch manager who felt like he didn’t belong here.

The ship of the Lionel Family Head was escorted by multiple ships. In the entourage, there were a total of nine ships.

There were four advanced fighter ships in the front, and four in the back. In the middle was the ship in which the Family Head was staying.

Following the entourage closely was Leo’s ship.

As the ships rose in the air, they soon left the planet, disappearing into space.

Fiona and the eldest son of the family stepped out of the mansion, watching the ship leave.

"Strange. To think that grandfather would leave at a time like this..." The eldest son mumbled, wondering if he should follow them to see what was going on.

Eventually, he dropped the thought, knowing his grandfather’s temper.

’Strange. That old man rarely leaves home, unless it’s about the main treasury that needs his personal presence to open. And to take such a big entourage... But why would he take the Galactic Union people to the treasury? Just what is going on?’

Fiona was also lost in thoughts, but she couldn’t do anything other than wait.

With a sigh, she turned around and returned to the mansion.

Only a few minutes had passed when another ship entered the planet, hovered right above the mansion.

Once again, the ship carried the symbol of the Galactic Union. However, it looked much larger than Leo’s ship.

The ship’s door opened, and a woman jumped out, landing on the red carpet.

"I didn’t know the family was having a party. Then again, we can’t wait for answers. We must know the relationship between the Lionel Family and Leo Vanderlen for our investigation..."
