Chapter 235: Chapter 231: Bloody Castle 12

Mina’s eyes flashed with pride: "Josh, we’re all players here. How did you get the head chef’s favor? Care to share with us?"

The group adopted a stance that suggested they wouldn’t let her leave unless she talked.

Josh coughed twice, looking indifferently at the men who intentionally moved closer, then she stepped back two paces, holding her nose: "Please stay away from me, I’m allergic to pig bristles."

The man’s face instantly turned sullen: "Josh, don’t refuse a toast only to drink punishment. You’re alone now—don’t cry about being outnumbered later."

Josh chuckled: "Sure."

She tried to pass by but was blocked again.

The group clearly didn’t want to let her pass easily.

Solong sized her up: "Such a pretty girl. If we wanted to do something to you, you couldn’t resist, right? The game rules allow player fights, you know~"

Just as he finished speaking, the entire corridor suddenly turned a few degrees colder.

Solong shivered and was about to speak when suddenly a cold flash passed before his eyes.

Josh lifted her hand and cut off Solong’s head, blood instantly gushing out and splattering everywhere.

She had anticipated this and stepped back a few paces.

Mina widened her eyes in disbelief: "Solong!"

The group looked at Josh in fear; they hadn’t expected Josh to have a weapon.

Wasn’t this instance supposed to forbid weapons?!

As if seeing through their confusion, Josh smiled: "This is a prop, not a weapon~"

Mina’s group didn’t dare underestimate this seemingly frail rabbit.

Josh grinned: "Aren’t you going to run?"

Mina sneered coldly, "The one who should run is..."

Before she finished speaking, her head was chopped off by Josh’s long knife.

Blood sprayed once more.

The two men jumped in fright, instantly backing away, looking at Josh with increasing wariness.

Josh smirked: "Now you’re scared? Too late!"

One man angrily shouted: "And we got scared by a damn shorty? Grab her knife!"

The other man gritted his teeth and nodded: "Alright."

The pressure in the corridor dropped instantly to freezing point, with Josh holding a knife, her face as grim as a ghost from hell, emanating an intimidating aura.

"This time, you’re really dead."

Comments: [Screwed.]

[How dare you call my kid a shorty; I’ll crush you!]

[Congratulations on activating Josh’s ’Ruthless Slaughter Mode,’ little bastards, you’re doomed!]

Screams echoed continuously in the corridor.

The man who had suggested it looked in horror at his teammate’s brutal death, shaking his head in terror, while threatening: "You can’t kill me, I, I, I... our guild has a good relationship with yours!"

"Josh, you, you... I won’t kill you, just let me go, alright?"

"Little girl, don’t be mad, we were just teasing you!"

"We really meant no harm, it was just to scare you... ah!!"

Blood splattered hard against the wall.

The portraits hanging on the corridor walls exuded a strange aura under the flickering candlelight, as if they were smiling, their eyes hungrily fixed on the corpses on the ground, ready to leap out of the frames to devour them at any moment.

Josh picked up a clean piece of cloth from the corpses, wiped her knife with it, and stored it back in the warehouse, "Eat up, a treat for you."

With that, she pushed open the door and entered Room 1.

The sound of slithering movements came from the corridor, and in the blink of an eye, the entire hallway was as clean as new, with even the bloodstains on the carpet gone.

Comments: [But to be fair, isn’t Josh too ruthless?]

[Yeah, they just insulted her; she didn’t need to kill them, right? In this dungeon, there’s no Resurrection Card, so she really killed them?]

[Too brutal. I can’t see why you guys like her.]

[I was just away from the live stream for a moment, and the trolls have taken over the stream again?]

[Not interested in responding, ignorant comments.]

[Don’t generalize, alright? Who’s ignorant? Who’s the troll? I’ve followed her live streams for a few episodes, and her behavior is indeed irksome. Just casually killing people when she’s upset, what’s the justification?]

[You above, please find someone else to support. Our dear is not interested in brainless trash like you.]

[+1, I can’t make sense of the above foolish comments. Which edition of the God Creation Game says you can’t kill players? How many top players haven’t killed anyone?]

[Besides, a few people have died before, but didn’t they show up fine at the dining table? Something’s clearly wrong, how do you know my son isn’t killing real players and not monsters?]

[So stupid...]

[Being stupid is not scary, what’s scary is being stupid and judgmental.]

[Just troll antics (let me say this again, if you have money, take me with you. I can’t curse others, but I’m unmatched in cursing Josh. Self-recommendation in hopes the troll organization sees me.)]

[If you have money, take me with you. I can’t curse others, but I’m unmatched in cursing Josh. Self-recommendation in hopes the troll organization sees me.]

The comments were quickly flooded.

Josh ignored the parents fiercely arguing with the trolls, pouring herself a cup of water, her hands trembling. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Only she knew how extreme her actions were just now.

Her Life Value was rapidly depleting.

Her body’s temperature rose again.

Josh cursed softly, speculating that no matter how much medicine she took, or water she drank, or rest she got, nothing would help.

The fever was beyond her control.

Josh got cleaned up, lay on the bed, exhaled heavily, and sank into the soft bed.

The fireplace was a bit far from where she was.

She didn’t feel like moving any more, falling asleep right away, seemingly each sleep slightly restoring her Life Value.

Outside, she heard faint conversations, as if others were gradually returning to their rooms.

She tightened the blanket around her, falling into a deep sleep.

Somewhere in the dimness, something slowly approached.

Josh suddenly opened her eyes, finding the room silent, with nothing there.

She lay back down, but out of the corner of her eye, she noticed the curtains by the floor-to-ceiling window had been drawn open somehow, the window wide open, the fire in the fireplace extinguished.

Josh didn’t want to move, but had to get up to close the window and draw the curtains.

The room was pitch dark; she fumbled toward the fireplace, using the faint firelight to find some clean spare wood nearby. Just as she was about to grab it, she suddenly touched a head full of furry hair.

A woman’s soft laughter sounded in her ear.

Josh’s eye twitched, fiercely yanking the hair, pulling the ghostly head in front of her.

The female ghost accidentally locked eyes with Josh’s cold gaze, shrieked in terror, and struggled to vanish.

Only then did Josh place the wood into the fireplace, quickly building a fire, illuminating the dim room.
