Infinite Dragon Beast: Taming Ice Dragons with SSS Ranked Talent-Chapter 132: A Single Night at Lon City
The horse-drawn carriage carrying Neil and the others continued on their journey. At the first intersection, they took the left route to quickly arrive at the small town of Lon.
At that moment, Aiden and the others had already arrived in the town, right after he successfully defeated many small groups of bandits along the route to the town.
Aiden waited in front of the city gate, his hands folded with his eyes focused to the east, waiting for the horse-drawn carriage carrying Neil and the others to arrive.
"When will they actually arrive?" asked Aurora, looking curious.
The man next to Aurora shook his head, there was no exact time when Neil’s carriage would arrive. They had been waiting too long, probably because their flying speed was much faster than that of ordinary horse-drawn carriages.
"Should I check over there? Maybe there’s a group of bandits we forgot to kill," explained Amber. Aiden shook his head.
"No need. You’re all exhausted from all the fighting," explained Aiden.
"We’ll just wait for them," continued Aiden.
Amber, Aurora, and Rachel nodded. As Aiden had explained earlier, the four of them would wait in front of the gate while watching from a distance.
Half an hour later, the horse-drawn carriage carrying Neil’s group appeared on the horizon. Aiden smiled and nodded, indicating that Neil and the others had arrived.
The horse-drawn carriage passed right in front of Aiden and the others, then stopped inside the city. One by one, the members of the 17th Mage Team got out of the carriage. Aiden was shocked to see that some of them looked pale and nauseous. This was quite confusing for Aiden.
"What’s going on?" asked Aiden, looking at Neil and Allana.
"The bandits’ bodies. You should have thrown them off the road. Luca and Anna aren’t used to seeing things like that," Allana explained, pointing to the two summoners who were still nauseous, clearly imagining how brutally Aiden had killed the bandits.
Aiden smiled slightly, then laughed softly, realizing his carelessness. He hadn’t expected any mages to be uncomfortable with bloodshed, especially since they were part of a group fighting against the Xiliang Kingdom.
"Alright. I’ll be more careful tomorrow," Aiden replied. Allana and Neil nodded.
Neil turned his head and looked around the area. Lon City was much smaller than other big cities. However, it was much better to live in this small city than to continue traveling nonstop.
"We’ll take this inn, do you mind?" Neil asked, and none of them objected.
Aiden didn’t object either, as it was the only decent place to stay for them. Allana stepped inside first, booking three rooms—two for women and one for men.
Day turned to night, and Aiden didn’t expect the atmosphere in Lon City to be so quiet, even though it wasn’t yet 10 PM.
Joe was asleep, while Neil went to one of the shops to relax. Only Aiden remained in the room, staring at the dimly lit landscape of Lon City.
KNOCK!
The door was knocked softly, and Aiden could clearly hear the sound of the knock. Aiden told him to open the door, and it turned out to be Aurora.
Aurora came wearing her pajamas, looking sleepy but unable to sleep soundly. That was because Aiden wasn’t near her.
"What’s wrong, Aurora?" Aiden asked softly.
"I can’t sleep."
"Really?" Aiden asked, confirming again.
The woman with white hair tied in a ponytail nodded in agreement. She clearly said that she wanted to sleep with Aiden, even if they had to squeeze together. Aiden smiled, he could actually book another room so that he and Aurora could sleep comfortably.
Aiden turned to the side, noticing that the bed in the room wouldn’t fit four people. Aiden smiled, took Aurora’s hand, and led her to the front desk.
"I’ll book another room," said Aiden.
"I’m sorry, the regular rooms are fully booked. Would you be interested in a VIP room?" asked the receptionist. Aiden didn’t refuse.
Unlike the regular rooms, which cost 4 silver coins per room, a VIP room cost at least 7 silver coins. The VIP rooms were also located on the second floor.
After receiving the key to the VIP room, Aiden invited Aurora to go there immediately. Aurora didn’t refuse. In fact, she felt very happy because Aiden had noticed her desire without her having to express it to him.
The door to VIP Room No. 1 opened. Aiden looked around the area, which was filled with luxurious furniture that was a feast for the eyes. He hadn’t expected the difference between the regular rooms and the VIP rooms to be so significant.
As Aiden had expected, Aurora looked very enthusiastic about what was in front of her. A large bed, a clean room, the second floor, luxurious furniture, and a beautiful bathroom. Aurora felt much more comfortable sleeping in this room than in the previous regular room.
Aurora immediately took off her clothes and soaked in the bathtub. Aiden smiled at her, then walked over to the long sofa.
The man took out the wine Aurora had gotten from Feyd. For some reason, Aurora was drawn to the wine. If Aiden hadn’t been cursed to lose his sense of taste and the pleasure of intimacy, he might have also enjoyed the flavor of the wine.
The wine was poured into Aiden’s glass. He took the glass and sipped it slowly. Again, he didn’t feel anything. He only felt the bland water moistening his mouth and flowing down his throat.
"This isn’t good," Aiden said.
One glass was enough. Aiden turned around and walked toward the VIP room window. There, he stared straight ahead, observing the city at night.
From afar, Aiden saw Neil coming from the tavern, being carried by Allana. Aiden had guessed that Neil and Allana had been drinking together at the tavern.
After half an hour of silently gazing at the city, Aiden’s attention was drawn to the side when he saw Aurora coming in her nightgown, her long white hair loose and wet, her face looking satisfied after enjoying a long soak in the bathtub.
"Ahh, this is the best," Aurora praised.
Aiden chuckled, then walked back toward the sofa table. He poured wine into an empty glass, intending it for Aurora. Once it was full, he handed the glass to her.
"You’re quite romantic, Aiden," Aurora praised, smiling with a blush spreading across her face, looking shy.
"This is your favorite drink. It’s good for lifting your mood," Aiden replied.
That’s right! What Aiden said was absolutely true! Aurora’s mood suddenly became happy and relaxed after drinking her favorite wine, not just one glass, but several times until the entire bottle was empty.
Her face turned red from the alcohol affecting her face and mind. She looked at Aiden, who hadn’t drunk a single glass of wine earlier. He continued to serve Aurora with the wine.
"Why aren’t you drinking?" asked Aurora, drunk.
"It’s pointless. The drink doesn’t taste like anything on my tongue, and it doesn’t make me drunk," replied Aiden.
"Huh? Did you lose your tongue?" Aurora asked innocently.
Aiden chuckled, not expecting Aurora to ask that. However, it was clear his condition wasn’t due to losing a body part, but related to the curse magic.
"Do you remember why I didn’t die even though I was attacked with a fatal strike?" Aiden asked. Aurora shook her head.
"It’s because I’m cursed."
"Cursed?" Aurora asked, innocent and curious.
"The Magical Astralis Goddess placed a curse on me right before I reincarnated here. The effect of the curse makes me lose my sense of feeling and pleasure during sex," Aiden answered.
"So, you’re impotent?"
Aiden sighed and shook his head; talking to a drunkard would never end. Aiden stopped his story and told Aurora to rest; after all, he, Aiden, and the others were already exhausted from killing the bandits earlier that day.
Aurora initially resisted, but Aiden gently insisted. In the end, Aurora agreed to sleep if Aiden stayed with her. Aiden had no objection.
The two slept together that night without anyone knowing they had moved to the VIP room. Nothing could disturb them that night.

The next day.
Lon City Inn.
Aiden was already dressed in his golden iron armor, while Aurora was still busy soaking and pampering herself in the bathroom.
"Aiden? Are you ready?" Joe asked from outside the inn.
Not only Joe, but Neil’s group was also ready to continue their journey. According to the digital map’s estimate, they would arrive at the Yixia border by noon, exactly six hours after riding in the horse-drawn carriage.
"He’s taking so long," Allana complained.
"Could he be waiting for Aurora?" Neil asked, and Joe and the others nodded in agreement.
Aiden reappeared from inside the room, speaking to them, "You can go ahead. I’ll catch up later."
"Amber! Come to my room."
Amber turned her head, Neil nodded. As a result, Amber and Rachel went to the second floor and arrived at VIP room No. 1.
There, she saw Aiden getting ready, while Aurora was putting on her clothes. Aiden said that Aurora and he would probably be late.
"You go ahead and get rid of those bandits. I’ll be there as soon as possible to help you!"
