As soon as Rain saw those notifications, he equipped all of the skills that increased the effects of his ice magic. Frostbite, Frozen Throne, Glacic Field, Frost Armor… thanks to that, the ground around Rain began to freeze and the air as turned into crystals around him. He didn’t care about efficiency right at that moment, he just wanted to kill as many dragons as possible…

When the spear returned to his hands, Rain lowered his posture and then turned around. He saw the volcan dragon recovering it’s form while others arrived in the area… if all of them exploded, the capital definitely will fall with the blast alone. Maybe even the shields of the warriors would melt, even though they were made of dragon bones and scales.

The Dragon Meteor was a colossal and awe-inspiring creature hurtling through the capital like a body ablaze. Its body was encased in shimmering scales of various metallic hues. Its form resembled a meteor made manifest, a fusion of draconic magnificence and celestial might.

As the Dragon Meteor surged forward, an intense aura of flames enshrouded its form, creating a blazing trail in its wake. The aura danced around the dragon’s body, igniting the air around it and leaving behind a scorching path of destruction. Flames licked the ground in a fiery inferno, leaving no doubt of the dragon’s volatile and ferocious nature.

The ground quaked beneath its approach, and the air crackled with heat as the Dragon Meteor charged toward Rain. Its fiery aura intensified, leaving a wake of molten earth and scorched terrain, painting a vivid portrait of chaos and devastation in its path.

Rain didn’t hesitate and charged toward the beast as well. The impact of their collision made the entire area tremble… to the point that some buildings in the capital got several cracks. Still, the creature stopped moving eventually and then fell upward… with a large and frozen hole in it’s chest.

"He doesn’t hold back… and I only wanted to lend that for a short moment to stop the other dragons," Seadrei furrowed his eyebrows. Find exclusive stories on novelbuddy

Rain didn’t stop there, he began to charge toward the other dragon meteors… and the creatures responded accordingly. They didn’t hold back…

The sudden shift in the environment caught everyone off guard as the Meteor Dragons initiated an unprecedented display of power. With an uncanny ability, they began siphoning the ambient heat from their surroundings. The air grew frigid in an instant, chilling everything around them, while the ground frostily surrendered to the dragons’ powerful grasp.

In an inexplicable twist, the dragons’ actions took a startling turn. They started to burn with an intensity that defied logic and conventional understanding. Their once majestic bodies now glowed with an internal inferno, radiating an intense heat that defrosted even Rain’s formidable ice armor.

As the dragons blazed with an otherworldly fervor, their incandescent forms seemed to tear a rift in the sky as if creating a hole in the atmosphere itself. Sunlight poured through this cosmic tear, an amplified cascade of solar rays converging on the area. The augmented sunlight empowered the Meteor Dragons, fueling their power to unprecedented levels.

The once icy atmosphere now gave way to an inferno. The dragons became beacons of searing heat amidst the cosmic anomaly they had triggered. Their bodies blazed even brighter, and the heat they exuded intensified, transforming the battlefield into a scorching expanse of swirling heat and intensified solar radiation.

The golem dragons tried to run away, but some of them didn’t have time for that and immediately turned into dust… forgot about melting their bodies. The heat completely melted everything that they had in their bodies aside from the lifeless dust…

Seadrei a bit behind couldn’t resist the heat that the enemies summoned in the area… he began to sweat a lot while flinching… even Rain was unable to get closer despite all the skills that enhanced his ice powers.

Rain considered controlling the spear from a distance, but he knew that he might lose it, and that was trump card that he couldn’t risk it. It wasn’t even his in the first place… While the meteor dragons energized themselves with the pure power of the unblocked solar lights, Rain suddenly heard the sound of waves coming from behind.

When Rain looked over his shoulder, he saw some massive waves coming from the sides of the battlefield… it seemed that Dana, Kei, and Gila organized all the mages on the walls to summon stupid amounts of water to cool down the dragons a bit. Still, when the waters reached the area, they began to evaporate and a powerful and thick steam cloud began to take over the area.

"I am returning it to you," Rain suddenly flew backward and tossed the spear toward Seadrei.

Seadrei felt a lot better with his spear in his hands, but he frowned since Rain looked like he was escaping the battlefield. He knew that Rain wasn’t the type to run away in a situation like that, but he should have at least told him what he was going to do.

"To think that those beasts could do something like this…" Seadrei thought while the searing heat was weakening him even from a distance.

The sin of the Meteor Dragons was their unyielding greed, so consuming that it extended beyond material possessions to crave even the celestial power of the sun. Their insatiable desire to possess and control was so profound that it enabled them to manipulate sunlight itself, a clear sign of their overwhelming avarice.

Driven by an unparalleled thirst for power and dominance, the Meteor Dragons sought to claim the radiant energy of the sun, a feat that defied the natural order. Their unquenchable hunger for supremacy fueled their capacity to bend and harness the solar rays, transforming their greed into a force capable of bending the very fabric of light itself.
