Chapter 142: Satisfied

Vogue nodded slowly as understanding dawned. What Sean and his uncle were saying made complete sense.

That’s why finding an unaffiliated dual talent was so crucial to their plans. Someone with the necessary capability but without powerful backing that would complicate the arrangement.

And there was another reason dual talents were so valuable that most people didn’t openly discuss.

Dual talents had a significant advantage when advancing to the Luminous Realm. When they broke through that major threshold, they could form two separate suns inside their inner world instead of the single sun that normal cultivators created.

Having two internal suns meant twice the energy generation capacity, twice the foundation strength, and generally twice the overall combat power at every level of the Luminous Realm. It was an enormous advantage that made dual talents far more dangerous than their cultivation level alone would suggest.

Even someone with two F-Rank talents—the lowest possible grade—would still become a formidable Luminous Realm expert once they reached that stage, purely because of the dual-sun advantage.

Vogue sat in thoughtful silence for several long moments, carefully considering everything he’d learned. The risks were substantial, but the potential rewards were genuinely life-changing.

Finally, he looked up and met both their gazes.

"Alright," Vogue said decisively. "I accept your offer. I’ll help you open this Saint’s ruin and explore it together with your family’s team. In exchange, I receive the two Sky-Tier techniques, the Creation Seed, and equal rights to claim any treasures we find inside that are suitable for my cultivation path."

"Agreed," Mr. White said immediately, relief visible in his expression. "We’ll formalize the arrangement with a spiritual contract to ensure mutual trust and fair distribution." 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

They spent the next hour discussing specific details—when the expedition would take place, what preparations Vogue would need, what kind of support the Klein Family would provide, and how the treasure division would work.

Eventually, after all the things were settled and agreements were reached, they said their goodbyes. Sean and Mr. White left first to make arrangements, while Vogue remained behind for a few extra minutes.

But Vogue didn’t immediately leave the private room after they departed.

Instead, he pulled out the jade box containing the Creation Seed and stared at it with glowing, excited eyes.

A slow smirk spread across his face as he examined the dried-up seed.

The reason the Klein Family had been willing to give him this extraordinarily valuable item as part of the payment was simple—the seed was almost impossible to successfully nurture and grow. It was effectively worthless to most people because they lacked the resources to activate it.

The amount of pure energy and concentrated vitality needed to transform this dormant seed into an actual functioning internal world was almost impossible to acquire through normal means. You would need to consume hundreds of thousands of Luminous Realm beast cores, or lakes of concentrated Heaven essence, or vitality from a Grade 9 herb.

Resources on that scale simply didn’t exist for anyone below the absolute highest echelons of power. Even wealthy families like the Kleins couldn’t gather enough materials to nurture a Creation Seed, which was why it had been sitting in their treasury unused for who knew how long.

But Vogue’s smirk widened as he recalled something he had read in one of the cultivation texts stored in his system database.

There was an alternative method to nurture a Creation Seed that didn’t require external resources at all. One could replace the normal energy requirements by using the blood of a mythic-level or god-level being to directly feed and nourish the seed!

The divine essence contained in such blood would provide exactly the type of concentrated vitality and spiritual energy that the seed needed to germinate and grow into a complete world.

Of course, obtaining god-level or mythic-level blood was even more impossible than gathering normal spiritual resources. Where would anyone even find such beings to harvest from?

But Vogue wasn’t worried about that problem at all.

His Heavenly Nine-Headed Ancestral Chaos Dragon physique was borderline a god-tier bloodline! The blood flowing through his veins after his transformation carried divine dragon essence at a level that should be more than sufficient to nurture the Creation Seed.

And better yet, he possessed infinite regeneration as one of his core abilities. He could produce essentially unlimited quantities of his own divine blood without any risk to his health or cultivation.

All he needed to do was regularly extract some of his blood and feed it to the seed. Over time, the accumulated divine essence would awaken the dormant potential and cause the internal world to bloom into existence.

Vogue was genuinely excited about this prospect and couldn’t wait to begin the nurturing process once he returned home.

He carefully stored the jade box in his system inventory where it would be completely safe, then stood up and left the restaurant with a satisfied smile on his face.

Today had been extremely productive. He had gained valuable techniques, secured access to a Saint’s ruin, and acquired a treasure that would provide him with capabilities far beyond his current realm.

He was satisfied with today’s hull.

Vogue was genuinely eager to begin the process of creating his new internal world using the Creation Seed. His hands practically itched with anticipation at the thought of possessing such an incredible advantage.

But when he returned to his apartment, he found Gloria was still there waiting for him. She had made herself comfortable, preparing tea and reading through some medical journals she’d brought with her.

Vogue paused in the doorway, considering his options. The energy fluctuations from nurturing the Creation Seed and forming an internal world would be absolutely explosive. His small apartment would be completely destroyed, and there was a significant chance the building itself might suffer structural damage.

He definitely couldn’t do this delicate process here with Gloria present. It would be far too dangerous for her, and the property damage would draw unwanted attention.

So instead of staying home, Vogue made a decision. He would return to the Titan Training Hall where he used to work before his trial. The private training rooms there were specifically designed to contain massive energy fluctuations from high-level cultivation breakthroughs. They would be perfect for what he needed.
