[Dracula’s Ability]:

- Undead Authority: Undead with lower Corruption than you cannot disobey your order and are naturally afraid of you.

- Corrupting Blood: Your blood is corrupted and corrosive. Any being that touch or consume your blood shall be corrupted and damaged. (From Acid Blood - Mutated)

- Vampire Fangs: Your fangs induce venom that can stun the enemy. While biting, you may induce large amount of corruption in your venom. Survivors from Vampire Bite with Corruption may become a Vampire. (From Venomous Fang - Mutated)

Carter let go of Philip. The poor undead dropped to the ground. He twitched like a dead fish on the ground.

Philip was already corrupted. But even he couldn’t withstand this much corruption invading his blood.

First was ecstasy from the bite.

Second was anguish. Every fiber of his being screamed of terror and pain. It was difference from the last time he became an Undead. Instead of slowly changing like cancer eating away your flesh.

The Vampire Bite was forceful and aggressive. The Corruption ran along his body, tearing everything impure away from him. Those stinky rotting Undead Corruption was stripped away. The only thing left was the monstrous and graceful Corruption of Country Dracula.

Philip’s hair grew back. His skin went from gray to pale white. But his scars were still there. His disfigured face was still ugly as hell.

But his eyes were pure blood red.

Philip stood up once again. He could fill it. The change in him.

He was no longer a Pale. He was someone else. He was a vampire.

"What am I?" Philip mumbled.

The pale man smirked. Carter flicked his finger toward a wandering ghoul. It flew over because of Blood Manipulation.

Carter forced its neck toward Philip.

"Drink, my child. Drink and I shall tell you."

Philip looked at the ghoul. He had inherited Carter’s Blood Sense, a degraded version of it. But he could see the Black Blood flowing in that ghoul.

It just looked so tasty.

Philip didn’t need instructions. He knew what to do. His instinct guided him.

He opened his mouth. Two vampire fangs shot out as he bit into the neck of the pale ghoul.

Black Blood flowed into him as he used Bloodthirst, another ability he inherited from Carter.

His scars faded. His face reformed. All those marks of years and years of abuse to his body, unable to change or fix, were disappearing.

Philip cried like a puppy. He drank the ghoul to dead and dropped its stone cold body to the ground.

The once Pure Blood looked up at Carter.

"Father..." His eyes were filled with admiration and fanaticism.

Carter caressed his cheek gently. Almost loving.

"You understand my question now, my child. Who is your parent?"

"You are, Father! You are!" Philip grabbed Carter’s hand gently. It was almost like he’s afraid to break it. Philip placed his face onto Carter’s hand.

’Now this. This is what an Undead should be.’

Carter grinned widely.

The day came and Carter left the quarantined zones. He had achieved what he came here to do. To farm Dracula’s Synchronization and Undead Shards.

He earned 216 Undead Shards in total. 163 of them were minor shards. 53 were medium shards. None was a major shard.

He had a theory that only Dead Blood could yield major shard and reached Major Awaken in rank. Philip was only a Medium Awaken so Carter couldn’t verify that just yet.

Carter put on his doctor skin again and returned to the Enthrall Institute before sunrise. He had also told Philip about their limitations. Philip was more than happy to hear about their sunlight weakness, he didn’t go out much at night anyway.

When he returned to his flat, no one had woken up yet.

’That was quite an eventful night. Let’s check my shards.’

Carter fired up the Skin Forge once again. The window with the anvil and hammer appeared in front of him.

Sprinting and Spreading Undead showed up again. However, this time he found two new types of Minor Undead, Cutting and Whipping.

These two had the same uniqueness as Slicing Undead, they both had a unique item.

[Cutting Undead’s Item]:

- Gravekeeper’s Scythe: A grass cutting scythe that can cut through steel and supernatural defenses. Can be summon again after destruction (30-minute cooldown).

[Whipping Undead’s Item]:

- Sadist’s Whip: A leather whip with thorns that can extend and shorten triple its original length. Can be summon again after destruction (30-minute cooldown).

’Knife, Scythe, and Whip. All are very situational weapons.’

Carter did think about sacrificing these three to Dracula and allowed him to gain these special weapons. But he decided against it in the end. Dracula had never been a monster with weapons. The skin really didn’t need it anyway. It wouldn’t make much of a difference.

There were, however, another skins that could make the best use of it.

’Because of the variations, reaching a Major Awaken with these skins alone is not possible. But Corrupted Skeleton can bypass all of that.’

The Skin Fusion Vortex appeared once more.

To ensure the highest level for the Corrupted Skeleton, Carter fused the existing skins first.
