Infinite System Inheritor Return From The Abyss-Chapter 304 - 302: Class approved
The classroom suddenly quieted as the sound of the door opening echoed through the room.
Everyone turned their heads at once, eyes wide with expectation.
"Is it the new professor?" someone whispered.
But when the person stepped in, the room filled with sighs.
"Oh… it's just Ms. Baek," another student murmured.
Standing at the door was their homeroom professor, Ms. Baek, holding a tablet in her hands and smiling at the class's reaction.
She chuckled lightly. "Wow, I've never seen all of you look this excited to see a teacher. Someone must've leaked the surprise."
Some students looked at each other awkwardly, trying not to laugh.
Nayoung immediately sat up straight and raised her hands like she was innocent. "What? Me? Nooo… I didn't say anything!" she said with a playful grin.
Elshienne leaned to her side, whispering with a giggle, "You totally said something."
Nayoung covered her mouth and whispered back, "I didn't say the whole thing!"
Ms. Baek walked toward the desk and placed her tablet down. "Well, since the surprise is already half-spoiled… just wait a little longer. The real guest will arrive soon."
The students started whispering and murmuring with excited smiles after Ms. Baek's announcement.
"Is it a handsome guy?"
"Or a beautiful woman?"
"Please let it be someone cool!"
Boys and girls alike leaned forward in curiosity, but Ms. Baek only smiled mysteriously.
"I'm not telling," she said, shaking her head. "You'll see in just a moment."
At the back of the room, Elshienne leaned closer to Nayoung. "What if it's someone super strict?"
Nayoung whispered back, "I hope not. I want someone fun… or at least good-looking!"
Even Jin Hyu quietly mumbled, "I just hope they're not scary."
Nathan, on the other hand, had his eyes looking out the window, uninterested in the chatter around him.
Just then, there was a soft knock at the classroom door.
Ms. Baek turned toward it with a smile. "Oh, looks like our guest is here."
The door slowly opened.
Elshienne's eyes widened in shock. She quickly nudged Nathan. "Nathan—look!"
Nathan turned slowly, frowning as he stared at the woman entering. His gaze narrowed slightly. A tall woman with striking red lips and neatly styled curly hair stepped into the room. Her sharp eyes scanned the students with confidence, her heels clicking softly against the floor
Ms. Baek clapped her hands. "Everyone, this is Professor Sera Velline. She's an awakener and she'll be in charge of the new class—Specialization Discovery."
The classroom went silent for a moment before students started whispering again.
"She looks strong…"
"She's so cool…"
"She's kind of scary…"
Professor Sera gave a small, polite smile. "I'll be seeing a lot of you soon. I hope you'll be ready."
Nathan kept his eyes on her quietly while Elshienne glanced at him, wondering what he was thinking.
Jin Hyu suddenly raised his hand a little, his voice quiet but full of surprise."You're that Sera Velline?"
The class went silent for a moment. Some students looked at him, confused, while others were already whispering.
Ms. Baek chuckled and nodded. "Yes, some of you might recognize her. Professor Sera is not only a well-known model, but also one of the few people who awakened very early—much earlier than most."
Gasps and murmurs filled the room.
"No way! I saw her on a Front page!"
"She was in that commercial with swords, right?"
"She awakened before fifteen? That's super rare!"
Sera Velline gave a light nod and smiled calmly. "That's right. I awakened when I was twelve. Since then, I've been working hard both inside and outside the battlefield. Now, I want to guide the next generation."
Elshienne whispered to Nayoung, "She really is famous."
Nayoung, wide-eyed, whispered back, "I didn't expect a model professor…"
Ms. Baek clapped her hands again. "Alright, alright. That's enough whispering. You'll get to know Professor Sera more soon. For now, please give her your full attention and respect. She'll be helping lead the Specialization Discovery class."
Ms. Baek clapped her hands once more and smiled at the class."Well then, I'll leave you all in Professor Sera's care for now. I'll be back later. Behave, everyone."
"Goodbye, Ms. Baek!" some students said.
After Ms. Baek left the room, Professor Sera walked to the front with a warm and friendly smile. Her voice was soft but clear as she spoke.
"Hi, everyone. I know it might be a little surprising to see me here, but don't worry. I'm not scary," she said playfully.
Some students chuckled, and the room felt lighter.
"I'll be your professor for the new class called Specialization Discovery. But don't worry—this class is completely optional. No one is forcing you to join. It's only for those who want to try and awaken."
She looked around the room, making eye contact with a few students. Her tone was gentle.
"I know how it feels to see others awaken before you. Some of you might be thinking, 'Why not me?' This class is here to help you find your own path. We will do tests, training, and maybe, just maybe, something inside you will wake up."
Elshienne listened closely, while Nathan sat still, arms crossed but alert.
Sera smiled again and added, "You are not weak just because you haven't awakened yet. Sometimes, the strongest powers take the longest time to show."
Some students nodded slowly, their eyes more hopeful than before. Sera's kind way of speaking made it easy to trust her.
"For today, we won't do anything difficult. I'll just ask you to write your name on this list," she said, holding up a clipboard. "Only if you're interested. No pressure."
Professor Sera smiled warmly at the class, her voice calm and smooth."I know this class can sound scary. But I want you to take your time," she said, walking slowly in front of the desks. "No one is forcing you. Think about it. Talk to your friends. Talk to your family."
She stopped and looked around the room. "This class is here to help. I will not push anyone to awaken. But if you want to try, I'll be here."
The room stayed quiet. Students looked thoughtful, some even hopeful.
Then suddenly, a hand shot up from the back.
"Professor! What about you?" a boy asked. "What's your class? You're an awakener, right?"
Professor Sera blinked, then chuckled softly. "Ah, curious, are we?"
The students leaned in.
She smiled and placed her hand on her chest. "My class is called Illusion Dancer. I awakened when I was 13. I specialize in creating illusions, confusing enemies, and supporting my allies."
Some students gasped, a few whispered to each other in excitement.
"No way, that's cool."
"I heard it's a rare class…"
Sera laughed lightly. "Yes, it's not very common. But it's helped me a lot—and I hope I can use what I've learned to help you, too."
She placed it on the front desk. "If you have questions, feel free to ask me after class."
Later on, after the short question and answer part, Professor Sera stood up again in front of the class.
"Okay, everyone," she said with a soft smile. "Before we move on, please pass your paper to the front. Just write your name if you want to join this class. No one is forcing you, so only write it if you really want to."

The students started filling out the paper, one by one.
Elshienne quickly wrote her name and nudged Nathan. He looked at her quietly for a second, then took the pen and wrote his name, too.
Nayoung whispered to Jin-Hyu, "Are you writing yours?"
Jin-Hyu nodded a little and started writing. "Yeah… I want to try."
Soon, all the papers were passed to the front. Professor Sera took them and scanned the names. Her hands paused, and her smile turned soft.
She suddenly covered her mouth, her eyes watering a little.
"Huh?" Nayoung said quietly, confused. "Is she crying?"
Sera laughed gently. "Sorry, everyone. I just… I didn't expect this."
She looked at the students and held up the paper.
"Every single one of you… wrote your name."
The class went silent for a moment.
"I really didn't think this would happen," she said, wiping her eyes. "Thank you. I'm truly thankful. I promise to guide you safely and do my best."
Some students looked surprised, others touched.
Nathan looked at her, then at the paper, but didn't say anything. Elshienne smiled softly. Nayoung leaned back in her chair, whispering to herself, "She really cares…"
