Infinite Wealth System: Crazy Tasks, Insane Rewards!-Chapter 29: I Love You, Jayden
Chapter 29 - I Love You, Jayden freēwēbηovel.c૦m
Jayden blinked, caught between two voices.
One sweet and sultry from the kitchen doorway.
The other sharp and curious through the phone.
"Babe?" Temi's voice sliced through the air with a cautious warmth, her brows slightly furrowed, towel in one hand, as she gave a sharp stare. "Who are you talking to?"
Jayden was completely lost for words at that moment, stunned.
Shit! Camillia is still on the call!
He didn't know whether to end the call or not, but he knew Camillia would surely suspect something if he did.
"Jayden? What's going on?" Camillia asked, her tone changing.
> [Tell her it's your friend and find a way to lie around it later. Temi is not the problem. Camillia is.]
The system suddenly brought a tip, brightening Jayden's face at once.
"Nothing... Nothing, actually. It's just my friend. She needs my help with something real quick. I'll chat you up later. I promise," Jayden said as he quickly ended the call.
And just as he hung up, Temi moved closer.
"Why did you lie?" she asked.
Jayden tried to speak but paused... seemingly like he had nothing to say.
"It's okay. I just want to be sure of one thing... I am your girlfriend, right?" Temi asked with a straight look, walking toward Jayden.
"Yes. Of course you are," Jayden replied, nodding.
"That's the only thing I want to hear," Temi said, giving a wide smile as she blushed.
Just like that...
She wasn't angry. She wasn't even probing. Just... a little curious, which had already died down the moment he made that statement.
Soft. Blinded by the warmth in her heart that refused to see shadows, she kissed him on the forehead.
"She sounded kind of upset," Temi said as she rested a hand on his shoulder. "Was everything okay?"
Jayden turned, smiling. That effortless charm that used to work on stages now danced for one girl at a time.
"Just someone from the past. I helped her out once, she probably wants another favor. You know how people get when they think you owe them something," he lied.
Temi tilted her head, studying him.
Then she nodded.
"Hmm. That makes sense," she said, before playfully ruffling his hair. "Well, if she's calling you for help, then she's smart. You've got a good heart, Jay."
Jayden relaxed more than he thought he would.
She really believed him.
"I prepared some delicious food," Temi then announced. "I made chicken fried rice and suya skewers. You better eat all of it or I'm dragging your stubborn self back home with me."
Temi quickly rushed to the kitchen to get the food while Jayden watched her go, speechless for a moment.
That was too easy. Wasn't she supposed to at least question him harder?
It was strange for a girl to act this way, a clearly rare reaction to a greatly suspicious occurrence.
However, Temi was calm. Calmer than ever, like nothing was on her mind. And it clearly seemed that way.
> [Temi's Affection has crossed 60%. That's why she never found the whole thing suspicious. She has been blinded by love, and it would be hard for her to go hard on you anytime soon.]
It was then the system revealed this.
"Whoa... I knew it," Jayden muttered.
> [Why do you think I tasked you to raise her Affection to 60% in the first place?]
"To prevent me from sinking into shit. Got it," Jayden nodded with a smirk.
> [The harem progress wouldn't work if cases like this occur. This means you'd have to do what you have to do to sustain it.]
"Noted," Jayden nodded.
> [The next time you meet Camillia, make sure to do the needful.]
The system advised, and he clearly knew what that meant. It was actually going to be the same case as Temi's.
Soon, Temi brought out two plates for Jayden and herself and placed them on the table.
They both began to feast, and while they ate, a certain thought flashed in Temi's mind.
"Uhm... I've been wanting to ask. Why are you still living here though? It's very nice after the renovation, but you know, it's not quite your standards, Jay," Temi said, her face demanding a response.
Jayden stopped torturing the delicious food and drank three mouthfuls of water before replying to her.
"Well, I know. I'm planning to build a good home before I move out. Perhaps you might just have forced me to leave right away," Jayden said.
"No. I don't want you to leave. I just wanted to know why you're still here. But it's fine, we can stay here as long as possible since the house is still under construction," Temi said, smiling.
"Cool. You just have to decide. I can rent a penthouse on Slava Island for as long as we need to stay till the building is complete, if you want," Jayden smiled back.
"Ah, no way... That's too much," Temi quickly shook her head at that idea.
"You are a nice guy, babe. A sweet guy too," she added, staring right into his eyes.
Jayden looked at her as well, their gaze meeting sharply. There was a clear sense of transparency with every blink, like they both knew what was on each other's minds.
"I don't know how to thank you... You gave me something that changed my life greatly just a few days ago, and now you've added another. I know I can't repay you fully, but I can give back in the slightest," Temi said.
Jayden watched her stand up from her seat and approach him, locking eyes with his.
Swiftly, she moved the table aside and sat firmly on his lap.
"I love you, Jayden."
At that instant, Temi clashed her lips against his and began to kiss him hard, her lips clustering around his.
Jayden didn't dull either as he grabbed her waist and drew her closer, caressing her back and pressing her butt in turns.
"Mm-hmm..."
Second time making out, and it only got sweeter.
Jayden was lost again, forgetting that he had left his meal unfinished...
At this point, who cares?
There was a lot more delicious food in front of him... One that he couldn't wait to eat.
Soon, they landed on the bed, continuing the kissing session.
Her lips slid over his.
Her tongue glided over his.
The rhythm was cold, like the wind that comes after a rainfall.
"Mmm~."
Soon, Jayden settled on the bed, and Temi instinctively crawled down to a certain point, where a large dragon had already risen, begging to be let out.
Temi smiled, impatient, as she unzipped him and grabbed Jayden's rod.
"Oh... Yeah..." she murmured in that crazily soft tone, stroking the dragon with her right hand.
Before Jayden could even realize it, the baddie already made the best move...
Soon, she opened her wet, soft mouth, letting the dragon sink in as she made the first suck.
"Uhh~hhh!"
Jayden suddenly felt himself in another world, his eyes dilating.
Really... It was the first time he was experiencing such a feeling in his entire life.
