Infinity, The Arcade Age-Chapter 507: You Again?!
Chapter 507: Chapter 507: You Again?!
In the city, Qin Ming, having flown all the way here, quickly reformed into his human shape and bought a hat to wear on his head.
He had no idea when—or if—his hair would grow back. Hopefully it would. If not, he’d have to look into hair restoration.
After all, he really didn’t want to go around flaunting a shiny bald head.
In terms of a martial arts duel, Qin Ming had lost to Akuma. But as an adventurer, he’d actually won.
If he had wanted to, he could’ve taken advantage of his victory and finished Akuma off.
But Qin Ming hadn’t done that—because compared to a high-grade key, he valued his own growth more.
He had just broken through a major threshold and his current state wasn’t yet stable. His fighting technique hadn’t reached its peak either.
Killing Akuma now wouldn’t bring much benefit. It was better to let him live.
Once his own strength stabilized, his fusion with the killing intent deepened, and his martial arts matured, then he could return and challenge Akuma again in a true, fair fight—and win decisively.
Given Akuma’s personality, there was no doubt he’d accept a death match.
Experts on Akuma’s level were hard to come by. It was better to keep one around. Otherwise, when Qin Ming was ready and couldn’t find a worthy opponent to push himself further, that would be awkward.
As for whether Akuma might die from that last heavy blow?
Qin Ming was sure that someone who had walked the Asura Path alone wouldn’t be that fragile. Akuma would survive. Maybe he’d even grow stronger—strong enough to wait for their next fight.
Standing on a busy city street, watching the crowds of people pass by, Qin Ming felt a surreal sense of detachment.
That brief moment under the assault of endless killing intent had felt like years inside his mind, a replay of the training experiences of countless top fighters.
That was the main reason why he’d managed to break through in martial arts on his own. It wasn’t because he was especially smart or talented—he’d simply brute-forced his way through with sheer volume.
Patting his bare head, he found a spot to summon Kasamoto Eri, then pulled out the King of Fighters manual and called for this round’s random fighter.
As the figure emerged from the glow, Qin Ming’s expression turned flat, his eyes full of dislike.
"...Seriously, senior sister, did you bribe the KOF manual? Why is it always you?"
Mai Shiranui stepped out of the light, rotating her shoulders—and immediately pouted.
"You’re complaining about me?"
"Nope."
"Back when you took me as your master, you didn’t complain! When you were taking advantage of me, you didn’t complain! Now I can’t teach you anymore and suddenly I’m useless?! Qin Ming, you’re expelled from the sect!"
"Again? How many times is that now?"
"This time it’s for real!"
"Alright, alright, fine, for real. Anyway, I’m going to grab a bite. You coming?"
"If I go with you, you’re expelled again!"
So once again officially kicked out of his sect as usual, Qin Ming brought along his two personal guardians and found a little street-side eatery to fill his stomach.
As a ninja, Mai Shiranui cared a lot about her figure—too much weight and she wouldn’t be able to jump properly.
Even now, as a vampire—one of Qin Ming’s direct-lineage mutated vampires—eating didn’t actually make her gain weight, yet she still ate very little.
Just how little did she eat? In Qin Ming’s words: even if you gave that portion to a cat, the cat would turn its nose up at it.
Kasamoto Eri, on the other hand, ate with the unrestrained appetite of a soldier—naturally, she had a huge appetite.
As for Qin Ming? The fact that he didn’t start gnawing on the table was already a testament to his self-control.
When others said they could eat a whole cow, it was a figure of speech. When Qin Ming said it, it was a literal description.
The surrounding customers were stunned by his monstrous appetite... though their shock soon shifted in another direction, as they all turned their heads toward something else.
Following their gazes, Qin Ming’s eyes went wide the moment he saw it.
Because seated there—was a stunning beauty.
Don’t get the wrong idea. Qin Ming had seen plenty of beauties before. His collection of lewd manuals was thick, and almost every character had maxed-out affection toward him. He had dumped piles of money into upgrading those manuals, refining them all the way to Brilliant Legendary tier.
Because of that, nearly every character in his King of Fighters roster had sky-high affection for him—except for one: Shermie, the disciple of the Wind of Disaster, Goenitz, and someone who held a deep grudge against him. Her hostility was off the charts.
Even then, he still managed to hook up with her.
The good news? Shermie had a figure that was absurdly good—like, cartoonishly perfect.
The bad news? Ever since that night, Qin Ming had gotten into the habit of keeping his invincibility form active while being intimate.
Why? Because that woman, hell-bent on revenge, had somehow learned a "special finisher" move that turned her into a human meat grinder. She went all out in her... alternative method of getting even with him—and with her master’s grudge.
But that wasn’t why Qin Ming’s jaw was hanging open now. What had caught his attention was the woman’s appetite. She was eating almost as much as he was.
And her figure...
With a strange look in her eyes, Mai Shiranui quietly leaned in beside Qin Ming and whispered, "Junior brother, are all the women in this world built like that? Her legs look thicker than my waist."
Qin Ming kept a straight face and shook his head. "Not look like—they are thicker. I know exactly how small your waist is."
"Then her figure..."
"You don’t get it. In this world, all high-level fighters are built like tanks. The stronger they are, the more jacked they get. This isn’t like your world, where it’s all slim arms and legs. They can’t even crush a watermelon between their thighs and still wanna brawl."
"Watermelon? Stick your head in there! Her legs look like they could pop your skull like a melon!"
Right as Mai blurted that out, her voice caught.
Because maybe—just maybe—she’d said it too loud. The girl across from them, the one eating noodles, suddenly paused and looked up, seemingly having noticed something.
Startled, both Mai and Qin Ming turned around like guilty thieves, immediately pretending like nothing had happened. Only Kasamoto Eri, still straddling her stool, kept openly staring with wide, curious eyes.
It wasn’t until Qin Ming smacked her on the back of the head and yanked her stool around that her unblinking gaze was finally broken.
Talking about someone’s figure right in front of them and getting caught was beyond embarrassing.
And just as the three of them turned their backs, footsteps suddenly approached. In the next second, a figure appeared in front of them.
Hearing the sound, the three of them looked up—only to see a young woman with a tight training outfit and a signature double-bun hairstyle standing before them, wearing a stern expression.
Seeing her unmistakable outfit, Qin Ming’s lips twitched, and he immediately guessed her identity.
This was none other than the first lady of Street Fighter herself! The undisputed Street Fighter mascot—
Chun-Li!
A character who had appeared in every generation of the franchise, whose game developers—desperate to preserve her popularity and marketability—had refused to assign a canon partner. Even by the time Street Fighter 6 rolled around, she was still single.
Thanks to the unique martial arts system of the Street Fighter world, Chun-Li, despite just reaching adulthood, had a physique that was honed to perfection. She was thick—no, ripped—to a ridiculous degree.
Especially those legs, forged through years of kicking techniques. They lived up to what Mai had said earlier—
Yes, those thighs really could crush a man’s head like a watermelon.
