Chapter 509: Chapter 509: First Encounter with Shadaloo

"You all better come out right now!"

She had only gone in for a quick shower, yet somehow her home had become a public viewing area! If she hadn’t sensed those last few people sneaking in, she might’ve ended up bathing completely on display.

Just thinking about it made Chun-Li’s fury boil over. With a flick of her arm, a surge of Ki burst outward, causing the water droplets clinging to her body to shoot out like blades.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

A chorus of metallic sounds rang out as the barrage hit its targets—those hiding in the shadows had no choice but to leap out.

On the left side: Kasamoto Eri, Mai Shiranui, and Qin Ming.

On the right: three unfamiliar men.

One was large and brawny, the other slender—he was the one Qin Ming’s group had noticed leaving the restaurant earlier. As for the man in the middle, he wore a flamboyant bodysuit, steel claws on his hands, and a patterned mask on his face.

The moment they were all forced into the open, both sides formed a tense standoff with Chun-Li, who stood at the center gripping the shower curtain in front of her.

The masked man’s two companions were clearly stunned when they saw Qin Ming’s group.

The three parties spoke almost simultaneously:

"Mai Shiranui?! Kasamoto Eri?!"

"Adventurers?!"

"Who the hell are you?!"

"When did you sneak in?!"

"Before you did!"

"Why were you trying to enter my room?!"

"You were all spying on Chun-Li in the shower! Bunch of perverts!"

"Don’t slander us! We weren’t spying—we were staking out the target! Standing up for justice!"

"SHUT UP!!!"

Hearing all the chaos and realizing they were openly arguing about spying on her while she was bathing, Chun-Li’s face turned beet red as she bellowed in outrage.

Finally, the room went quiet.

Clutching the curtain tightly to cover her chest, Chun-Li glared murderously at everyone present. Her expression practically screamed: I’m going to kill someone today.

Especially when her eyes locked onto Qin Ming.

Those three—Eri, Mai, and Qin Ming—had somehow snuck in without her noticing at all. Who knew how long they had been standing there?!

It was one thing if the girls had seen something—they were all women after all.

But that big guy? Absolutely unacceptable!

If she didn’t beat him within an inch of his life, she might as well hand in her badge as an Interpol agent!

"You’d better tell me who you all are—now!"

At Chun-Li’s second roar, the various people exchanged glances.

The next moment, the masked man—who had been silent all this time—suddenly spoke in a chillingly soft voice:

"We are those sent to kill you."

Before Chun-Li could react, he charged forward in a flash, claws gleaming as he slashed straight toward her face—his attack merciless and swift.

Hearing the rushing wind, Chun-Li quickly dodged, slipping past several slashes. But then—

BOOM!

A loud explosion echoed at her feet.

The floor beneath her suddenly began to ripple and surge, as if it had come alive. In an instant, it coiled around her legs like snakes, binding her in place.

Innate Skill: Earth Mastery!

Caught off guard, Chun-Li lost her balance and fell backward, her face filled with shock.

This bizarre power was clearly something she had never encountered before.

Taking advantage of the opening, the masked man shot forward, his steel claws gleaming with a cold light. Without hesitation, he slashed toward Chun-Li’s chest!

BOOM!

Before the claws could strike, a piercing wind roared in from the side. Hearing the sudden gust, the masked man’s pupils contracted—his body twisted like a swallow in flight, flipping midair to retreat.

He landed steadily, claws raised in a defensive stance, brows furrowing.

In front of him, a Hadoken-like energy wave smashed into the wall and instantly blew the entire section apart.

Seeing such terrifying destructive force, the masked man couldn’t help but suck in a sharp breath.

Across from him, Qin Ming slowly lowered his arm after unleashing the blast, staring coldly in his direction.

The two locked eyes as tension thickened. The masked man narrowed his eyes.

"And who might you be? Shadaloo business—don’t stick your nose where it doesn’t belong!"

His threatening tone only made Qin Ming smirk. Lifting one hand, blood began to swirl around his palm like a vortex.

"Shadaloo? I came here to beat the crap out of Shadaloo."

Hearing this, the masked man slowly stood upright and removed his mask, revealing an unnaturally handsome—almost too handsome—face that leaned toward the androgynous.

His gaze fixed sharply on Qin Ming, his eyes turning colder by the second.

"So you came looking for us? What an ugly bastard. I hate fighting filthy things like you. Earth, Sky—you two handle him. I’ll go play with the pretty ones."

With that, he raised his arms, claws gleaming once more, and dashed toward his new targets.

This strikingly vain and obviously superficial man was none other than Balrog, one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Shadaloo—the infamous Claw Wielder!

As a professional assassin, Balrog had a peculiar obsession: he judged people entirely by their looks and took great pride in his own appearance.

The more beautiful his opponent, the more excited he became. In contrast, people like Qin Ming—who practically had "rugged brute" written all over them—were totally not his type.

So after issuing his orders, Balrog charged without hesitation toward Kasamoto Eri and Mai Shiranui.

The two women were undeniably gorgeous, but what truly intrigued him was how different their physiques were from other fighters in this world—lean, graceful, and slim.

Slim? What was that?Didn’t martial arts training usually make fighters bulkier and more muscular?

Balrog had to admit—facing opponents like these stirred his excitement.

As Balrog leapt over him, flying toward the girls with terrifying speed, Qin Ming merely glanced at him, then looked away without the slightest concern.

He turned his eyes to the two remaining enemies across from him and raised an eyebrow.

"Heh... Adventurers?"

Hearing his murmur, the two—code-named Sky and Earth—immediately shifted their stances and shouted harshly:

"Bringing Kasamoto Eri was already pushing it! But now you’ve got the nerve to flaunt Mai Shiranui too? You’re asking for death!"

It was clear they were jealous—some people just couldn’t handle the fact that Qin Ming could summon someone like Mai.

Not wanting to waste time on talk, the two moved in sync.

Earth let out a roar and slammed both palms to the ground. In the next moment, the bricks surged like waves, crashing forward toward Qin Ming.

At the same time, Sky clasped his hands together as translucent air cannons formed behind him—whoosh! They shot out in a dense barrage.

Heaven and Earth Strike Together!Their coordination was flawless—it was obvious they were longtime teammates.
