Chapter 515: Chapter 515: Assassination Squad

After pinpointing the entrance to Shadaloo’s secret base on the laptop, the group quickly decided to infiltrate it that very night.

As for why they had to go at night? Well, everyone knows "a dark, windy night is perfect for shady business"—and it certainly adds to the atmosphere.

More importantly, imagine showing up during the day only to find the bad guys aren’t home... how awkward would that be?

With that, they prepped their gear and checked their equipment. As a soldier and an Interpol agent respectively, Guile and Chun-Li were clearly professionally trained and showed serious discipline.

In stark contrast, Qin Ming and his group looked completely laid-back.

Kasamoto Eri was technically a soldier too—but she fought almost entirely by instinct. Things like tactics and planning had always been handled by her teammates. Her job was simply to charge in and brawl.

That kind of background explained her lazy personality... and how she ended up being such a good fit with Qin Ming.

The fact that she even glanced down to check whether her gun was loaded already counted as meticulous inspection for her.

Oh, and she also had to check on her vodka stash—that part needed close attention.

Just as everyone finished gearing up and were about to head out, Mai Shiranui—already at the doorway—suddenly froze in place.

She raised her hand to signal everyone to stop, furrowing her brows as she scanned the surroundings.

Despite being a somewhat unmotivated ninja, Mai still retained her professional instincts.

Years of training had heightened her senses beyond the average person’s. She could vaguely pick up something... off.

She listened quietly for two seconds—and then her eyes flew wide open in realization as she shouted:

"Trouble! Helicopters incoming! Take cover!"

As she spoke, she dove straight toward Chun-Li—her new bestie whom she’d bonded with almost instantly over their similar temperaments—tackling her to the ground.

Quick-thinking Kasamoto Eri and Guile immediately darted left and right, diving for cover as well.

The only one still standing in the middle of the room was Qin Ming, who remained motionless with his arms crossed, slowly turning his head to glance out the window.

And at nearly the exact moment Mai gave her warning, blinding lights poured in from outside—followed by a deafening roar.

Three heavily armed attack helicopters were descending from above, appearing just beyond the window.

And the instant they came into view, the rotary cannons mounted underneath them began to spin. freёwebnoѵel.com

A barrage of bullets tore through the air, smashing the windows into shards. Furniture was obliterated as the hail of gunfire sent debris flying in every direction.

In mere seconds, the room was in ruins—total devastation.

Yet Qin Ming stood tall in the middle of it all, arms still folded, unmoving. A halo of blood flowed around him.

Bullets swarmed toward him—but every round that struck the blood barrier was instantly deflected, scattering sparks in all directions.

When the helicopters saw that their machine guns weren’t even scratching him, all three shifted their aim and focused fire directly on Qin Ming.

The density of bullets tripled instantly. Sparks from the impacts blazed into an unbroken curtain of light in front of him.

But even so, thanks to the reinforced blood defense empowered by his Vajra Body skill, not a single bullet could break through.

And just as the helicopters intensified their assault, the blood swirling before Qin Ming abruptly scattered—transforming into countless droplets that shot out like a crimson storm.

The Golden Arhat Body granted terrifyingly high defense, turning the blood droplets into something nearly indestructible.

With Killing Intent Wave acting as kinetic propulsion, the blood droplets that Qin Ming launched were both fast and hard. Even the bulletproof glass on the helicopters couldn’t withstand the impact.

The sharp clink-clink-clink sounds blurred into a constant screech as the helicopters were pelted. One of the aircraft was instantly riddled with holes at the front.

Two of the helicopters suffered internal damage, trailing black smoke as they spiraled downward.

The remaining one had its glass and pilot both completely pierced. The pilot, now full of bloody holes, collapsed lifelessly over the controls. The chopper, spinning out of control, barreled forward—straight at Qin Ming.

With a loud boom, the massive helicopter crashed through the window, charging right at him.

Seeing this, Qin Ming’s pupils shrank. He finally uncrossed his arms and swung one of them forcefully.

His thick arm cleaved downward, wrapped in swirling blood and Killing Intent Wave.

Modified! Sonic Boom Slash!

VMMM!

A flash of crimson light split the air, accompanied by a harsh screeching sound.

As the slashing energy tore forward, the charging helicopter was cleanly bisected in midair—sliced neatly in half.

The split aircraft whistled past Qin Ming on either side before crashing into the rear wall, erupting into a massive explosion that lit up the entire room.

Having cleaved a helicopter in two with a single strike, Qin Ming calmly returned to his previous stance, arms crossed again as he stared forward expressionlessly.

And there, just beyond the smoke, over a dozen figures leapt down from the helicopters and landed inside the building.

They stood up in unison, forming a neat line and fixing sharp gazes on Qin Ming.

Among them were women dressed in form-fitting combat suits, towering muscular men, and a few eccentrically dressed individuals.

Those in the back were clearly adventurers—only adventurers would wear such mismatched gear.

But the ones in the front...

Qin Ming narrowed his eyes at the two women in tight combat uniforms. Both were stunningly beautiful, yet radiated killing intent.

"December Guards?"

The so-called December Guards were an assassination squad formed by Vega. He had handpicked young girls with extraordinary talent from across the world, brainwashing and brutally training them into living weapons.

Although the initial selection involved over a hundred candidates, only twelve survived and qualified—thus the name December Guards.

As for why Vega chose females instead of the more physically dominant males?

Because women had a natural edge in assassination work. They were easier to embed within enemy ranks.

Given the choice between a delicate beauty and a burly brute, most people would instinctively guard against the latter—even if both were equally deadly.

The two women before him now were both members of this elite squad—one wielding a long spear, the other favoring hand-to-hand combat.

Standing beside them was a heavily built man with an upright, bizarre hairstyle.

The moment Guile saw him, his eyes widened and he called out in excitement:

"Nash?! Is it really you?! You’re alive? That’s amazing!"

That burly man with the wild upright hair—strikingly similar to Guile’s own "broom head"—was none other than Nash, Guile’s close friend who had gone missing while investigating Shadaloo.

But Nash’s expression remained blank, his eyes cold. He didn’t respond to Guile’s voice at all.

Instead, he quickly raised his fists and shouted:

"Attack! Kill them all!"

As soon as he gave the order, he charged forward, the others close behind.

With one of the Four Heavenly Kings, Barok, already slain, Shadaloo had finally been provoked—and now they’d dispatched an elite assassination squad to eliminate everyone by force!
