The voice of the person who had spoken was extremely cold, in that even the other trainees who were watching the show trembled.

At the same time, the trainees looked at the person who was holding Evan’s shoulder with shock in their eyes.

Previously, while watching as Evan clashed with the two ladies, they suddenly noticed a figure approaching at an incredible speed. The speed was almost inhuman, that the entire group was left amazed and frightened at the same time.

The person who was currently holding Evan back was none other than their instructor, Peter.

This guy had a bulky frame, with short black hair and brown eyes. His tanned skin was fully exposed in the military vest that he was currently wearing, especially those bulky biceps.

The thing that shocked most of the trainees was the fact that, despite his bulky body, this instructor’s speed was incredible.

The thing that had intimidated them from the start regarding this instructor was his bulky frame. As for his strength, he had demonstrated it once, which was something that terrified most of them.

"Peter, I- Aaah!" Evan was just about to explain himself when he suddenly screamed from the tremendous pain that came from his shoulder.

It turned out that as soon as he began speaking, Peter began applying pressure on his shoulder bone, causing him tremendous pain.

While Evan was still screaming, Peter looked at him with a cold gaze and said, "When you are here, any form of familiarity disappears. Don’t think that just because I am comrades with your brother, I will give you any special treatment.

You, just like the others, are a new recruit. Every recruit has to follow the order given by the instructor. If you disobey, you should be ready to face the punishment. I believe that I had already said this clearly before the training officially began.

So, if you are thinking of leveraging your brother’s influence in order to bully others, then this place is not for you. We do not train bullies here, we only train soldiers.

During this time, while Peter was speaking, not even once did he release the pressure that he was putting on Evan. So, all this while, Evan was continuously screaming from the tremendous pain that he was experiencing.

It was only after Peter had finished speaking that he released Evan, while looking at the other recruits, who were completely shocked.

At this moment, the other recruits finally understood the reason why Evan was so bold. It turned out that he had a brother who had already joined this organization before.

Most probably, his brother held quite a high position within the organization, which was why this guy was quite arrogant.

Some of them, who had been looking down on Evan felt sweat trickling down their backs, as they felt as though they had just dodged a bullet.

On the other hand, both Kate and Lina were also surprised. They also finally understood why this guy was so overconfident.

It was just that, despite knowing about Evan’s background, neither of them was intimidated. Since this was some kind of special organization by the government, it was impossible for no one to be there to be able to restrict Evan’s brother.

Still, I hope that you don’t get engaged in another fight, unless you are permitted to. So, just maintain the discipline, and your time here might be enjoyable."

Immediately after he said those words, he did not care about how Kate and Lina reacted, instead, he turned to Evan and said, "As for you, come with me. Just like I said before, whoever breaks the rules, they will receive their due punishment."

After he said those words, Peter turned around and left. Evan, still clutching his shoulder, where Peter was holding him before, glared at Peter’s back.

Then, he shifted his gaze and looked at Kate and Lina. His eyes seemed to be giving them a warning, or maybe a promise, because just after gazing at them for about 2 seconds, he turned around and followed after Peter.

"Are you not afraid of his background? After all, what would happen if his brother targets you?" After Peter and Evan had left, Lina suddenly asked Kate.

"Doesn’t really matter. If the brother gets involved in this, and doesn’t care about what had happened, then I would rather not join this organization.

If they can treat me unfairly now, would that not imply that in the future, they might as well steal my merits? So, if something like that happens, then I would just leave." Kate simply shook her head as she said.

To her, this was just a channel that she could use in order to be able to get revenge and achieve some of her ambitions.

But if it was something that would lead to her being continuously bullied, or being forced to do something against her wishes, she would rather not use this method.

At the end of the day, it was not as though this was the only method that she had that she could use in order to achieve revenge.

There were several other metals, it was just that they were not as efficient as joining NEXUS.

"You are quite bold. Though, what would happen if they don’t allow you to leave?" Lina smiled slightly, before she suddenly asked once again.

To this, Kate frowned slightly, as he found that this was actually kind of troublesome.

During the time that they were within the training camp, none of them had a phone or any other communication device on them. They had all been confiscated.

They were only given back to them when they were allowed to leave the training camp. And even during the time that they were leaving the training camp, they would be taken out on a bus.

Additionally, the windows of the car were tinted black, to the extent that it was impossible for anyone to be able to see outside the bus.

As for looking outside through the windscreen, it was impossible, considering that the driver and the passengers were in different compartments.

So, after getting on the bus, until they arrived at their destination, they did not know the way. They did not even know if the bus just went around in circles, before going a little distance into a nearby city, or if it really was far from a city.

Regardless, in a situation where she was not allowed to leave, Kate also realized that it would be troublesome. Still, she thought, even if they would not allow her to leave, she would still find her own methods of leaving.

As long as she could get a communication device, she could communicate with either her family or Michael, so that they could pick her up.

"That is something that I will have to deal with when the time comes to it, and it actually happens. What about you? Are you not afraid of him?" Kate’s furrowed brows eased as she asked.

"For me, if he comes again, I will beat him up. And if he involves his brother, I will beat him up as well. For me, it doesn’t really matter if he comes alone, with his brother, or with his entire family. No matter how many of them come, I will just beat them all up." Lina responded nonchalantly, not caring about the fact that a few recruits could hear her.

Kate on the other hand was left speechless by Lina’s confidence. She was not sure where Lina got all the confidence that she had, but was she not overreaching?

Just judging by Peter’s action, and the strength that he had demonstrated before the training officially began, she could understand that he was extremely strong.

Since he was comrades with Evan’s brother, it was clear that Evan’s brother was also a veteran. His strength was sure to be far above that of a new recruit.

While she understood that Lina was stronger than most of the recruits, if not all, still, there was still quite some difference between new recruits and veterans.

Still, looking at the expressions of the nearby recruits, Kate decided not to pursue this matter for now. She thought, she would talk to Lina later on, so that she would not become overconfident.

"Let’s go, let’s find somewhere else to relax for a bit. There is going to be a few minutes before the next session, let’s rest as much as we can." Kate said as she led the way towards a nearby shade, completely ignoring the murmurs of the surrounding crowd.
