Information to Mastery: Points Store System-Chapter 246: Sorrow, Show of Power

When Marion did not respond for quite a while, Abel frowned. At this point, anger began emerging within his heart.

He growled, "What is going on? Is he perhaps stopping you from speaking?"

It was only when Abel asked that question that Marion finally revealed, "Uncle Zachary died on the same day as aunt. The one who saved me was their son."

At this point, all the anger that had already begun building up within Abel’s heart completely disappeared. He was left dumbfounded, not sure how to react.

Both of them had passed away? And the one who had saved their daughter was actually their nephew?

Abel felt ashamed of himself. He had thought that Zachary was the reason why Marion had not spoken for a while. It turned out that it was because of this sad news.

At this point, the couple was not really sure on what to say. Both Cynthia and Zachary had disappeared for many years. Nobody was able to tell where they had gone to, despite all the efforts that they had put in.

In the end, both of them somehow died. And, their son had helped out, in a situation where all hope was lost. If Marion had ended up being kidnapped, that would have spelled the end of the Wilson family.

Finally, a few seconds later, Abel asked for the exact situation. And with that, Marion explained what Michael had told her before.

Of course, she did not mention in detail what had really happened when Michael saved her. She just said that it was a coincidence that Michael was passing by, and he saved her.

It was only when she introduced herself, that Michael asked if she knew of Cynthia Wilson. It was then that they came to know that they were actually related.

Additionally, she mentioned about the death of both Zachary and Cynthia, claiming that it was definitely not a natural death. Most probably, it was an accident, but she was not sure, as Michael had not elaborated on the matter.

"By the way, there is one more thing that I need to inform you. I asked Mike for help, and he promised that he would help us solve the situation with the Laito family." In the end, Marion also revealed this information.

It was only then that both Abel and Anna understood that Michael was not simple. Most probably, he had already been acknowledged by the Santos family. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

Even though they were inclined not to ask for the Santos family’s help, but what could they do in this situation? Michael had already saved Marion.

Of course, Abel did not want to receive help for nothing. He thought, since the Santos family was helping out, he would try to help out where he could.

If the Wilson family was compared to the Santos family, it was a difference between an ant and an elephant. But even then, Wilson believed that there were things that the Santos family might not be able to deal with, while the Wilson family could.

So, he informed Marion that he should inform Michael that if there was ever anything that he needed from the Wilson family, they would help without any hesitation.

Additionally, Abel mentioned the possibility of meeting with Michael. To this, Marion did not give an answer, claiming that she would have to ask Michael first.

But for now, she could not, as Michael was not present within the living room. She thought, she could ask about his opinion on this matter when they met later on.

And with that, the call ended, with both Abel and Anna feeling a mixture of emotions. They had received a mix of both good news and bad news.

Good news, their daughter was saved, and was not in danger. Additionally, the Wilson family was also saved.

As for the bad news, they had lost someone. Even though it had happened long ago, and they only came to know about it today, but still, the sorrow in their hearts would not disappear for quite a long while.

Dwayne was quite swift in his actions. Since this was something that Michael had asked for, he did not hesitate to handle it.

Ever since he begun working with Michael, he realized just how incredible he was. And, he was also getting more information on Michael, due to his interaction with Adrian and the others, even though they had never met face to face.

Dwayne had several videos calls with Adrian, so, they were familiar with each other.

And by understanding a little about Adrian, he was able to get more information on Michael.

It was at that point that Dwayne came to realize that Michael was the one that was behind Sky Technologies. After all, since Adrian was actively taking action within Sky Technologies, it was impossible to hide it.

So, on some occasions, he had to appear on the news or interviews, especially regarding the new devices that were being continuously launched by Sky Technologies.

Anyway, Dwayne already knew about the fact that Michael was from the Santos family. And apart from that, both of his parents had eloped, and had Michael away from the capital.

So most probably, all the wealth that Michael had was not related to the Santos family at all. This was something that he had come to a conclusion due to the information that he had obtained.

According to the Intel, it was clear that all of the people within the Santos family did not even know about Michael’s existence. It was as though Michael was from another Santos family, and not the one in Danvill city.

Had it not been for the fact that he knew Michael’s parents’ names, he would have also thought so.

Still, upon being told to help the Wilson family, he understood that Michael was doing this because of his mother. Since that was the case, this issue had to be dealt with as soon as possible.

Upon understanding Michael’s capabilities, Dwayne had no any intention of going against him. And more than that, he thought, as long as he continued working for Michael, he might be able to achieve even more than he could ever have if he worked alone.

So, in just a little while, he was able to get the contact information of the family head of the Laito family.

The two sides had a brief conversation, in which the family head of the Laito family was left tremendously shocked and scared.

He had never really expected that the Wilson family had such connections. If he knew in advance, he would have never tried to make a move on them.

So, he quickly gave up on any ideas of making a move on the Wilson family. Additionally, at least, they had not caused the Wilson family much damage, so, some compensation would be enough to be able to settle the matter.

Even though he was usually ruthless in what he did, this time, how could he be ruthless when he was the weak one? So, he could only give in, and accept to suffer some losses in order to allow the Laito family to continue surviving.

As a result of this, both Anna and Abel were left dumbfounded when they received the news.

Neither of them had expected such efficiency. In just about 2 hours since the call with Marion, they received a call from the family head of the Laito family, who apologized.

Apart from apologizing, he actually gave them an entire company that was in the same industry as the main business of the Wilson family. And apart from that, he also gave away a plot of land that was at a prime location within the city.

In Danvill city, the prices of properties and land was extremely high. It was several times higher than that of Brenton city. So, just affording a piece of land or property was a problem for quite a number of people.

Still, understanding that the Laito family had suffered huge losses this time, both Abel and Anna felt relieved. With this damage, it would be impossible for them to be able to recover in a short while.

In such a situation, it would be impossible for them to attempt making a move on the Wilson family again. That was if they had the guts to make a move.

Additionally, the news about Vanguard Corporation supporting the Wilson family had already spread. And, many partners had already contacted them, about collaborations or renewal of contracts.

Previously, due to the pressure of the Laito family, some of them had the intention of retreating. But now, understanding that the Wilson family had incredible backing, they wanted to hold on.

Still, Abel was clear about who collaborate with, and who not to. For those that had already terminated the collaboration, he did not even think about starting a new cooperation with them.

For this type of people, as long as the Wilson family lost the support of Vanguard Corporation, or they faced a bigger enemy, they would once again escape. In fact, there was a possibility that they might be the first ones to act against the Wilson family, in order to impress the other party.

Anyway, with just this one move, Abel felt that he owed his sister a lot. He regretted not trying harder to help her out with the issue regarding the marriage, but there was nothing that he could do about it now that she was gone.

In the end, he could not even help his nephew, considering that he needed help from his nephew instead. Though, he thought, he would try to build the Wilson family as much as possible.
