Brian stared at Michael for a long moment, the anger within his eyes could not be hidden. But after a while, as though he had just thought of something, he gave a faint, dismissive laugh.

"Let me make this simple," he said. "I want Sky Technologies." his voice was filled with arrogance, as though he believed that what he wanted, he would get.

"I know the analysts are throwing around numbers, and possibly, the current sky technologies is valued at over $10 billion, maybe more. Fine. Let them. Paper valuations don’t impress me in the slightest, and neither do I care about what they claim Sky Technologies is worth."

He adjusted his cuff slightly, as if discussing something trivial. "Five hundred million dollars. That’s what I’m offering. And it’s not because that’s what the Sky Technologies is worth, but because that’s what I’m willing to pay."

After a moment of pause, he continued, "And understand this clearly, I’m not negotiating with you on the price or anything like that. Instead, I’m telling you that I’m willing to offer you compensation of $500 million, so that you can hand over Sky Technologies to me."

Hudson shifted subtly behind him. Even he himself, despite how many times he had acted domineering, he felt that Brian was being a little too much?

At least, until now, they were really not sure about Michael’s background. And recently, Hudson felt that there was much more to Michael than what they knew about him.

If it turned out that Michael was not easy to provoke, it would cause problems, especially with the issue with the silent order syndicate not yet resolved.

Brian did not know what Hudson was thinking about. He just continued staring at Michael as he continued, "If you refuse, that’s your choice. But don’t confuse refusal with immunity.

You think that ten-billion-dollar value is guaranteed? It isn’t. In fact, it only exists because I haven’t decided to erase it. That value can either increase, or it can drop as much as I want it to."

The air in the room grew heavier with Brian’s words.

"I’m already being considerate by not targeting Sky Technologies, and directly coming to offer you $500 million." Brian said plainly.

"Suppliers, distribution, investment channels, market confidence. A few calculated moves, and that bright future that you are trying to build, it disappears into nothing.

I can easily make sure that you turn from the owner of a huge company, into someone heavily in debt." Brian’s voice carried arrogance and overconfidence.

From his perspective, something like this was simple to accomplish. If it was later on, if Sky Technologies managed to enter and solidify their position in the global market, it would not be easy to deal with them.

But now, with them just beginning to venture into the global market, it was inevitable that they were easy to deal with, especially with the influence that he had within the blood reapers syndicate.

The connections that the syndicate had built over the years ranged from not only the underworld, but the business world as well. And more than that, they even had their hand in the government.

So, if there was a need, dealing with something as simple as this would not be much of a problem.

"And when the company that’s supposedly worth ten billion starts bleeding credibility, when expansion stalls, when partnerships hesitate, its value drops." Brian tilted his head slightly as he spoke, a slight smile appearing on his lips.

"That’s when I come back. And I won’t be offering five hundred million." Reaching this point, Brian paused.

Then, raising one finger, he said, "I’ll offer one dollar. And if I want it, I’ll acquire it. Because unlike you, I don’t need a reason beyond that." The blunt arrogance in his tone left no room for doubt.

"So, I would advise you to take the $500 million before I change my mind. Because if I change my mind, maybe even this $1 that I’m talking about, you might not receive it." Brian sat down as he placed his feet on the coffee table in front of him while speaking.

On the other hand, Michael rubbed his temples slightly, feeling a slight headache. This guy, why was he blabbering so much nonsense?

And at this moment, Hudson suddenly nudged Brian. Brian looked at him with a frown on his face, not the least bit pleased by the fact that Hudson was interrupting him.

"What is it?" He asked, his voice cold.

"Young master, actually, this issue is a little more complicated." Hudson, with his forehead already filled with beads of sweat.

"What complicated? What? You think that I cannot deal with a small company like Sky Technologies? They have potential, but so what? Potential is still potential. Unless they can grow, potential is just all talk." Brian snorted in response.

Then, he looked at Michael and said, "Kid, for a company like Sky Technologies to be able to grow, it needs capital. By now, I believe that you might have borrowed quite a huge amount from different financial institutions.

That is especially considering that sky technologies is not a public company. But since that is the case, I should let you know that, with the influence that I have, I can make those banks that have given you loans to recall their money back.

Since you have already invested so much money into the company, do you even have enough capital to be able to repay those debts?"

At this point, Hudson could no longer hold back. Instead, he just quickly said, "Young master, I did an investigation. The capital flow of Sky Technologies is stable, and the source of their funds is not from any bank.

Instead, the money that they are injecting into this business comes directly from their pockets. So, the issue of involving the banks here will be impossible to accomplish."

Upon hearing those words, Brian was momentarily dumbfounded. Even he himself had not anticipated something like this.

He looked at Michael, who was still busy with a laptop, and commented, "I never expected that you have some background. Anyway, it doesn’t matter. Even if you have money, so what? I can deal with the partners that you are collaborating with, the distribution channels and so on."

"That won’t work either. His methods, even I don’t understand them. Those that are collaborating with him, they are the ones who actively went to look for him. So, he has so many options for this.

Brian’s eyes flared with anger, as veins bulged on his forehead. This time, Brian was truly infuriated, to the extent that he did not even pay attention to the fact that Michael already knew his identity.

At this moment, he only focused on what Michael had said about him. Was Michael trying to imply that he, Brian, did not have the ability to lead blood reapers syndicate?
