As he approached, he could hear as music thudded behind the padded door of the KTV private room, the bass leaking into the narrow corridor, thick with smoke and spilled liquor.

At this moment, 3 men guarded the entrance. One had a baseball bat resting on his shoulder, another gripped a metallic rod, while the third was lazily flipping a fruit knife between his fingers.

Michael walked straight toward them. But when the men saw Michael approaching, they were momentarily puzzled.

Previously, they had already instructed that nobody should be allowed over. But now, this youngster was coming? Could it be that he was the one who had been called over by those youngsters inside?

"Kid, get lost!" The man with the baseball bat spoke as he waved his hand dismissively.

But when he realized that Michael was still approaching, he did not hesitate to attack.

Teeth snapped together as the rod slipped from numb fingers, as the guy dropped.

The third slashed with the fruit knife. Michael shifted a fraction to the side and struck once, with his knuckles crushing into the man’s temple.

The knife spun away. The man banged against the wall and slid down, unconscious.

Michael did not waste any time and opened the door.

Inside, flashing lights painted the room in violent reds and blues. Fifteen men were crowding a group of frightened youngsters near the sofas. They turned as one, all of them looking at the person who had opened the door of the private room.

And when Alex and the others saw who it was that had come over, they were both shocked and ecstatic. But at the same time, they were worried.

Previously, some of them had thought of calling Michael over. After all, not just the abilities that he had demonstrated, but his background was mysterious as well.

So, they thought, there was a possibility that he might be able to help out in this situation. But the moment that the gun was taken out, they all decided against it.

Incredible fighting skills did not matter in front of a bullet. So, none of them wanted to risk calling Michael over, especially if he would end up being shot.

But unexpectedly, Michael had come over. They were not sure if it was just a coincidence that he was here, or he knew that they were trouble and came.
