For Michael, the night was quite uneventful, apart from a little interaction with Marion and Susan, before he retreated to his room to continue pushing another skill to the expert level.

Upon understanding of the existence of the mutants within this world, Michael realized that things could easily get complicated at any moment.

It was not just a matter of what happened within this world, but there was a possibility of something happening outside this world, and affecting him.

And for that reason, he thought, he had to collect as many SP as possible. That way, he could be able to deal with situations as they came.

And at this point, he no longer held back. So, he told Adrian that they needed to speed up the growth of sky technologies even more. Now, it did not matter if it would attract the attention of the government or not, but high level technology could now be released.

The devices that the government used could detect the presence of mutants within any major city. As for where they had been installed, Michael already knew, and could easily go and deal with them.

But still, at the moment, it would be better for them to continue being there. After all, what would happen if a mutant suddenly appeared in this city, and ended up harming those that he cared about?

So, he decided to rest for the night, then leave the city on the following day. That way, he could go far from the city, then test out the abilities acquired through the mutation serum.

While the night was uneventful to Michael, it was not the same for others.

For Alex and the gang, they had a lot of explaining to do when they went back, especially after their families knew about the fact that they had been injured.

But when they realized that it was someone from the central province, all the anger that they had immediately diminished. And, excitement emerged in their hearts when they realized that Michael could deal with someone from the capital.

And coincidentally, that night, several hideouts of the dark society were attacked. It was not just the police, but even members of Crow gang took action, raiding many bases of dark society gang.

It was quite a chaotic night, with many gangsters being arrested by the police. And, for the fight between the two gangs, quite a number of casualties happened.

But all the same, without the leader, Hudson, Thomas was not able to completely control the situation. He did not know what he was supposed to do, whether he was supposed to deal with the police, or with the crow gang.

He was left confused, not understanding why they were suddenly attacked from two sides. Additionally, Hudson had previously claimed that the police would not do anything to them, considering that Brian had already made arrangements.

But unexpectedly, the police raided them, with many people being killed during the raid, while others were arrested, being charged of different types of crimes.

Even Thomas himself was arrested. And when he was arrested, he was dumbfounded when he realized that the police had full evidence of his criminal activities.

The evidence was so detailed that it left Thomas completely confused and puzzled at the same time. He could not understand how the police had been able to get all that information.

Even some of the things that he had managed to hide over the years, they had actually been somehow dug out by the police, and they were read to him when he asked why he was arrested.

Just listening to the long list of charges against him, Thomas realized that he was in deep trouble. Even if there were some connections between Hudson and the police, what could he do?

Unless there was a way of making the evidence vanish, it would be impossible for Thomas not to be taken to court and spend the rest of his life in prison.

Thomas was not the only one who felt hopeless. The other small gangsters, especially those that Thomas trusted the most, they also faced the same situation.

While they were left dumbfounded by how the police was able to find all the criminal evidence on them, despite all the effort that they had put in to hide it, the police were just as confused.

The evening of that day, in the computer of the police chief of Brenton city, several files suddenly appeared. And when the chief of police went through the information contained within the documents, he was left shocked.

Those documents contained all the criminal information regarding the members of the Dark Society. And more than that, the location of the hideouts, and what was within those places, all of them were included in the documents.

It was not just words, even images and videos were included, which left the chief feeling dizzy, trying to understand who it was that had done this.

Of course, he immediately had the technical department deal with this issue, trying to see how those files had appeared in his computer.

Unfortunately, despite the skills that the computer experts of the technical department of the police had, they could not find anything at all. It was as those files always existed within the computer.

When the police chief was informed of this, he felt a chill running down his spine. And at this moment, he understood, if he did not take action, there would be a problem.

He understood that dark society had deep connections. That was why, after taking over after the previous police chief, he only did some changes, but he did not make any move on the dark society or the crow gang.

After all, if he dared to do something, there would be someone coming from the capital to deal with him. And, it might not be a gangster, but instead, it could be his superior.

Those that tried to resist were shot dead, while those that did not were immediately arrested. And it was only at this time that the police suddenly realized that they did not have sufficient resources.

In the end, they arrested those with major crimes, while allowing those small criminals to go. As long as they did not commit any big crime, they could be allowed to go.

As for the issue related to the crow gang, it was almost the same as with the police chief.
