Information to Mastery: Points Store System-Chapter 279: What Has Brought You Back?
Knowing that the possibility of him being assassinated today were quite high, Michael decided to stay in the villa. He thought, dealing with an assassin while in the villa was much more convenient.
This was his own place, and after capturing that person, it would be much easier to deal with the aftermath.
Susan had left on evening of 28th, as she was required to go back to the central province on the following day. So, she had to go back and make preparations.
Though, as the lady was leaving, she made sure to carry as much food as possible, the ones that would not go bad within a day.
She really wanted to stay, but because of her career, she had no other choice but to leave. She even thought of a possibility of inviting either Michael or Adrian, to become her personal chef, but she thought against it eventually.
While her Anders family was rich, their wealth could not be compared to the one that Michael had. Additionally, why would Adrian give up on dealing with important issues regarding sky technologies, just to become a chef?
In the end, she thought, as soon as Kate came back, she would have to make sure that she would be coming over on a daily basis. That way, she could follow Kate in order to eat everyday.
As for coming back on her own, that was impossible. She already knew that Marion would leave the following day, indicating that she would have no reason to stay in the villa again.
After all, the only reason why she was in the villa was because of Marion. And with Marion not being there, and the lack of familiarity between her and Michael, it was not suitable for her to stay in the villa.
With that decision made, she thought, she would have to speak to Kate on that day, so that she could hurry up and come back as soon as the training was completed and she joined the organization.
The following day after Susan had left, Marion also departed. She had been staying here for a few days already, and her parents were urging her to go back.
They wanted her to go back together with Michael, but Michael refused. He had no reason to go there, only maybe when he went to the capital in the future, would he pay them a visit.
As for them coming over to thank him for helping out the Wilson family, he told Marion that there was no need for that. In the end, they had to agree to Michael’s decision that he would visit them when he had time.
Just like Susan, Marion was unwilling to leave. It was not just about the food here, but it was much more about her freedom. Once she went back, she would have to get busy again.
As the sole heiress of the Wilson family, she had to start taking over the family business, especially considering that she was already 25 years old.
While being with Michael here, she could be as carefree as she wanted. Additionally, in this city, there were a lot of places that she had not yet explored.
In terms of development, this city was way far behind the capital. But even then, she just liked the atmosphere here. At least, as compared to the capital, it felt much more peaceful to stay here.
In the end, feeling reluctant, she gave Michael a hug, before she got into the helicopter that was arranged for her by Michael, as she departed.
With the two ladies leaving, the living room of the Villa finally regained some sense of peace. Apart from Michael who was usually busy in the living room, reading through different documents, there was nobody else within the villa.
Well, that was a part from the three clones. On 28th, he took the serum for the psychic clone ability.
With the limitation of only a single clone per day, apart from the clone that he had been able to produce on 28th, he produced another one on the previous day, and another this morning.
Of course, the three clones were working together, busy trying to help Michael earn SP. And the speed at which they were doing it was quite frightening.
Considering that it was becoming easier to be able to push skills to the expert level, with the higher the number of skills that he had, this was inevitable.
Additionally, the clones were able to work for 24 hours, unlike Michael who had to take breaks every while and again in order to refresh, recharge his energy, or take a nap or sleep.
On the second day, just as he was about to generate another clone through his ability, the other clone had already managed to push a total of 7 skills to the expert level, earning Michael a total of 42,077 SP.
And with the 2 of them joining forces, a total of 15 skills were pushed to the expert level by the time that he generated another clone.
With the addition of 15 skills, each generating 6,011 SP, this added 90,165 SP. In total, currently, Michael had a total of 910,773 points!
If this was all converted into cash, it would be equivalent to $91.077 billion!
As for the total number of skills that he currently had, Michael had managed to grasp a total of 153 skills, with each one of them being at the expert level.
And with the bug of using the clones in order to be able to gain more skills to be exploited, it was only a matter of time before he reached the million SP point mark.
Now, with him earning SP at such an incredible speed, it would be much easier for him to be able to handle the issue of his influence.
It was already midday, and Michael was still lying on the couch, waiting for the assassin to appear.
But before that, he thought, with the current SP balance, he could try to use it to speed up some things. So, he texted Adrian, informing him that he should give him a list of what was required, but would take quite a while to be secured.
Of course, he had to include in the list the things that were needed, but were extremely difficult to secure or could not be secured.
As long as Michael could solve this, the progress of sky technologies taking over the technology industry would be sped up by several times.
After sending the text, Michael was about to continue helping the clones in acquiring SP when suddenly, the doorbell rang.
This made Michael raise his brows slightly. At the same time, he wondered, just what kind of confidence did this assassin have?
Coming to his house, and instead of sneaking in, this person was actually actively informing Michael that he was already here?
Despite this, Michael summoned one of his clones through the telepathic link that they shared.
Michael could control the clones, but they could also control themselves. They had intelligence, but of course, it was not to the extent that it made them other people, instead, it was more like an extension of Michael’s consciousness, being split into several parts.
All that Michael needed to do was to think about it, and one of the clones immediately descended the stairs, heading for the door.
The moment that the clone opened the door, Michael had anticipated that a fight would suddenly break out. He had quite some confidence in the clone.
After all, apart from the ability that Michael had, and the access to the system, the clone shared his other attributes, implying that its physique was already beyond the human limits.
And considering the current level of mutation serums produced, Michael believed that it would not be much of a problem for the clone to be able to handle the assassin.
Unexpectedly, as Michael linked his mind with the clone, being able to observe what the clone was seeing, he was surprised to see who was at the door.
That bald head and green eyes, with that muscular frame, it was the same guy who had come over a few days ago, Bob.
And currently, standing beside him was another guy with a bulky frame, with curly black hair and brown eyes. He was currently wearing a green vest that exposed his exaggeratedly big biceps, and cargo pants with a pair of black boots.
Just by seeing him, Michael immediately realized that this guy was not normal. A thought suddenly appeared in his mind, could this guy be a mutant?
Despite what he was thinking about, the clone invited the two into the room. At this point, Michael realized that it was not the assassin, so, he had no intention of revealing his ability.
So, by the time that the clone and the other two came into the living room, Michael had already gone upstairs.
"Wait here for a moment, I’ll be back." The clone said before going upstairs. A short while later, Michael descended, leaving the clone up, to continue grinding for SP.
He went ahead and sat on a couch directly opposite of the two people. He did not bother with the etiquette of serving them water or any other drink, instead, he went straight to the point.
He gazed deeply at the guy that was sitting beside Bob, before he finally focused his gaze on Bob and asked, "What has brought you back? Could it be that you are still here to persuade me to leave?"
