Chapter 299: Meeting Up

Today, Michael was able to use the psychic clone ability, to create yet another clone, bringing the total number of clones to four.

A single clone, within 24 hours, was capable of pushing a total of 6 skills to the expert level. Of course, there would be another skill that might be pushed to the advanced level, but would not be able to reach the expert level within that time frame.

Regardless, previously, Michael had a total of three clones. From the previous day, after he dealt with James, Gregory and Bob, to today, after getting the fourth clone in the morning, they had managed to push a total of 30 skills to the expert level.

As for the number of SP gained, from a total of 30 skills, with each skill being 6,011 points, he gained a total of 1,091,027 points! Converted into cash, that would be equivalent to over $100 billion!

Just about one and a half days, the 4 clones had managed to earn him over 180,000 points, which was equivalent to $18 billion!

This type of efficiency, especially in the future, where, not only would he have more clones, but the time required to push each skill to the expert level would reduce, how much would he be able to earn on a daily basis?

At this point, the dream of becoming the richest man in the world was no longer a dream. Additionally, Michael felt that this was not an ambition, but something that could be achieved with time.

Previously, he had thought about exploring what existed outside this world. From the efficiency of earning SP, it seemed that that day was not that far away.

Still, he thought, whatever existed outside this world, it would definitely not be simple. It would be much better if he prepared himself, before going out.

And the best way of doing that was earning as much SP as possible, so that he could deal with different situations.

Even until today, Michael had not fully explored the system store, implying that there were many items that he did not even know about.

The limitation of the store was that, all the items that had ever existed in this world, or even in imagination and science fiction, they could be found within the system store.

Of course, this limitation was only in science fiction, and not fantasy. Otherwise, it would not be impossible for him to have a world of his own, after buying it from the system store.

It was already night time, and Michael was lying on the bed in his room. He had been quite idle today, and he felt, maybe he should take this chance, where the clones were doing the work for him, so that he could enjoy himself.

Apart from the time that his parents were alive, he had never really had the chance to enjoy life.

Even though gaining many skills from different fields made some things feel boring to do, but there was still the thrill of doing something for the first time.

Even though he usually got the simulation from the system when a skill reached the expert level, giving him experience of doing it, it was not the same as doing it.

At least, in terms of sensation, the feeling of fulfillment and so on, it was way better to do it on his own.

And within this city, who else could help him out with something like this other than Alex Walter (not the same guy from the training camp) and the group? They were much more familiar with this city, and maybe they could take him along to have some fun?

....

"Well, that is a surprise. I never thought that you would take the initiative to come and look for us. Today, you are not busy?" Alex, wearing a black tracksuit with white strips asked while leaning against the Koenigsegg Regera that Michael had sold to him.

At the moment, he was in the parking lot of Losto Shooting range, and had been waiting for Michael, who had just arrived.

Michael, who had just gotten out of the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet, wearing a dark hoodie beneath a fitted black jacket, a dark, straight-cut jeans and sturdy brown boots, said nothing in response to Alex’s words.

The previous night, he had texted Alex, asking him to contact him in case there was anywhere that they were planning to go to.

Maybe Alex was busy with something, as he seemingly did not see the text the previous night. Instead, he had only seen it a few minutes ago, when they got here.

He and the group had decided to come to the shooting range, to once again compete, especially with Raymond claiming that his skill level had improved.

It was when he was dealing with something related to Max, the manager of Losto shooting range, that he noticed the text from Michael.

"What? You don’t want me here?" Michael asked in a nonchalant tone as he stood in front of Alex.

"Of course not. Anyway, come in, the group is already inside. They don’t know that you are coming, so, let’s give them a surprise." Alex smiled as he responded.

Michael nodded, and the two entered into the shooting range. Since Michael previously acquired the membership of Losto shooting range, he just needed to recharge for the monthly fee.

During his previous visit, he only paid for one month, which was for the month of August. So, Michael had to make payments for the previous 2 months, and this month, implying that he had to pay a total of $750.

But with the amount of money that was currently within his bank account, that was just a drop in the bucket.

After the payment was done, the two of them proceeded to their destination. This time, they did not go to the armory, as Michael did not need any introduction.

And as he looked around, Michael felt that it had been quite a while since he was here.

It has been over 2 months since the last time that he was here, and it was the time that he was here that he made with Kate, after their separation back in Drenn city. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

As he looked at the familiar interior of the building, the two proceeded towards the shooting range.

They reached a set of double doors, which when Alex pushed open, revealed an open space, behind which were the shooting lanes.

As usual, the shooting range was busy, as it was already 11, and while this shooting range was members only, there was still quite a number of people that could afford to come here.

Bang! Bang!

Entering, the pistol lanes, one could see a row of climate-controlled, polished bays were separated by reinforced glass. Targets were set at varying distances, some fixed, some programmed to pop up at random intervals, each lane equipped with digital scoring panels.

Inside the pistol Lane, Michael so the familiar faces of Raymond, Dalton, and all the others apart from Jessica.

Jessica Gibson, she was the girl who had asked Michael for a chance to go visit the fighting arena once again, after they had won big.

But then, Michael investigated about her, knew about her passion, and had someone make arrangements for her in Sky Technologies.

Therefore, most of the time, she was busy at Sky Technologies, and only hang out with Alex and the others when she was free.

The moment that Michael and Alex entered the shooting lane, the person that was holding the gun at this moment was Raymond.

Just like during the previous visit that Michael had come with them, this group was competing against each other. And this time, Raymond was the final person.

The guy was concentrating on the targets, and did not notice the entrance of the duo. Instead, Dalton and the others noticed them, and their faces showed surprise.

The previous time that they encountered each other was during the time that Michael was dealing with Brian, Nathan’s son.

That guy, after visiting Michael’s place, leaving in disappointment, he went to the KTV. During his visit there, he encountered Alex and the others, who were leaving, and the guy began acting arrogant.

In the end, Alex and the others were beaten up, which led to Michael intervening. But from that day, they had not met each other, and even on that day, it was not as big they had planned to meet.

So simply put, they had not expected Michael to come here, and since he was here, he was definitely here for fun.

"Well, that is a surprise. I thought that nowadays, you don’t want to hang out with us." Dalton stated while gazing at Michael.

"Was just a little busy with something, and today, I got some time on my hands, so I thought that I would come and hang out with you guys." With a faint smile, Michael responded.

"That’s great. And by the way, you did not give us a chance of thanking you for saving us that other time. Today, you should allow us to treat you to a meal in Starlight Restaurant. What do you guys think?" Dalton nodded, a big smile appearing on his face as he continued speaking.

When he said those words, the others were also reminded of that incident involving Brian. So, they also agreed with what Dalton had said, intending to thank Michael.

In terms of wealth, they could not compare with him, so there was no way that they could give him money as a form of thank you. Still, they could show their sincerity by treating him to a sumptuous meal.

"What do you guys think? Am I not better than Alex? Today, I’m definitely taking the top spot." While everyone was concentrating on Michael’s arrival, they were suddenly interrupted by a loud arrogant voice.
