While the mantis was having the time of it's life eating the good quality ore.

Theo's heart was jumping up and down with happiness.
"There can be multiple evolutions. If it happened again… surely, it can happen a third time too," he said, making Clara nod profusely.
"I don't completely understand this, but I do understand there will be an evolution soon enough, right? What are the requirements this time, Young Master?" Clara asked. She knew most already, and Theo sighed in relief that he didn't need to keep explaining things to her.
"I just need to feed it 400 grams of the same ore for 10 days. The mantis's forelegs will become sharper, and it will increase in size too."
Clara looked at Theo in surprise and then at the mantis. Her imagination led her to the image of a giant mantis staring at her with its big eyes.
A shiver ran down her spine just thinking about it, yet Theo was too lost in his own world to even notice.
"Clara, when you get the time, go and tell old man Alfred that I will need 500 grams of this ore every day. But don't mention the 10 days for now."
"I will go right away, Young Master."
After Clara had left, Theo sat back with a satisfied sigh. He didn't know why, but thinking about how the mantis could increase in size made him feel like half his problems would be solved soon enough.
'If the mantis increases in size, I can tell the world that the Baron discovered a new variant of insect during his travels. I took an interest in it and tamed the mantis. Now, I just need to make it strong too.'
An hour passed, and the requirements for the first day were completed. Theo closed the sack of ore to prevent the mantis from eating more, yet it didn't work so well.
The mantis started attacking the sack, trying to tear it open to get to the ores. That was the first time Theo gave a rather angry mental command.
He threatened to cut off the mantis's favorite food if it continued. That was the day Theo realized that the mantis could feel fear and restraint too.
With nothing else to do for the rest of the day, Theo let the mantis practice on the dummy. The mantis was quite active today, and its attacks seemed cleaner as well.
The third day ended just like that. On the fourth day, Theo got ready for his noble training.
Clara already knew the way, so Theo reached the location within minutes. That was when he found some interesting people already in the room.
"Oh? IT'S THEO! THEO! OVER HERE!"
Theo heard a scream that irked his eardrums. He turned toward the little girl with an awkward smile.
Everyone turned toward Theo with wide smiles before running toward him.
"It's been so long, Theo! The last time I saw you was at dinner with Father!" Gideon spoke with a cheeky smile.
"YEAH!" Celeste screamed again, and Theo could only chuckle.
"It's good to meet you all, older brothers and sister. I will be in your care today," Theo stated with a small bow, making the others look at him with confusion.
"Oh, there is no need for formalities, Theo," Gideon said, stepping closer to speak sneakily, "There are no adults nearby anyway."
"Yeah!" Celeste shouted again.
"I am an adult, Young Master," a girl standing to the side said with a smile.
She was wearing an attendant's uniform, so Theo presumed she was one of the kids' attendants.
"No, you are not! Stop lying!" Gideon protested, stomping his foot. A pout formed on his face as if he was genuinely upset.
Theo saw the attendant's face shift from tiredness to warmth in seconds. She kept talking with Gideon until another attendant approached them.
"Good morning, Young Master Theo. I am Lady Celeste's attendant. My name is Elaine," the girl said with a bow.
"It's good to meet you, Elaine. I will be in your care today as well," Theo said warmly, surprising the girl.
"Wow, Clara~ Young Master Theo is so polite~" another girl, who was attending to Gideon, chimed in. Theo turned to her, waiting for her introduction.
"He is kind and a very hardworking person too," Clara spoke, making the two attendants awe in admiration.
"My name is Rhea Vaugh, Young Master Theo. I am Young Master Gideon's attendant."
Theo nodded with a smile, and Clara finally stepped forward to introduce herself to the twins.
"My name is Clara Everstead. I am Young Master Theo's attendant," Clara said in a warm tone suited for speaking with children, accompanied by a deep bow.
Gideon looked at her and blushed hard, while Celeste beamed with excitement at meeting another person.
Theo turned to the side and noticed a little boy the same height as him, standing just a step away from the group, fidgeting with his hands.
Theo moved forward and approached Bram, who had a bright yet awkward smile on his face.
"Y-Younger brother, I hope you are doing well," he said with an innocent look that made every attendant and child there melt.
Even Theo could not handle the little kid's cuteness, even though he was supposed to be a year older than him.
"Nice seeing you too, older brother," Theo said, offering a handshake. Bram quickly grasped his hand, his face showing a cute urgency as if he was trying to do things properly.
"Aww~~ You cutie pie!" Celeste ran and hugged Bram, who tried to push his sister away.
Everyone laughed, and even Theo joined in. When Clara saw Theo's expression, a warm smile spread across her face too.
CLAP CLAP CLAP
Before the last attendant could introduce herself to Theo, sudden clapping sounds echoed from the door. Theo's head jerked toward the entrance with vigilance, his eyebrows arched into a frown.
It seemed his instincts from the jungle were still intact. While the kids didn't notice, all the other attendants turned to look at him with confusion.
