Chapter 32.2 - Holding hands

The next moment, Mo Han pushed open the door of Ward No. 11, and the two entered the room. When they opened the bedside table, they found a dark submachine gun lying inside, and a pistol and hundreds of bullets in the other table. In the closet was a body arm.

The game developer really is something – putting these items together requires a lot of searching.

Luo Fei picked up the body armor and handed it to Mo Han, saying, “Put it on.”

Mo Han turned to look at him: “You found it, why don’t you wear it?”

Luo Fei smiled and said, “There’s only one piece, you wear it first. You are the captain, and we must ensure your safety.”

Mo Han didn’t refuse. He put on the body armor decisively, and stuffed the pistol into his pocket. Luo Fei hung the submachine gun on his body, and put all the bullets in his backpack.

Just after they finished all these actions, there was a strange rustling sound in the corridor, and Mo Han frowned: “Run!”

The next moment, he suddenly grabbed Luo Fei and ran out of the ward. Luo Fei looked back and was so startled that his jaw almost dropped.

Dozens of zombies rushed out from the other wards and turned to look at them in unison. Some of those zombies dragged a leg that had been bitten off, some had their necks tilted to one side, and some had a big hole in their chest. The scene was horrific. If their reaction was a few seconds slower and the room was blocked, they would definitely be killed.

Mo Han took a deep breath and said, “Quick, go downstairs!”

Although there are many zombies, they move slowly. Mo Han dragged Luo Fei to dash around the corpses all over the floor and escape downstairs.

At this moment, suddenly a zombie jumped out from the side corner, aiming for the back of Mo Han’s neck. Luo Fei happened to follow behind Mo Han. Seeing this scene, his heart almost stopped. Reflexively raising his arm, he slapped the zombie to the ground with a sharp hand knife.

Mo Han sensed movement behind him, turned his head and saw a zombie lying on the ground. The zombie appeared suddenly from a side corner, and caught him unprepared. If there was no one behind him just now, he might have been bitten and eliminated.

His new teammate just saved him.

Mo Han nodded politely to Mr. F. “Thank you.”

Luo Fei smiled brightly: “You’re welcome, protecting the captain is my duty.”

Mo Han didn’t say much, but there was a weird feeling in his heart. Despite seeing countless system faces, Mr. F’s face seemed more vivid than others, and his smiles were particularly brilliant.

He’s probably a person who likes smiling.

Mo Han ignored the strangeness in his heart, turned around and continued to walk forward. He said calmly as he walked: “Since we just picked up a useful weapon, it should have triggered an event for all the zombies in the hospital to attack us. WWe need to get out of here quickly!”

Luo Fei nodded cautiously, and said in a low voice: “This time I’ll go ahead, you follow me. Keep close and don’t exceed one meter.”

Mo Han was puzzled: “Huh, you don’t believe my skill?”

Luo Fei said, “That’s not what I mean. Those who walk in front are more dangerous. You are the captain and you can’t be eliminated too early. And I carry a submachine gun, so it’s easier to open the way.”

What he said made sense, so Mo Han didn’t hesitate to follow behind him.

The two quickly went downstairs. Sure enough, the empty hall was full of zombies. All the corpses lying on the ground before were resurrected, staring at them hungrily.

Many zombies were wearing hospital gowns and should be patients, while a handful wearing white coats should be transformed medical staff.

They blocked the exit of the hospital, and gradually gathered towards the two players.

Luo Fei raised his submachine gun and aimed at the group of zombies, shooting continuously. Bang bang bang bang.

His marksmanship was very accurate, sweeping across domineeringly, knocking down all the zombies in the front row in one go!

Dozens of bullets were shot out, and most were headshots!

A group of zombies fell to the ground screaming. Luo Fei immediately grabbed Mo Han’s hand and said, “This way!”

Mo Han followed behind, unable to help feeling a little admiration in his heart seeing the tall back.

As a hacker, he automatically imagines zombies as codes, so he isn’t afraid. But this Mr. F was surrounded by hundreds of zombies with hideous facial features and blood and able to create an opening so quickly. His marksmanship was so precise that almost no bullet was wasted!

This person is indeed very powerful, no wonder he was drawn into the team by Frank.

Thinking this, when Mo Han lowered his head, he found that his hand was actually held by him.

The sense of touch in the game made Mo Han’s fingers feel a little warmth. He was a little uncomfortable and wanted to withdraw his hand, but it was held even tighter by the other party.

There is no need to think so much at a critical moment. Mr. F rushed ahead vigorously, and Mo Han had no choice but to quickly follow him.

Zombies react slowly, so even if there are many of them, they can’t catch up with the fast-running players. Luo Fei pulled Mo Han, dashing as if doing a 100-meter sprint, through the passage he created before the surrounding zombies gather. He ran out of the hospital in one breath, kicked the door shut, and locked the door from the outside.

Screams and roars came from the hospital, as well as the sounds of glass being broken.

A gust of cold wind suddenly blew, picking up the scraps of paper on the ground, making the empty street particularly desolate.

Looking around, the two of them didn’t see any new groups of zombies on the street for the time being.

Luo Fei and Mo Han looked at each other, and heaved a sigh of relief.

Then Mo Han frowned lightly, and said, “How long are you going to hold me? Still not letting go?”

Luo Fei looked down and found that he was still tightly holding onto Mo Han’s hand.

He didn’t think too much of it in the mad dash – he just wanted to take Mo Han out of the hospital as soon as possible, and grabbed Mo Han’s hand because he was afraid Mo Han would not be able to keep up.

After calming down and seeing he was holding hands with Mo Han, his heart skipped a beat, and his cheeks warmed up slightly.

This is the first time he’s held hands with someone.

Although this is a game, the sensation is realistic, and he can even feel the cool temperature of Mo Han’s fingers.

Moreover, Mo Han’s hands are really beautiful, with slender and strong fingers, and feels particularly good in the palm of his hand.

Luo Fei was a bit reluctant to let go, but when he saw Mo Han’s calm gaze, he quickly let go. “Sorry, I was too hasty just now, I didn’t pay attention.”

The system face can make various expressions, but it is difficult to simulate “blushing”.

This is an adventure game, not a love game. Who will blush? It’s enough to not be scared to tears.

The game developer probably didn’t consider such things carefully.

Therefore, Mo Han didn’t notice the abnormality of his teammate. He simply noticed his hand was free, and his teammade seemed a little embarrassed?

It seems that this guy is quite innocent and shy, and he feels embarrassed from holding hands. He doesn’t seem like the same man who aggressively shot down a row of zombies just now.

At this time, Luo Fei in the game cabin was already so excited that he was about to explode.

He held Mo Han’s hand.

He held Mo Han’s hand in the game!

Although it’s just a game, he’s still… so happy!

Lol, I can imagine Luo Fei as a puppy. Woof!
