Interstellar Marriage Guide-Chapter 37.1 - Special interest
T/N: Thanks for Lolilu, we have 1x release of IMG this week along with 1 of 2 monthly releases. Was going to space the monthly release out more, but this chapter is long so pushing it out sooner felt better.
On the other side, Ludwig led Frank and Iman to look for weapons. The three found a dilapidated wooden box in the corner of the square. When they opened it, they found a submachine gun, a sniper rifle, three grenades, and some bullets. Ludwig took the sniper rifle and grenades, and handed the submachine gun to Frank.
Iman’s eyes widened: “What about me?”
Ludwig glanced at him, then took out a grenade from his backpack and threw it to him: “Take it to play.”
Iman: “………”
Are you treating me like a kid? What does it mean to play with it?
Iman’s chest was tight with anger seeing his charity-like attitude, and he couldn’t help saying, “Don’t underestimate me, I can use a gun too.”
Ludwig looked at the guy who was a head shorter than himself in front of him, handed him the sniper rifle, and pointed to the city wall in the distance. “There is a totem mask hanging on the wall over there, try shooting the mask.”
Iman followed his gaze and asked blankly, “What mask?”
The city wall was more than 50 meters away, and Iman’s eyesight was not that good. Not to mention with the sand and dust gusting about, he couldn’t see clearly at all.
Ludwig said lightly: “If you can’t see it, you can open the scope to find it.”
Iman opened the long-sighted scope on the sniper rifle, and after searching for a long time, he finally found the mask he mentioned. It was barely the size of an adult’s palm! How did this guy see it at such a long distance? Do his eyes have special functions?
Iman muttered inwardly, but still aimed at the mask and pulled the trigger solemnly.
The bullet pierced through the air and shot straight at the target on the distant city wall. As a result… it shot about ten centimeters away from the mask.
Ludwig took back the sniper rifle from him, and said calmly, “Is this what you said by using a gun?”
Iman: “…”
Iman showed a rare embarrassment on his face.
Frank was a little puzzled seeing him deflate. At Hermann University, Iman is the one to silence others, but today, this guy named Hunter blocked Iman twice in a row.
Probably this is the so-called “nemesis”, right?
Frank smiled and said, “Iman, don’t worry about the guns, just follow us.”
Depressed, Iman had no choice but to follow.
After Ludwig equipped the weapons, the scene event was triggered. Suddenly, there was a rustling sound, as if something was crawling on the ground. The sound became louder, and the distance between the three closer. Ludwig narrowed his eyes, and immediately led his teammates to the wall fifty meters ahead, and leaned against the wall to observe the surroundings vigilantly.
After a while, a dense group of snakes appeared in front of them.
Countless giant snakes gathered together and quickly crawled in their direction. Hissing and spitting, the green eyes of the giant snakes stared at them like prey.
Iman’s legs went limp, and he immediately hid behind Ludwig.
Ludwig glanced at the guy who was hiding behind him trembling, who didn’t even dare show his head, and asked lightly, “Are you afraid of snakes?”
Iman insisted, “I, I’m not afraid of snakes!”
But his trembling voice still betrayed him.
The corners of Ludwig’s lips raised indiscernibly, and he said, “Hide well, don’t come out.”
The next moment, he turned his head to Frank and said, “Use the submachine gun to strafe the area, starting with the group on the left first. I’ll find out where the snake king is.”
“No problem!” Frank nodded bluntly.
Iman shrank his head and hid behind the two of them, hearing a sudden burst of gunfire in his ears, causing his eardrums to hurt.
Frank’s marksmanship is not as accurate as that of Luo Fei, but he did a good job of sweeping with the heavy firepower of the submachine gun. Most of the bullets landed, killing the snakes on the left in an instant, covering the ground with densely packed snake corpses.
Iman hid and did not dare to come out. Even after a long time, Frank’s gunshots did not stop.
But at this moment, Ludwig suddenly raised his sniper rifle, closed his right eye, aimed using his left eye at a giant green snake in the group, pulled the trigger—
With a puff, the bullet shot out of the air, and accurately shot the snake king’s head!
Iman was afraid to look at the snakes, but he clearly saw Ludwig’s movements.
The man’s side face is handsome and cold, his eyes are as sharp as a sword. His action of squinting and raising his gun to shoot is so handsome that people can’t take their eyes off. He’s already tall and wearing the dark blue military uniform makes his figure even more tall and straight.
His cold, ascetic temperament suddenly made Iman’s heart flutter.
Once the snake king was accurately sniped by Ludwig, the snake group immediately dispersed, ignoring them.
Frank exhaled lightly, and praised: “Your marksmanship is really accurate. You were able to find the snake king among all those snakes!”
Ludwig put away his sniper rifle and said calmly: “The snake king looks different, its body is emerald green. The snakes will protect and follow its designated route. In this kind of group attack, there is usually a team leader. As long as the leader is dealt with, the danger will pass.”
Frank looked back at him in surprise, and found that his expression was calm. It seemed that shooting the king snake in a dense group of snakes was a very easy and normal thing.
This hunter, like Mr. F, has terrible marksmanship.
Frank took a deep breath to calm down, and asked: “By the way, when we met you in the zombie siege last time, there were five players who survived at the end. The four of us were a team. Were you acting alone? Or were your teammates eliminated early?”
Ludwig said, “Alone.”
Impressed, Frank gave him a thumbs up. “Awesome! How did you survive to the end in nightmare mode by yourself?”
Ludwig’s tone remained calm: “This kind of game is not difficult for me.”
Because, the training course of St. Romia Military Academy is much crueler.
Especially in battlefield simulation training, the holographic environment is much more realistic. Not only do they have to survive from enemy encirclement, but they also have to constantly endure the death of teammates, and their own mechs being blown out of balance. The cruelty of war is far beyond this kind of adventure game.
Ludwig restrained his thoughts and said, “Let’s go.”
However, as soon as he stepped out, he felt a hand gently grabbing the corner of his clothes.
Looking back, he saw a short guy tugging at the hem of his clothes nervously and helplessly, looking like a pitiful little animal. “I, I’m actually an omega. I’m so scared. Can you take me away?”
Frank: “???”
If the students of Hermann University saw Iman’s wronged and pitiful appearance, they would be shocked.
This is definitely an act, right?!
Iman is really pretending. Because of his sudden interest in this Hunter, he wants to be friends and get to know him better. It is said that alphas like gentle omegas, so Iman temporarily put away his wolf tail and pretended to be an innocent and harmless little white rabbit, hoping to establish a good relationship with him.
As a result, Ludwig completely ignored his identity as an omega, and said calmly: “If you’re afraid, you can quit early.”
Iman: “…”
??? When a normal alpha sees such a pitiful omega, shouldn’t he immediately wrap him in his arms and say “Don’t be afraid, I’ll protect you”?
As a result, this person actually said, “If you’re afraid, you can quit early.”
What the hell? Is he a cold-blooded animal?
As if to confirm Iman’s idea, Ludwig immediately added: “You can call the system for assistance, and then choose ‘I can’t continue the game, I want to leave early’. The system will send you directly out of the dungeon.”
Frank’s stomach hurt from holding back his laughter.
If this game could truly render a player’s expression, at this moment Iman’s face would be as black as a pot.
He quickly stood up straight, let go of the corner of the other party’s clothes, and pretended to be calm: “I, I can hold on for a while.”
Ludwig said flatly, “Then let’s go.”
He walked forward quickly. Iman looked at his tall back, sneering from the corner of his mouth, and said in his heart: “Very good, you’ve made me angry three times in a row. One day I’ll get it back. I don’t believe you will always be so cold-faced and unmoved.”
A strong fighting spirit ignited in Iman’s heart.
Little did he realize that since meeting this man, he’d been nearly out of sorts several times.
This person was so special that he unconsciously attracted his gaze and attention.
