With the arrow being lodged deep into its ribs it didn’t get back up in time to run away, so the Hyenakin slit its throat with a swift slash before glancing over her shoulder at me, those ruddy eyes glowing with something before she got back to the massacre of these monsters.

When it was all said and done the Hyenakin followed me around closely as I retrieved my various arrows, catching me murmuring to myself about how irritating it was that something this weak managed to snap one of the shafts or how much time I was going to have to spend sharpening the now blunt tip.
