Inside the kitchen. Petal cleaned the kitchen with Ethan’s help from the mess before she started cooking. She knew that Jacob hated eating fast food and preferred a home-cooked meal.

Ethan didn’t want her to cook but she insisted on cooking. She knew that he was jealous of Jacob but he tried not to show it. He was cute looking jealous. She thought to herself. Glancing at him as she cut the vegetables for soap. She noticed how he was angrily cutting the salad and the tomatoes.

"Aren’t you going to bandage a wound?" She heard him say and she turned to look at him.

Petal’s heart skipped a beat. He looked too handsome for her innocent eyes." Do it yourself." She replied. Signaling and turning to finish what she was doing.

She doesn’t know what might happen If she got closer to him again and she didn’t want to risk getting caught doing something shameless in Jacob’s kitchen.

Ethan chuckled seeing her how tense and nervous. He decided to not tease her more and leave her alone. For the time being.

Watching as he left the kitchen. She sighed in relief.

An hour later. The dinner was ready and the three of them sat at the table. Ethan sat beside Petal.

"It’s delicious. As always. I missed your cooking." Jacob said as he took another bit.

"Tomorrow I will cook your favorite dishes." Petal said. signaling

Jacob looked at Ethan seeing the murders look that he was looking at him with and Jacob winked at him only for Ethan to grip the spoon in his hand tightly. crooking it.

"So. Ethan. Now that you and Petal are in a relationship."Jacob trailed off staring at Petal before he looked at Ethan."Are you serious about her?" He asked.

Hearing Jacob’s question. Petal turned to look at Ethan.

Ethan gave her a look saying that she’s free to tell him about their secret engagement or not.

Jacob frowned seeing the couple staring at each other having a silent conversation between them.

Petal took out the necklace that she was hiding. Showing him the two ring pieces that hang from the necklace.

Jacob raised an eyebrow starting at the ring. A smile appeared on his lips as looked at Petal. "Congratulations." Jacob said to her.

"When she said yes. She put all her trust in you. So don’t break it." Jacob spoke In a serious voice.

"I won’t. That is a promise I made to her." Ethan said, placing his hand above Petal’s hand, squeezing it gently.

Petal turned to look at him with a shy smile on her lips. Feeling happy. Hoping that this happiness will last for a long time.

"Stop feeding me dog food. Both of you. Let me eat my dinner peacefully." Jacob said, glaring at the lovey-dovey couple.

Petal entered the room holding the clothes that she borrowed from Jacob for Ethan to wear for the night. The two of them were about the same size. So it will fit him. Or that’s what she thinks.

"Try them." Petal said to him signaling after giving him the clothes.

"Thank you." Ethan said to her noticing the blush that appeared on her cheeks.

Walking towards the door. Petal closed it before she walked towards the wardrobe to look for something to wear. Looking through the clothes. She found a long sleeping pink T-shirt.

Ethan was done changing his clothes and was folding the clothes that he removed when catching the sight of Petal removing her clothes. She first removed her jeans and then her shirt. Now she was only in her black bra and panties. Not realizing that he was staring at her necked body.
