It All Started With Hatred-Chapter 210: Everything she wants and needs

"Ready?" Ethan asked as they were about to leave his room and go downstairs.

Everyone must be waiting for them and she didn’t want to be late. It would be impolite if they prepared this dinner for her.

Petal nodded her head and placed her hand in his and watched as he closed his big hand around her small one and opened the door for them and walked towards the stairs.

"Don’t over push yourself, Whenever you feel tired tell me immediately." Ethan whispered in her ear when they reached downstairs.

Although Petal looks completely fine her body is still in the recovery process, She still can’t walk properly without having to hold onto Ethan but her walking is getting better with the physical therapy that she was getting.

A smile appeared on Petal’s lips. He’s worried about her even when next to her. How much more obsessed can he be? She wondered.

But she loved this kind of attention from him, It makes her feel like nothing ever happened between them.

With his help, The couple walked towards the dining room to find everyone already there waiting for them.

Once the family spotted Ethan and Petal entering the room everyone stood up and it somehow made Petal nervous, They were treating her like she was important to someone.

And isn’t she?

After all, She’s the wife to be of the underworld king, One of the most dangerous men but with her, he only appears to be a normal person, A good partner who treats her with utmost respect, gentleness, and love.

"Petal, You look lovely." It was Pearl the first one to speak when she saw her.

Petal offered her a small smile noticing how Pearl changed... She became more confident in herself.

"I’m glad to see you well and between us again," Lana said as she walked toward her.

"I’m glad too." Petal

Looking down at Petal, Ethan saw how she was looking at his mother. He knew how Petal sees Lana as a mother figure to her, After all, She was the one who treated her well when he mistreated her and hurt her.

Ethan still couldn’t believe that she had forgiven him for what he did to her and for that he will be grateful for the chance she gave him.

"It’s good to see you, Sister-in-law." It was Issac who spoke.

The nervousness that was building up inside of her slowly started to vanish, She reminded herself that she was with her family and the man she love, She has everything she wants and needs.

The dinner went well, Petal ate until she was full and couldn’t move as everyone kept filling her plate with food saying that she needs to eat more to speed up her recovery process until she had no space left in her stomach.

Everyone was careful to not speak about the accident and or anything about what happened when she was in the coma, Petal knew that Ethan had asked them to not speak fearing that it might bother her, But the truth is that she wanted to know more about what happened during that time.

Petal wanted to know how Ethan was able to go through all of this, She was aware that the fear of losing left deep damage Inside of him and she hoped that she will be able to fix it.

After the long night of chatting and eating all sorts of tasty food and desserts, Petal and Ethan left Wilson’s estate, Just like he promised, They’re heading towards the cottage, The place where she wanted to restart her life with him.

Inside the car, Petal was sitting on Ethan’s lap covered by his coat, It was the end of the summer and the nights are getting colder and he hadn’t forgotten how she gets cold easily.

"Are you cols?" Ethan asked touching her hands and was relieved to find them warm. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

"I feel hot. Can I remove it?" Petal asked, signaling.

"No, Your body is weak, You might catch a cold." Ethan replied pulling the coat together making sure that the cold air won’t reach her.

Pouting her lip, Petal rested her head on his chest. She was tired from the long day but she didn’t want to sleep as she had noticed that Ethan keeps checking on her all night to make sure that hadn’t entered a coma again.

"You can sleep if you want to." Ethan said running his fingers through her long hair.

Hearing this, She looked up at him and said."No, I want to stay awake until morning, I want to stay with you." She signaling, Unknowingly she had trigged a certain emotion that he was trying so hard to not think about.

Ethan reached to cover his face with his hand, He was blushing and didn’t want her to see him like this.

Petal’s eyebrows caressed together in worry seeing his reaction, Did she say something wrong? She wondered.

She was too adorable when she signaled these words, Ethan prayed to the gods that he won’t lose his control tonight and ravish her tonight.

Feeling her hand pulling away from his, Ethan removed his hand off his face to see the look of fear and worry written on her cute face.

"You didn’t do anything wrong. It’s just that I’m...." Ethan stuttered on his words, It was difficult to explain but he tried.

"You’re too cute when you say things like that." He explained cupping her face, Running his thumb over her cheekbone that was visible now.

She had lost too much weight during the coma, It hurts every time he remembers what happened and the pain she had to go through.

Noticing the same sad look in his eyes, Petal sighed, She was seeing this look continuously since she woke up.

Can’t he believe that she was alright and was by his side? Was it that hard and painful for him to watch her sleeping for two years?

Of course, it must have been, That’s why she had secretly discussed her body condition with doctors without Ethan’s knowledge.

The doctors assured her that everything will be fine as long as she is taking things slowly.
