Jobless Transmigration: I'm the only one who loves monsters.-Chapter 103: You’ve got it all wrong.
Chapter 103: You’ve got it all wrong.
The morning sunlight arrived from yonder, signaling the arrival of a new day.
After catering towards his own attire. Lucuis focused completely on his daughter, with today probably being the last day he would see her in a while, a rare occurrence emerged where he became a clinging father.
Emily was amused and happy at the same time. Perhaps because today was the day. Lucuis mother did nothing to ruin the mood during dinner. She even surprised everyone by asking if the little one could pass the salt.
While Emily was afraid, her father reassured her and she did.
The remainder of the breakfast went off as usual. Nearing it’s end, Lucuis unconsciously waited a bit more than usual as if expecting something. When it came time to bid them off, his father addressed Leo, warning him to be cautious and to keep safety as his number one priority, to which Leo agreed to but then Lancelot left right after.
The dinning hall turned silent upon his departure, Lucuis’s mother had an apologetic look on her face, even Leo felt a tad sorry for his brother right then since it was obvious their father had no intentions of wishing him off as well.
" Daddy, I want you to return safely too. Don’t forget, you promised we’d each lunch together once you came back, and also visit the library." Unexpected to everyone, it was the little ones voice that broke the silent.
Lucuis who’d felt a tad down, suddenly felt the a warmth growing in his chest.
" Of course I’ll make it back. You know how amazing your father is, do you not?" Said Lucuis with a smile. To which Emily broke into a wide grin, revealing her adorable dimples and pearly whites.
After dinner, Hana, Lavender, Emily, Su, Rugbeard and Lily all came to see Leo and Lucuis off. The brother duo were already in formal attire, the carriages set and ready for them to go.
Under the well wishes and watching eyes of everyone. The both of them got upon one carriage before ridding off, the other carriage naturally followed right after, both carriages soon vanishes from the view of the Morningstar House.
Unbeknownst to everyone, while Lucuis waved at Emily and the others from the carriage windows, a certain someone was watching him with a proud smile, from within the mansion.

Shortly after the brother duo threaded through town before arriving at their destination. Which was non other than Adrian’s home.
The latter was already prepared it seemed, standing by the door along with Snow, Amy, Grey, Emma and his mother, Melissa who came to see them off.
The coachman helped them settle their little bit of luggage, then came and issue.
While they were two carriages, the girls all wanted to stay along with Adrian in one, to this Lucuis didn’t know what to say.
" For now, Snow and I will be riding with the Morningstar brothers. Until we arrive at the academy." Adrian said in a pleading tone to the girls.
Lucuis watched silently as they reluctantly agreed, Snow must of all though expressionless was obviously the most pleased of all.
The all then got within the carriages and the coachmen commanded the horses to a start, continuing their journey once more.
While she did get to sit within the same carriage as Adrian, Snow wasn’t the least bit happy with the extra company, her eyes remained as cold as ever when staring at Lucuis and Leo, well to be honest, she only seemed particularly cold towards Lucuis in question.
Since he was already used to such and even worse from her in his past life, Lucuis acted oblivious, rather he brought up the main issue at hand.
Under the eyes of everyone with in their carriage, he revealed the necklaces he’d gotten from Silvia, which he casually tossed to Adrian, who caught it out of reflex.
" And these are?" Adrian asked after staring at them for a moment.
" Those are what’ll help your supernatural friends become less probable to detection when we arrive at the academy, although I’m not sure if it’ll be effective when they intentional reveal their true selves." Lucuis said before glancing at Snow. " Which is why I’d like you to warn your companions to be extra careful about their temper and emotions. I’d rather not have my family name implicated over a trivial manner." Lucuis said with a calm countenance.
Snow frowned a little, feeling offended by his choice of words. " I still don’t understand. If you’re so worried, then why go to such lengths to have us enroll." She said.
Lucuis said nothing immediately but briefly stole a glance at his brother Leo, it didn’t take him much thought to realise that he must’ve spilled a few things to her.
’ I’m sorry but if there was any other way, I wouldn’t have done this.’ Lucuis said to himself, while having already accepted his new self, he still did hold some attachments to his past and didn’t want to see anyone of those from his past getting into danger.
The prospective danger of the one who’d hurt snow before their first meeting was one of the things that pushed him to make such a decision. He wanted her and the others to grow stronger so as to be able to protect themselves and his mother going forward. The second reason being that he didn’t want to be too far away from his so called imposter when attending the academy.
But telling her all this and explaining himself would only complicate things, he felt. So.
" Us? Forgive me but I had no intentions of having the rest of you lot tag along. I’m only interested in this man right here." He gestured towards Adrian with his eyes at the end. " The rest of you are simply baggage who I decided would be best to come along because it was obvious you wouldn’t have allowed him to leave otherwise."
" If it’s not clear to you, then let me make it clear. Your partner is the only one I’m really interested in." Lucuis tone changed into a light mocking one.
