Chapter 64: Chapter 63 Titan Clan Lands_2
Chapter 64 -63 Titan Clan Lands_2
“What the hell …” Muria speechlessly watched the scene unfold, thinking the Titan Tribe was definitely a lively bunch to have messed around and created something as sophisticated as a one-time-use Teleportation Array.
“Let’s go!” With hand pressed onto Muria’s shoulder, Heloise half-dragged and half-led Muria into the Teleportation Array. As Gerald also entered the Array, it activated instantly. A surge of power tore through space, enveloping Muria and the rest, sending them to a pre-set coordinates.
In the doorway of the White Jade Divine Palace, only a few silver specks remained, scattering in the wind…
High above the boundless, continuous grand mountain range stretching out as far as the eye could see. Amid these ancient mountains emitting a vast, primal aura, towering ancient trees flourish, each seeming to reach for the heavens with their branches.
The vegetation here was taller and more ancient than on Taiji Island, where Muria was from…After the teleportation ended, Muria appeared at the top of a towering mountain peak, standing in a simple courtyard, feeling delighted by the scenery before him.
“So this is the Titan Clan Lands,” Muria took a deep breath, the elemental concentration in the air here was multiple times that of Taiji Island.
Muria then looked up to the sky, a cloud whale with undulating fins was swimming among the white clouds, its massive body casting a giant shadow on the ground. Muria looked downwards and saw, not too far away, a robust, densely-furred, black Giant Ape leaping amongst the mountains…
The Titan Clan Lands radiated an ancient and primal aura and was home to many powerful beings. The overwhelming power of these beings filled Muria’s senses like erupting volcanoes, magnificently conspicuous.
Muria cast his gaze wide, looking in the direction of the most powerful aura. The overwhelming presence was brighter in his perception than even the sun. Then, Muria stiffened involuntarily and said, “What is a creature like that doing in the Titan Clan Land?”
There lay a sleeping Fox Emperor amongst the mountains, its silver fur dancing amidst purple flames, its large and slender body exhibiting a sense of powerful aesthetics. It trailed behind nine large tails, each spanning over several continuous mountain ranges.
Solitary, dignified, domineering, noble… Looking at the colossal Fox Emperor, a few words appeared in Muria’s mind. Yet, these words felt meager when trying to describe the Fox Emperor.
“The Nether Purple Emperor.” Gerald, the Titan teenager, came to stand beside Muria, also looking at the Fox Emperor engulfed in purple flames.
“What is it?” It was only then that Muria broke free of the awe and shock induced by the Fox Emperor.
“That’s the title of the Fox Emperor, we do not know its name,” Gerald sighed.
“Why would such a creature exist in our world?” Muria continued staring at the distant Fox Emperor, unable to divert his gaze, “It was never mentioned in my heritage memory.”
“The Fox Emperor comes from the Void. It doesn’t belong to our world. The older folks say it’s looking for someone, currently taking a break in Elasia, simply stopping by for a short visit,” Gerald explained.

“Hmm? Where has the Purple Emperor gone?” Muria tilted his head to listen to Gerald speak. However, when he turned back, the Fox Emperor, with its mountain-pillow, had vanished, and he could no longer sense the overwhelming presence that was akin to the sun.
“It probably woke up, changed form and went elsewhere on Clan Land for some leisure. Speaking of which, you’re really lucky, Muria, to have seen the Purple Emperor on your first visit. We barely get to see it regularly.”
“I see!” A wave of intense disappointment welled up in Muria, casting a shadow over his mood.
“Ding ding dong…” Just then, a pleasant and melodious sound of a harp reached his ears. The elegant and soothing music made Muria feel as if his ears had been cleansed with pure water, instantly lifting his mood.
“What kind of nonsense was I listening to before?” This was Muria’s first impression after comparing the music he was currently hearing to the music he used to enjoy in his leisure time in the past.
“Is that an… Angel?” Hearing such wonderful music, Muria naturally looked for the source of the sound. Then he saw a handsome young man seemingly lost in his harp playing – a young man with three pairs of snow-white wings on his back.
However, the spot this angel had chosen for performing was quite baffling. This handsome angel, was perched outside of the courtyard where Muria resided, atop a gnarled ancient tree that emitted specks of phosphorescence.
“Oh, why is he here again?” emitted Gerald woefully upon hearing the harp music.
“Who is he?” enquired Muria, curiously. He hadn’t expected after being teleported, to not see any other Titans, instead his eyes were met with the spellbinding sight of the Fox Emperor and a six-winged angel making music perched on someone else’s doorstep.
“He’s a Blazing Sky God Descendant, not an angel, Muria, don’t get it wrong!” Gerald solemnly advised Muria. “These are descendants of the Ancient Gods, although similar to the angels, they are not angels, just as we are similar to the giants.”
“The descendants of the Ancient Gods.” Muria mumbled to himself, the title alone sounded formidable. “However, it is hard to distinguish this Blazing Sky God Descendant from actual angels.”
“You’d be able to distinguish a Blazing Sky God Descendant from a mere angel during a fight, they are identical in this tranquil state, save the extra pair of wings.”
“So what’s the story with this descendant of the Ancient Gods perched on a tree playing a harp?” Muria enquired curiously.
“Listen well to the music he plays,” Gerald advised, grinning teasingly.
“This music…” On truly listening, Muria realized, at first he was entirely mesmerized by the Fox Emperor that he didn’t focus on the music, even when the Fox Emperor disappeared, his attention wasn’t drawn to the undertones in the music. “It projects love!”
“Indeed…” Muria glanced towards the Blazing Sky God Descendant, engrossed in the music outside his courtyard. Followed by an inspection of the courtyard shrouded in an aura of ancient simplicity, devoid of any decoration, “Whose residence is this?”
“Who else, but Heloise! That man is tirelessly trying to woo Heloise, performing a self-composed song atop this tree daily, come rain or shine.”
“Huh,” Muria expressed a feeling of déjà vu, proceeding to dig deeper. “What are Heloise’s perceptions of him?”
“I’ve just told you already.”
“Huh?” Muria looked puzzled, a realization dawning on him as a Golden Thunder Spear, spanning more than fifty meters, shot past him. It was aimed ruthlessly at the handsome Blazing Sky God Descendant boy, conjoined with the fury of a hurricane.
In that moment, Muria grasped the difference between a Blazing Sky God Descendant and a regular angel, as the six snow-white wings of the Blazing Sky God Descendant boy began radiating pale red flames as the Thunder Spear closed in.
“Boom!” The bright flames exploded to form half a sphere as a barrier, intercepting the Thunder Spear. Upon collision, both elements exploded scattering golden shards of Thunder and transparent Windblades all over, landing primarily on the ancient verdant tree beneath the Blazing Sky boy.
However, the ancient tree that suffered the collateral damage emanated subtle verdant phosphorescence from the knots on its stem, staving off all the aftereffects, not succumbing to even a single falling leaf amidst the vibrant conflict.
“True to the saying, come rain or shine.” Muria watched, aghast, at the persistently engrossed playing of the Blazing Sky boy, despite the fire on him ebbing away.
Muria had indeed recognized the extraordinariness of the Blazing Sky God Descendant. The raging, sacred flames seemed to cleanse everything unholy with an overbearing might. This strength didn’t appear inferior to that of the Titan’s in the least.
“Miss Heloise, how did you find the song I played today?” the Blazing Sky God Descendant boy enquired aloud, after the conclusion of his piece, while looking in the direction of the courtyard.
“Buzz off!” was Heloise’s curt reply.
Upon hearing such a harsh response, the youth’s countenance remained unchanged, on the contrary he offered a friendly nod towards Muria and Gerald within the courtyard. He then picked up his harp and transformed into a blaze of bright flames, disappearing atop the luxuriant and knotted ancient tree.
