"Is there a gong, or should we just start?" King Aurora asked as the two large disks spun dangerously around him.

A blue sword appeared in Vesh’s hand.

The two disks cracked under some kind of pressure as their structure broke down.

The armor flickered with light as energy circulated through it while it absorbed the broken disks, wresting away King Aurora’s control over his own energy by using prototype circulation pathways in his armor that worked similarly to Ascension Storm of Heaven and Earth, except that it was specialized to absorb surrounding energy in a short range for defense and swift recovery.

"Impressive armor." King Aurora spoke and vanished.

In the next moment, he was ten meters to the left of Vesh and punched the air toward him.

From the golden ring around his wrist, a spiral orb with whirling razor-blade circular energy patterns inside it shot forward at hypersonic speed.

Vesh’s eyes glinted as his hand moved, and a flash occurred.

The orb was split into two.

Both halves were already a few kilometers behind after being cut and exploded into a compact 50-meter radius.

King Aurora smiled, and his arms blurred.

In a second, fifty such orbs shot at Vesh.

But King Aurora’s eyes glinted as he swung his fist to the left while the ring around that hand’s wrist spun rapidly as its patterns changed.

Vesh was there, his sword intending to cut King Aurora’s shoulder.

But he felt a tingle in his brain at the incoming fist of King Aurora and dodged, canceling his attack.

In the place where Vesh was, a 10-centimeter radius piercing condensed beam shot from King Aurora’s hand. It struck a mountain several kilometers away and pierced it before continuing for a while.

"I guess this one can pierce your armor since you dodged." King Aurora chuckled.

Vesh blinked, his armor’s white eyes brightening briefly. "Is that a talent?"

"One of the techniques I created from my best talent." King Aurora smiled.

Both figures moved again as the clash continued.

Frowning, he stopped as three seconds passed.

Magic dispersed, and Vesh appeared not only unscathed, but his armor appeared more powerful.

"How tough is that armor?" King Aurora wryly smiled.

"Scattered attacks with broken intensity cannot do anything to this armor." Vesh put away his sword as he spread his hands.

"Let’s end this."

On both of Vesh’s palms, a donut-shaped golden-brown glassy structure appeared. Within its edges spun something black with uneven cracks that pulsed with violet lightning sparks. If one looked with a microscope, one would see electric charges coursing through microscopic black pipelines in a controlled manner, creating the fundamental force, electromagnetism.

King Aurora’s eyes narrowed as they glimmered with prism gold.

The strange object in that donut-shaped construct was spinning so fast, it was out of his perception.

In the next moment, both donuts vanished.

CHHA!

Before he could register anything, something flashed by.

He looked to his right side.

His right arm was gone before his brain could register it was gone.

"I call them Donuts of Destruction. Objects that can travel faster than your fastest." Vesh smiled behind the mask.

’I’ll have to test their limits, but the particle accelerator cube is already spent within two seconds. The energy consumption for that speed is insane.’

"That was way faster than my fastest...." King Aurora muttered and looked at Vesh. "It seems the first round belongs to your Kingdom. Guess I should start thinking about what to do in case of a tie."

"Don’t bother spending energy on that. How about we go into the city and watch our subordinates fight from there?" Vesh suggested. "I can show you a few important structures of the Ananta Kingdom."

"Sounds good. I am curious about this city as well."

Vesh chuckled. "Don’t worry. Even when your Kingdom becomes a territory of the Ananta Kingdom, I will let you keep your artistic expression and design my signature buildings accordingly."

"..." King Aurora shook his head. "Your audacity is quite unusual, but I don’t feel irritated. It’s strange. Perhaps because you never showed any evil intent toward us, not even for a fraction of a second."
