Kevin managed to squeeze in his schedule and save more time to spend it with Mitch, so he told Will to handle the tour around with Mitch and Berry. On the other hand, Will was honestly glad since he too had some important things to handle. It was a favor asked by Olivia, and he would not say 'no' to whatever it was.

"Thank you, Kevin," Will said from another line. He was on his way to the hotel but quickly made a u-turn upon receiving Kevin's call.

"No problem. I already informed the Queen that I would take over on the tour so you could take care of some other things," Kevin said. The call soon ended. Kevin was smiling as he put back his mobile phone in his pocket. He was outside the car, waiting for Mitch and Berry to come out.

His smile widened when he saw Mitch going out of the exit door to approach him. He opened his arms so Mitch could comfortably pounce on him and gave him a quick kiss on his lips. It had been a routine for them to greet each other like that since Mitch arrived.

"Berry won't come, so it's only us for now," Mitch whispered in his ear. She was blushing hard. She always did whenever she and Kevin would have a public display of affection like that but who cared? It was not like they could spend time together every day like this since she would soon come back to country D for work.

"How come Berry did not come?" Kevin asked while he escorted Mitch inside the car.

"Ah, she's busy…" Mitch answered with an awkward smile. She couldn't believe what she heard from Berry over the phone. She wanted to know more but Berry only sent her a message just to enjoy her time with Kevin, and she would return to country D first to take care of the company. That also meant she could stay for more days since Berry reassured her that she would look after the company well.

She was not against it, though, that Berry would return first. She was grateful for Berry since it was an excellent opportunity for her and Kevin since she did not know when to have time with Kevin alone again. 𝐟re𝐞w𝐞𝒃𝓃𝒐𝐯𝚎𝒍.c૦𝚖

Having a long-distance relationship was not easy but as the saying goes, it takes two to tango. As long as she and Kevin could make adjustments for each other, then everything would be fine.

She shook her head since she could already tell why Berry would come back home early. It was probably to stalk Harry Cha, who was perhaps her new target. The two spent the night together, but she was a bit worried for Berry. Yeah, she was old enough to take care of herself right but still, she preferred to see Berry not hastily jump on doing aggressive things.

"What's bothering you?" Kevin asked her since he noticed Mitch spaced out whenever he gave her a quick look at the passenger seat.

Mitch smiled and said, "nothing."

"Mitch," Kevin whispered as he grabbed one of Mitch's hands.

"Yup," Mitch answered.

"I want you to meet my family if that's fine with you…" Kevin timidly said. He had been itching to say it to Mitch, but he hesitated most of the time since he did not want Mitch to feel pressured. They've been together not long enough, but he was dead serious in his relationship with her with the thought of marriage.

Mitch stared at Kevin with a bright smile carving on her face.

"Oh! That would be great. I would love to meet every member of your family Kevin!" Mitch burst in excitement. She had already thought of asking Kevin to meet her family, but she was too shy to do so. She felt so relieved that Kevin initiated his willingness to introduce her to the family first.

She had a bashful smile as she added, "I honestly wanted you to meet my family too. Maybe once you have the chance to visit our country, then we can do that next."

"I definitely will, Mitch. As soon as I get the opportunity to take a leave from work, the first thing I do is to meet your family."

Kevin stopped the car and escorted Mitch out. He brought her to the famous canals and lagoon in their city, where he intended to bring Mitch alone while she was in his country.

It would be nice to do it before or during sunset but he had limited time only. He asked for a gondola ride and guided Mitch on the boat to sit, then he sat beside her.

"Wow, this is nice. I've never been into a gondola ride before." Mitch commented. She had been into a yacht only and ship but not into a small boat like that.

"Good thing then that your first experience with it is with me. Ahm, it's much better to ride it during sunset. It's more romantic but I need to go back to the Palace later," Kevin commented.

"That's alright," Mitch answered with a smile. All moments with Kevin were so romantic already! She wanted to voice it out but she was too shy. Instead, her cheeks only reddened at her silly thoughts.

"You're blushing," Kevin commented since his stare never left Mitch's face.

Mitch bit her lower lip and whispered, "ah, it's because I think that every moment with you is all romantic regardless of the place." She decided to voice out her thoughts, recalling Berry's advice that she should be more vocal about what she wanted to say whenever she was with Kevin. That way, Kevin would know and understand her feelings more.

Kevin had a sweet smile and pulled Mitch closer to him. He picked up something in his pocket. Mitch saw that small box in his hand and her heart beating started drumming so fast and loud.

'Is it what I think it is?' she mused as she bit her inner cheek. Kevin grabbed one of her hands, then he looked straight into her eyes and said, "Mitch, you may not believe this but the moment that I saw you at Perdu Island, I honestly thought to myself that you are the type of woman I want to know more. And as I got to know you more, I became more greedy. That I want to spend the rest of my life with you…"

Mitch gulped as she watched Kevin open the box and get the ring inside.

"Will you marry me, Mitch?" Kevin straightforwardly asked. He knew that it was not romantic enough to do it this way, but he did not waste any more time since he had limited available time at this point. He wanted to ask Mitch this before she went back to country D. Some might think that he was in a hurry, yeah he was since for him, time was gold. Things could get dangerous in his line of work, so every day for him was too precious, and he wanted to spend the rest of his life having Mitch beside him.

He was so nervous while waiting for Mitch to answer.

"Yes, I will marry you! Even today! I'm willing to marry you as soon as possible!" Mitch burst, followed by the tears that suddenly rolled down her eyes. She did not need to think more about it because she was dying to be Kevin's wife.
