Brione stood up and entered Cedric's bedroom.

"What the heck?" she burst out when she saw the extravagantly decorated luxurious bathroom.

"How nice it is to be a Prince," she whispered before she picked a new toothbrush from the drawer and brushed her teeth. Then she washed her face with water.

When she came out, Cedric was back with a tray of food.

"Are you feeling better?" he asked as he arranged breakfast on the table in the balcony just outside his bedroom. His room in the palace was like a house in itself with private areas and rooms of his own. No wonder there were only three doors on the third floor of the palace since Cedric's room itself occupied almost half the area on the third floor.

She bet there were also secret doors and connecting doors all around.

"A penny for your thoughts?" Cedric said when he noticed Brione spacing out as she walked towards the balcony. It was much smaller compared to the balcony connected to his living area.

"Ahm nothing, I just realized that your room is very big, almost half of the third floor," she said as she sat on the chair Cedric pulled for her.? "Is there a connecting door to my room too?"

Cedric laughed and said, "Of course not! Don't worry I will not spy on you, okay. If I want to see you or be with you, I will knock on your door."

Cedric sat down close to her, pampering her by trying to feed her spoonsful of soup.

"I can eat on my own," Brione insisted so Cedric let her be.

"Last night…" Cedric started and Brione coughed into her soup.

Cedric laughed again, "Alright, let's talk once we finish eating.

Brione could finally relax. She did not want to talk about the kiss because she was too embarrassed. Maybe some other time, but not today. 𝒇𝘳𝐞𝚎𝓌𝑒𝑏𝒏𝑜𝙫ℯl.c𝚘𝒎

The food was great and Cedric started to give her something for her headache but she refused, "It's not needed. I'm feeling better now. This hangover soup is very effective."

The sun was up and she was sure everyone would be worried about her as she had left her mobile phone in her room.

"Thank you so much for being a gentleman and also for the breakfast. I should go back to my room now. I'm sure Berry and Mitch are worried."

"Don't worry, they know you're here."

"What?! Do they know I slept here?" she exclaimed.

"Yes, there's nothing wrong with it though. We will be living together soon anyway," Cedric said with a satisfied smile.

Brione almost forgot that she had already signed the agreement so there was no turning back now. On a side note, she could take advantage of this situation.

Her eyes lit up, she looked at Cedric and said, "So I can move in here

, right?"

Cedric was caught off guard and it took him a while to nod his agreement. He could tell that Brione was planning something suspicious. But then on a side note, he most definitely loved the idea.

It was a brilliant suggestion!

"Sure, I will ask Manager Ruth to arrange it immediately," Cedric said, toning his voice down, trying not to sound too excited.

"Hmm, thanks. I'm sure you have a spare bedroom, right?" Brione added timidly.

"I don't. But you can sleep here with me. I don't bite. See you didn't even notice me beside you last night," Cedric commented nonchalantly.

"What? You slept in the same bed as me?" Brione burst out because she thought Cedric had spent the night sleeping in another room or on the couch in his bedroom.

"Of course. It's my bed, so why won't I sleep in it? Don't worry, I was a perfect gentleman. I told you I won't touch you, alright, unless you asked," Cedric, with a teasing smile, defended.

"As if I will ask for it!" Brione scoffed.

He chuckled, eyes peering at her, "We will see about that. Anyway, do you have any plans for today?"

Brione, whose face was still red, just shook her head.

"Then we can continue our tour of the forest if you like? Tomorrow you will be busy with the shoot and I need to attend to some important matters as well."

"I will go and get ready now," Brione said and stood up. She walked back inside the bedroom and Cedric followed her.

She paused and turned around to face Cedric then said, "I can walk myself out. You don't need to follow me."

Cedric did not answer but moved closer instead. Brione gulped as she tried to calm the palpitations of her heart. She stepped back to put some space between them but Cedric continued to step closer.

His eyes were searching hers but she did not blink.

"What are you doing?" she whispered.

"Do you know how sexy you look right now, huh? Wearing a thin nightgown like that without anything to hide those peaks of yours?" Cedric whispered, his breathing ragged. It was becoming harder to control himself which he had been doing since last night.

Brione's mouth twitched as she whispered, "Don't worry I will wear pyjamas tonight so don't you dare think that I plan to seduce you."

Cedric's lips curled into a dangerous and playful smile. With lips almost touching Brione's, he whispered, "I'm not complaining though."

Brione's knees started to tremble and she felt like they would crumble at any moment.

"Don't you remember how passionately you kissed me last night, Bri?"

Brione's eyes widened and her face reddened, as she recalled the kiss.

She stepped back and quickly turned around to run out the door saying, "Stop spurting such nonsense! Why would I kiss you! I have a fear of kissing!"

She heard Cedric laugh as she rushed out the door. She would no longer insist to Cedric that he was Gavin or it would get his guard up. He would just deny it and give her more proof that he was not Gavin. So what she needed to do was prove it to him when his guard was down.
